To get the most out of it, it is definitely necessary to acquire a certain skill level. The ability to use the integrated new search methods correctly, to formulate unambiguous promts and also a more or less unconditional trust in the answers of the AI could soon replace the conventional way of patent searching. IPRally has a unique approach to patent searching called knowledge graph search that is highly logical and intuitive to use for anyone who is familiar with how patent claims are written. It is fast, making use of modern Graph Neural Network technology, and gives an entirely new way to find relevant patents compared to the more traditional Boolean or Proximity search approach.

More recently they have added a new function called AskAI that makes excellent use of the very latest generation of AI Large Language Model. AskAI allows me to probe patents for hard to locate details, and to help me understand what a patent is about in seconds and minutes instead of hours- a huge time saver.
