I love how it shows IP metrics, and it also displays the IP reputation status (for example, suspicious or malicious). It also has a feature to check the URL and domain. Overall, I really like the dashboard.

I would say they could improve the UI to make it look more aesthetic, but otherwise everything is fine.

**What problems is IPQS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IPQS provides key metrics and reputation details about an IP address, including whether the IP is involved in malicious activity or not, along with other necessary information. This is crucial for any cybersecurity expert when deciding what action to take. I’ve personally used it while creating incident reports.

**What do you like best about IPQS?**

IPQS is one of the best services I've tried for detecting VPNs and residential proxies, especially since it provides FS, allowing me to determine the extent of the damage caused by the IP address. It also provides important information about the IP address, enabling me to make an informed decision regarding purchasing it.

**What do you dislike about IPQS?**

The price is exorbitant; the cheapest package costs $100 and offers very few tests, but the quality is worth it, although the price remains high.

**What problems is IPQS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My store was receiving over 100 fake orders daily from competitors. While the IPQS integration allowed me to block many of them, I switched to fingerprinting due to pricing issues, and it's excellent so far.

**What do you like best about IPQS?**

IPQualityScore has been the most helpful tool in my nine years of experience fighting fraud in online transactions and since we can perform deep analyses using it, we can eliminate almost any possibility of fake chargebacks and increase our authorization rates with their chargeback guarantee system. Also IPQualityScore makes it a little bit easier to implement and continuously manage, thanks to the responsive and always available support staff.

**What do you dislike about IPQS?**

While IPQualityScore is a great fraud prevention tool, the web portal is rather slow and it would also be great if they could support the asian market further, in particular and update me when the algorithm is changed as I would greatly appreciate it and this would greatly help me enhance my strategies of fraud prevention.

**What problems is IPQS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the AI provided by IPQualityScore we were able to detect false trends that might escape human notice which helped us cut the need for manual inspection dramatically. **What do you like best about IPQS?**

I value IPQS very much as it offers much higher speed, dependability and accuracy than my previous vendor and fast reaction times and excellent dependability make us much more suited to quickly screen prospective clients. And the simplicity of the dashboard and the abundance of useful tools also allows me to quickly access most data about specific users and according to my personal experience using it also helps me to spot fraud quicker.

**What do you dislike about IPQS?**

While it’s a great service, IPQS is quite expensive when put against other IP lookup companies out there and for small tasks, it gets pretty hard to rationalize even if those other options aren’t as exact since the cost variance is fairly hefty. Also more people would use it without worrying about its accuracy if only there were more reasonably priced tiers or flexible pricing alternatives.

**What problems is IPQS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online fraud has troubled us for quite a while now and hence we implemented IPQS to improve our regualtions and scoring system to better identify activities that are more fraudulent and also, this has almost cut down the entire spam traffic and hence we saw a sharp increase in our user base quality. Overall the accuracy of IPQS ensures that good users are not mistakenly caught while spotting fraudsters and this also makes our verification process much smoother which again saves us both time and money.

**What do you like best about IPQS?**

The manual email check feature found in IPQS is actually one that I like best that it enables me to thoroughly verify email accounts associated with transactions and I also find the fraud scoring, web profiling and data breach options extremely useful for daily operations. Also, I just like the general interaction of IPQS with our systems; it brings strong fraud detection without really forcing more systems to be that much more complicated, which is very good.

**What do you dislike about IPQS?**

IPQS may be deceptively slow as processes tend to take far too many change approvals. Opening too many panels at once may slow down the platform, decreasing its efficiency and I also need external tools for better data analysis because it doesn't provide such complex tools.

**What problems is IPQS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We apply IPQS’s comprehensive email and device intelligence to expose and end fraudulent behavior on our platform and inspecting patterns of email addresses at the time account is created along with device behavior makes it very easy for me to identify fraudulent activity. Hence it helps us maintain a high conversion rate at the time of login and further save our platform from fraudulent accounts by detecting them at the initial stage.

