## iplicit Reviews
  ### 1. Smooth Migration and Stronger Reporting with iplicit

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kethees P. | Financial Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

The migration process from Xero to iplicit was smooth, and the iplicit team were helpful throughout the implementation. Their support made the transition easier and gave us confidence in moving across to the new system.
One of the main benefits is that iplicit offers more attributes and analysis dimensions, which makes it easier to review financial information in detail. This has improved the quality of analysis and made it simpler to understand performance across different areas of the business.
Overall, iplicit provides stronger reporting, better analysis capability, and a more flexible accounting software for finance teams compared with Xero.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

Difficult to create reports need to ask iplicit team to do this for us.
API is difficult to deal with. Sometimes there are missing of sales invoices but we don't get notification. This leads us to do manual reconciliation.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More attribution made product profitability analysis easier.
Drilling down from the report makes easier and quicker to investigate the variances

**Official Response from Beth Price:**

> Thanks for such a considered review, Kethees. Really pleased the migration went smoothly and the added reporting depth is helping you get more out of your analysis.

We appreciate you flagging what isn't working as well, too - it helps us keep improving. iplicit Insights should be able to help on the reporting point, so please keep an eye out for further details. On the API, any invoice that fails returns an error message, and successful ones return a document number, so there should be a record on our side either way. If something's not showing up, please speak to our Support team so they can take a closer look.

Thanks again for sharing your experience.

  ### 2. A Breath of Fresh Air: User-Friendly, Fast, and Easy to Learn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah D. | Payroll Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

After using Sage for over 30 years, moving to Iplicit was a breath of fresh air. The system is intuitive, user-friendly and much easier to learn than I expected. As a Payroll Manager, I regularly use it to post payroll journals and reconcile control accounts, and it's made these tasks much more efficient. Two features I particularly value are the Copy Journal and Unpost Journal functions. Copying recurring journals saves a significant amount of time each month, while the ability to unpost a journal if something needs correcting gives me confidence and flexibility without creating unnecessary work. Overall, Iplicit has streamlined our finance processes and is a pleasure to use.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

My only niggle is how the previous months are ordered when selecting for reporting. The current month sits at the top of the list, but if I want to select last month I have to scroll down past every month from 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and then the earlier months of 2026. As the years go by, this will only get more annoying, and it really needs to be changed so the list runs in the opposite chronological order.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iplicit has simplified our payroll accounting processes by making payroll journals quick and accurate to produce. Reconciling payroll control accounts is straightforward, and the clear audit trail makes it easy to investigate and correct any discrepancies. Features such as Copy Journal save time on recurring postings, while Unpost Journal allows corrections to be made quickly and confidently without unnecessary work. Overall, it has reduced the time I spend on month-end payroll tasks and given me greater confidence in the accuracy of our financial records.

**Official Response from Beth Price:**

> Thank you for such a generous review, Sarah. We appreciate switching to a new finance system can be a big change, so it's great to hear you've found iplicit easy to learn and genuinely enjoyable to use - and we love that it's saving you so much time every month. On the period ordering - we understand why this could become frustrating. Periods currently list open periods first, then run in date order after that, so the quickest route to last month (or any month) is to type it straight into the field rather than scrolling - that'll bring it right up. Thanks again for sharing your experience - we're glad iplicit is making month-end that bit lighter for you.

  ### 3. Most User-Friendly Accounting System with Responsive Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dayse d. | Finance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

Iplicit is the most user friendly accounting system that I have used so far in my career. Their support team is right on track when you face difficulties using the system or setting up new features. Overall our team are very happy with it.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

We had used a very old system prior to change to Iplicit and now after 2 years since the change sometimes we think that if we knew better maybe we would have set it up differently to fit more into our way of work and business needs.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The processes are so much quicker now, specially using the AP automation and Bank rec's. This was way lengthier on our old system. Sometimes taking almost another month to finish it all whereas now, we able able to finish it within days.