With IPQS we were able to upgrade our security systems and the appeal of IPQS is very great to me because it enables us to validate user digital identities without going through the manual or kyc verification process. And the upgraded security of our systems has allowed us to prevent not just financial but also reputational losses which I think is more important for any business or company.

The site's loading speed isn't always steady for example, it's really annoying ot have to refresh the page while logging into the website and if there are more users accessing the same account, a significant delay is noticeable.

IPQS has helped us to upgrade our security system which made our platform's enrollment process a lot more smoother and with access to a large amount of user's online data from IPQS, we can always make sure that no malicious user is using our website.

**What do you like best about IPQS?**

IPQS has some of the best support I have ever come across, with responses generally within a day. And one of the most beneficial features of IPQS that I found is the manual email check tool which allows users to verify the account associated with a transaction and this helps me streamline my daily tasks without much effort. Email and device intelligence quickly spot fake email addresses and devices around account creation. Our Risk Team uses IPQS to review accounts in order to prevent chargebacks, affiliate fraud, and bonus abuse.

**What do you dislike about IPQS?**

Dashboards cannot be made in IPQS, which is a disadvantage because businesses cannot enjoy using their preferred dedicated dashboard tools. One lack of IPQS is that it does not link associate players with Device and Browser hashes; not all hash values are relevant. Great integration, which also acts as envisioned as a fraud prevention mechanism.

**What problems is IPQS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Though rules can be established to prevent fraud at registration, they may also be enforced on current accounts at login, thus allowing us to discover connections between accounts that the client has never previously examined. The api of IPQS is really outstanding as it enables us real time blocking of possibly any dangerous emails or ip addresses and it's user interface not only gives us both correct and useful answers but also guides us through the api configuration procedure. And their customer service is also top class and we heavily rely on them to solve any issues we have to keep our system secure and safe from any dangerous emails or ip addresses.

IPQS provides us with a large range of solutions meant to help us enhance our overall security but large ip or email lists can make it to become slow, so we had to suffer delays rarely. IPQS provides a lot of information that I may use to improve my security decisions and though there haven't been fraudulent lately, the fraud score tool looks at behavior over the long period of time in order to stop the usage of malicious IP addresses. Since the beginning of this decade, every one of our websites has been IPQS as the primary fraud detection service. We use it to verify the validity of every visit to our website by means of proxy and IP address data analysis of individual users, therefore spotting those with high fraud rates. Having worked in cyber protection for more than eight years, I regularly find myself in circumstances where I must find the fraud score of an IP address to verify if the connection is real. And I have tested a lot of apps including IPQS, IPinfo, Scammeralytics, and few more. But IPQS caught out as the most accurate and gave 5,000 free credits to try it out. And I have always used it since then, and today our company checks IP addresses for fraud using it as well.

With the monthly 5,000 free credit, you can test them; but, if you do not utilize all the other services, you might not receive the value for your money as their membership plans are expensive.

What most strikes you about IPQS is its simplicity and clarity. Through AI enabled validation processes, the platform diligently screens each email address, thus supporting the informed decisions I need to make. With a 98% accuracy record, I can allow it to clean my email lists without any reservations and a simple web interface and fast API responses mean everything works efficiently.

Especially for larger amounts, which can prove difficult for people on tighter budgets I think the price is a bit high. Rare occurrences of delays within bulk processing and no real time connectivity — both of which could actually impede my operations. Much more difficult for colleagues to try out the service on their own because every company sector can only have one account.

It is good at noticing and flagging suspicious activity - bots, compromised accounts, other threats. Though, in parallel with these problems, the viewer should still find the IPQS dashboard interesting. The very helpful support people enabled us to make the security of our service much better by helping us fine-tune our ability to detect threats.

While this pricing may be okay with the benefits, low resource-based businesses or startups may consider it expensive. False positives on the platform also make customers spend time and energy on unwarranted manual searches since these are also to be considered, therefore impacting the experience.