  ### 4. Streamlined Manufacturing Costs, Needs Better CNC Integration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathas N. | Industrial Process Engineer, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

I favor iplicit’s seamless cost allocation for manufacturing overheads tied directly to individual production machines. I can quickly link spare part orders and repair bills to specific CNC equipment to calculate true downtime expenditure. Its built-in audit log structure drastically cuts the time we spend compiling paperwork for annual ISO 9001 certification audits at our Hannover plant. Its flexible custom reporting builder stands out immensely for our manufacturing needs. I tailor reports to compare quarterly supplier component costs and machine maintenance budgets effortlessly. Export-ready formatted records make sharing verified financial operational data simple for both internal lean improvement meetings and external ISO 9001 auditors visiting our Hannover facility.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

Native connectivity to our shop-floor CNC monitoring systems is very limited, forcing manual CSV imports to sync production run data. The default report templates lack German manufacturing cost structure formatting, requiring heavy edits for local ISO 9001 audit submissions. Mobile interface performance lags when checking maintenance costs on the factory floor.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use iplicit to centralize cost data, replacing disjointed systems and accelerating ISO 9001 audit trails. It streamlines expense tracking for machinery and audits, improves maintenance cost pinpointing, and facilitates flexible reporting for both internal and external reviews.

  ### 5. Excellent Support, Seamless Migration, and Strong Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina B. | School Business Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

The support team have been excellent in resolving queries and the team have found using the system easier and the performance of the system is excellent. I am looking forward to using the AI/Inttelligence areas in the future as we continue to use Iplicit. The integration of our data from the old system has been seemless and having access to the 'sandbox' environment is a great help. The pricing is within budget for all the areas we need covered by the system.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

nothing at the moment all is working well.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The team are able to do reconciliations for bank accounts and cards easily. We are hoping there will be less paper in the office as we can scan receipts and approvals into the system which will be easier for audits.

  ### 6. Efficient Multi-Entity Accounting, Needs Better Canadian Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Camposano S. | Senior Accountant & Financial Compliance Specialist, Accounting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

The instant real-time consolidation is my top pick—no more cross-referencing dozens of messy Excel files to combine subsidiary balances, which used to spawn miscalculations every month. Custom report builders let me craft ASPE-compliant financials and segmented GST/HST summaries fit for each client’s structure, all with permanent audit trails attached. Automated invoice matching also slashes hours of tedious manual AP data entry each week and lightens our year-end audit workload drastically.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

There’s zero pre-built template set for Canadian CRA T2 corporate returns, GST remittance forms or T4 payroll slips; I always have to manually rework exported data to meet filing standards. There are no out-of-box connectors for widely used Canadian payroll software like Payworks, forcing repetitive CSV imports that risk data mismatches. The advanced reporting module is unintuitive too, requiring lengthy one-on-one training for junior bookkeepers on our team.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before switching, we relied on old basic accounting software paired with stacks of disconnected spreadsheets for group consolidation, which brought frequent formula errors and dragged month-end close out for days. iplicit centralizes all entity transaction data, automates payable workflows and locks in audit-ready records. This stabilizes our ASPE reporting and cuts down the manual prep needed ahead of CRA tax submissions and external audits.

**Official Response from Beth Price:**

> Thank you for such a detailed review! It's great to hear that iplicit is helping streamline your reporting and AP work - and you no longer need to juggle messy spreadsheets every month. That's exactly the efficiencies we love to hear about. We appreciate your honest feedback on the gaps around Canadian-specific forms and payroll connectors - this is worth raising with your Customer Success Manager, as our analytics team may be able to explore custom reporting options to help support these requirements. We’ll pass on your feedback on the advanced reporting module to our product team too. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience.

  ### 7. Powerful Multi-Entity & Custom P&L Reporting at a Fraction of the Cost

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colin H. | CFO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

It enables reporting across all entities and allows custom set up for customer P&L reporting. when comparing to sage intact we found all the features but at a fraction of the cost.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

I think the bank feed could operate better and be more like a sage cloud or xero module. the current system is a bit clunky but does what it needs to do. For cash it should be more visual

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

before iplicit we needed to prepare monthly customer P&Ls across multiple legal entities. This was a massive headache and our previous system couldn't do it meaning a lot of excel work. with iplicit it is instantly available

  ### 8. Iplicit Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

Worker authorisation, plus the ability to structure transactions by cost centre, department and custom sub-attributes.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

The budget feature in Iplicit needs improvement. Currently, it doesn’t support restricting user access to departmental budgets when using a single master budget template with multiple cost or department centres linked to user data control groups (DCG). Instead, the system only works if individual budgets are uploaded for each department and then access restrictions are set per user group. With 25+ departments, this process of uploading separate budgets and configuring access based on DCGs is highly time‑consuming.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily at the reporting level, as it can record transactions by cost or department and allows for custom sub-groups. This enables drilling down variances to the invoice level, which is very helpful for FP&A roles.