Both businesses and customers contact us on a daily basis through our website and our contact email. But often times the emails we get are either spam or contains something malicious. And for this reason, we have tried quite a few email validation and checking services online but IPQS was the most accurate and blocked the most amount of spam.

I don't have any major issues with IPQS but nothing is 100 percent perfect and when using their email checking service, we did notice some spam emails that were able to evade their filters and reach our inbox.

IPQS makes app development and website installation far easier for us. We can easily understand the API documentation and quick help is given. The team is fast to answer our needs and the application programming interface (API) is clear. IPQS helps sort which leads are good and which are not.

**What do you dislike about IPQS?**

The pricey plan with more credits is expensive, but it doesn't have any limits on which IP addresses can be blacklisted. We can use the dashboard, but the user design could be more up to date.

After over two years of using IPQualityScore, we are quite happy with it and it has fulfilled all of our needs. The degree to which IPQualityscore excelled the other fraud detection systems has always left us amazed. Ipqualityscore.com helps us block and stop fraud by prohibiting visitors with dubious ip addresses from coming to our online page and by using service like onfido to validate user passwords we can ensure that only real people may access the site and so make it even more safer. Apart from ensuring client and staff safety this helps us establish credibility for our company and saves a lot of time and money as opposed to personally handling frauds.

Teams that aren't extremely tech savvy could find it simpler to use the customizing tools to adjust the fraud criteria and the system might also have some problems at the margins, where it depends on accurate IP data and IP addresses change all the time, even if the connection is quite dependable. Also anohter issue I have observed with IPqs is that occasionally accidental blockings of real users who use vpns or have unusual IP patterns cause great annoyance and must be addressed by a human.

Due to the developer friendly approach of IPQS, connecting their API to our website was done quickly and very easily. And the guidelines are written very well too. After exploring alternative solutions, we discovered IPQS blacklisted all VPN and proxies and emails with the lowest false positive rate. Particularly with google adsense and google ad exchange, this made it a great tool for our arbitage sites as well as for stopping account closures brought on by invalid traffic. By deleting eroneous addresses and offering thorough information like which ones are most likely to be spam traps or disposable, the service does a good job of cleansing our contact list.

Although an improved user interface would be great for the dashboard, it fulfill its function really effectvely. And although the service is more expensive, changing to a plan with more credits will help you to get a better bargain.

The customer service is also wonderful and responsive and very helpful.

Like I said before it is very costly as even the lowest tier costs 2000 dollars. So you may want to consider if you want to upgrade to a paid plan or use the free plan with limited credits.

IPQS has a number of features from which, we use the email verification and IP reputation the most often. Which helps us prevent any online fraud and any phishing attempts via email.

**What do you like best about IPQS?**

Overall IPQS made it really for us to improve the quality of contact information. While they have a number of great features it had the best accuracy for their fraud score we found. 

We implemented it because we had a lot of issues with spam/bot leads signing up from marketing campaigns. While we have other tools to prevent this they weren't doing the job at preventing these bots, especially from Google Ads campaigns. With IPQS we were able to save so much time for our sales rep.

I've enjoyed the product immensely. I set it up and it didn't cause issues. While we had initial sticker shock the price was definitely worth it.

We had a huge issue with fradulent signups from our Google Ads campaigns. Even with other tools to prevent this they were doing a poor job. IPQS was able to give us better detection capabilities that saved our sales reps from wasting so much time. Best of all it requires almost no maintenance.

**What do you like best about IPQS?**

The best part is the ipqs easy-to-use api and the automatic fraud scoring system which after a lot of manual testing we found out to be pretty accurate.  As a developer I love their detailed api documentation which made integration super easy. 

Another great feature is the ability to add our own white and blacklist so that we don't have to maintain it ourselves and can just trust the api response when blocking users based on ip, email scoring

**What do you dislike about IPQS?**

Been using their services for last 2 years and found nothing to dislike so far.  Customer service responds pretty quickly and even gave us discounts a couple of times when we went above our usage quota

**What problems is IPQS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a product and users started gamifyimg our system by creating multiple accounts using VPN and automated scripts.  IpQS helped us identify fradulent/newly created email addresses and also identifying I someone is using VPN to mask their identity.  Helped reduce fraud on our website by 80%

IPQS is the easiest and fastest way to quickly identify possible fraudulent applicants/students - via the IP Address they used, their email address, and even using the phone number that they submitted.  SImply upload your list of IP Addresses, email addresses, or phones, submit - then in a few minutes - a full report will be generated and sent to you.