**Official Response from Beth Price:**

> Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. It means a lot to hear iplicit is making a genuine difference for your reporting - and offers the detail an FP&A role needs.

We appreciate you sharing your frustration around the budget access process for larger, multi-department setups, and the extra time it can take for a business your size. We're continuing to work on improving this area of the product, and we're grateful for insight like yours that helps shape where we focus. Keep an eye out for our product updates - and don't forget you can submit any improvement ideas on the Feature Feedback Portal too.

  ### 9. Flexible, Easy to Use, and Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura O. | Finance Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

I really appreciate the system’s flexibility and the importance they place on meeting their customers’ needs. It’s easy to use, and I love that I can access it from any location. The support is also excellent - responsive, personal, and genuinely helpful.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

I genuinely can’t think of many downsides. I suppose that, because it’s still a relatively new product, there are a few small issues to iron out, but they don’t claim to be a finished product yet.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The automation features available have been a huge time-saver for me, and they’ve made my workflow much more efficient. Especially the integration with excel, which gives me the ability to create my suite of reports that update automatically from the system.

  ### 10. Great Customer Service and Ongoing Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashleigh M. | Finance Retail Business Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

From the outset, Iplicit provided significant support and clear guidance throughout the system implementation process. The transition was well organised and consistently supported, which made the switchover feel straightforward and manageable.
They demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous improvement, actively incorporating customer feedback and suggestions into their product roadmap. They are also open and transparent about upcoming developments and system enhancements.
Our Customer Relationship Manager, Mo Miah, has been exceptionally supportive and proactive, making the post-implementation process smooth and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

There are a few features we are still keen to see implemented in Iplicit. We have shared our feedback and requests in these areas and look forward to seeing how they may be incorporated in future developments.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, Iplicit has integrated two systems we previously used, saving us a significant amount of time. The automation the system offers has enabled our team to spend far less time on data entry and more time analysing the figures.

  ### 11. Great journal copying and prepayments, but needs search, reports, and a better dashboard

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

copy and pasting of journals, calculation of prepayments, connecting the iplicit inbox to our invoice email address

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

lack of search function, no creation of report option such as GL reportn, AI tool, wish there was prepayment for transactions on credit card and bank, lack of dashboard, alot of navigation to get to your desired area,no option to import from excel instead of typing each section, ye rollover to complex,When putting through a ICO bank transfer, we cannot alter the date

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the transaction side, less time spent,
copy and paste previous journals for the current month
automatic bank feed picked up for bank rec
add department to each transaction

  ### 12. Efficient Financial Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

I use iplicit for all my daily finance needs, including raising invoices, purchase invoices, sending reminder letters, and using bank feeds. I appreciate the AP automation and the importing function for mass journals and invoices. These features significantly reduce the amount of copying and pasting from external spreadsheets, leaving less room for error and increasing the efficiency of our work since we don't spend so much time on everything.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

Linking Google VIA SSO doesn't work well. The Parent/Child customer setup doesn't seem to serve a purpose. The consolidation features in the GL are lacking, making it hard to view multiple currencies at once. The intercompany matrix doesn't consolidate well, making it difficult to check balances because different currencies or exchange rates aren't easily visible.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use iplicit to automate AP and importing functions, reducing manual data entry. This minimizes errors and boosts our efficiency by saving time otherwise spent on cumbersome tasks.

  ### 13. Easy GL Drilldowns and Multi-Company Overview with Smooth Excel Exports

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle D. | Group Finance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

I like the fact you can drill down into numbers in the GL and then export to excel as needed.
I like the overview and being able to pick and choose which company I want to see. I like having the overview instead of having to log in and out of different entities.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

Parts of iplicit are overcomplicated.
The report designer is not user friendly at all. You do need a degree in coding to figure that out.
I don't like that you can't recode a transaction once it's been reconciled.
I don't like how it doesn't total certain lines on reports.
I don't like when one period is open, it's open for all companies on that period.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is definitely solving the multi-company issue in being able to view intercompany transactions.
It does save us in errors and having to recharge and check it's on the other side.
Saves us having to log in and out of the different entities.