**What do you dislike about IPQS?**

Although, there is no way we can guarantee and with 100% confidence that said IP, email, or phone is FRAUD.  Yet - this is the best tool available with the most up-to-date database reference in the market today.

**What problems is IPQS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It enable us to detect/identify IP Addresses, email Addresses, and phones that have been used fraudulently in the past... give us some directions on where we can start and focus our attention.

The primary advantage I've found with IPQualityScore is its straightforward and effective functionality for IP reputation insights. The platform allows me to query IP addresses efficiently, helping me identify potential risks or issues with the IPs that appear in our system alerts. This capability is particularly valuable given that my use case is more focused on security and network management rather than comprehensive fraud detection. The ease of integration and the depth of data available, even on the free plan, have been instrumental in streamlining our processes for monitoring and assessing IP reputations.

**What do you dislike about IPQS?**

While IPQualityScore serves well for my basic need to understand the reputation of IP addresses, I've encountered a few drawbacks. Primarily, the service's pricing structure and focus seem overly geared toward extensive fraud prevention features. This doesn't quite fit my requirements, which center more on IP reputation insights rather than broad-spectrum fraud detection. Furthermore, although I don't heavily rely on advanced features due to my lower usage needs, I find the lack of access to these features under more affordable plans somewhat limiting.

**What do you like best about IPQS?**

My personal favourite feature of IPQS has always been the mass IP lookup tools and IP fraud scoring in general. Alot of my roles have been based in fraud prevention and AML, and the oversight this tool has provided on IP activity has been invaluable in my assessment of jurisdictional risk time and time again.

**What do you dislike about IPQS?**

The only downside I've come across with IPQS is not necessarily a downside of the service, rather a downside of IP lookups in that you can look at multiple sources and get different results, however I've always found IPQS to be the more accurate in the context of the particular case.

**What problems is IPQS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing in depth IP analysis at the push of a button facilitating an in depth and accurate assessment of the jurisdictional risk associated with a digital footprint.

A lot of great features but we haven't used all features. We use it occasionally to check emails signed up in our Wordpress site. It is easy for me to upload the csv list and use the free quota (100 a day) for our case.

limited free quota daily. But free has its cost, no complaint.

I noticed in our user sign-up database with some strange emails. So we researched for email verification tool to help us avoid those spammy accounts. It helps us avoid lowering our email scores in Mailchimp.

We subscribed for their SMB Basic and using Device Fingerprinting to block blacklisted devices and Email verification services to prevent bogus and fraud email sinups. IPQS is able to block 90% of disposible domains and bogus emails.

IPQS blacklisted some valid domains and we have to whitelist them after reviewing all blocked domains.

We are able to block disposible and bogus emails which reduced fraud signups and carding attempts.

Well documented API with recommendations on how to interpret their scoring algorithm. Their data is perfect for a scenario where you want to block a small subset of transactions for manual review while letting the remaining transactions proceed unhindered.

**What do you dislike about IPQS?**

There isn't enough supporting data provided to justify their fraud scoring algorithm. As a result, their data cannot be used to automatically decline an transaction.

**What problems is IPQS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IPQS helps us primarily score the originating IP and device of a transaction to potentially flag for a manual fraud review. Secondarily, we also use their service to flag risks with email address and/or phone. We use this data in a supplementary manner.

I really like the flexibility. The fact that everything is API-based and there are tons of different parameters to base mission-critical decisions is wonderful. Another point worth mentioning is that the documentation is great and straightforward, allowing our engineers a smooth and easy implementation.

What I dislike the most is that they haven't delivered a new feature that we requested on time.