  ### 14. Highly Customizable but Needs API Enhancements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deivids P. | Finance Systems Analyst, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

I like how iplicit handles the complexity and offers a range of features compared to other accounting platforms. It has vast customization options and custom interfaces, allowing us to build our system around our process. iplicit supports multi-entity reporting and consolidated reports, which is why we switched from Xero. The support team was helpful and set us up quickly despite our non-standard requests.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

The API is often very difficult to deal with. There are missing POST endpoints which means we can't create Purchase Invoices and auto allocate POs against them. This remains a very manual and time-intensive task. More endpoints for sales, purchases, and reconciliations are needed. The lack of API access makes the platform less automated and more reliant on manual posting and reviewing. API PO to invoice allocations would be amazing. It would also be great to connect other apps to the platform using the API, like 3rd party expense apps, workflow builders, Google Sheets, etc.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iplict solves our multi-entity reporting challenges, offering consolidated reports and streamlined reconciliations. It supports detailed imports and report exports, fitting perfectly into our financial processes.

  ### 15. Simple Month-End Automations That Save Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edward C. | Head of Finance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

Automations of month-end and simplicity of the platform

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

When Sandbox is carried over it makes SSO mandatory - we then have to contact support to remove this from the sandbox. Takes time for both us and Iplicit support

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Month-end was very manual, with automations in place it saves a lot of time. Will integrate with our BackOffice bringing more efficiencies.

  ### 16. Automation That Cuts Manual Workloads and Keeps Improving

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

Automation tools, such as OCR, workflows and document imports reduces manual workload. Iplicit are constantly looking for improvements and innovations to improve the customer experience.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

As a charity, there are improvements that could be made to the 'fund accounting' elements. The excel tool especially could be improved to allow multi-attribute budgets to be pulled directly from Iplicit in to excel.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transaction posting was previously undertaken by 2.5 FTE and is now largely done with just 1 FTE. Real-time reporting was not possible in our previous system but I can now see an up-to-date trial balance at any point in the month.

  ### 17. Bank Reconciliation Made Easy with Bank Feeds

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter D. | Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

I love the Bank Reconciliation. Bank feeds provides the statement & this is then so easy to match up on the reconciliation.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

I don't like the fact you can't write your own reports.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted a cloud based system that matched our requirements & Iplicit fitted this perfectly.

**Official Response from Beth Price:**

> Great to hear the bank feeds and reconciliation matching are working so well for you. We hear you on the report writing - iplicit Insights should help address this, so please reach out to your Customer Success Manager for more information. Thanks for sharing your experience, we're really pleased iplicit has been the right fit for your move to the cloud.

  ### 18. User-Friendly with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ekram M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

I like how iplicit is quite user friendly on the website. I appreciate just the look of the website in general. It's quite easy to navigate. It's quite easy to use when I'm looking for something. I like how on the side, it keeps your history, so if I open something, I can easily refer back to it with the bar on the left-hand side. If I ever want to go back to something, it's quite easy to go back to.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

The expenses app is not very user friendly. We have a lot of complaints from claimants trying to navigate it.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use iplicit for our accounting system. It helps us with record-keeping, journal entries, tracking expenditures and income, and allows claimants to submit expenses. The website is user-friendly and easy to navigate.

  ### 19. Great features and always adding new features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

The fact that it is cloud based and very easy to use/navigate. Being able to add attachments/backup workings and paper work to each transaction has been a massive help, especially for the year end audit. Also means no need to print everything out.
They have very regular webinars highlighting new features and how to use Iplicit better.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

Some of the tick boxes are very small and would be better bigger or be able to click whole line and not jus in a very small box.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iplicit can handle partial exemption from VAT which has saved alt of time each quarter.
I also use the budgeting and forecasting feature which aids monthly management reporting.
I am about to also use the new app for expense submission which we will roll out to some new users to help them save time.

  ### 20. Flexible, Easy to Navigate, and Backed by Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

The system is flexible and it's easy to find information. The automated processes are usefull. The support after going live has been excellent

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

We haven't come across anything that we really dislike, as with all systems there are things that require us to adjust slightly how we work but nothing detrimental to us working normally

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of finding information for reporting to management

  ### 21. Efficient, Cross-Platform Solution with Room for Report Improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neil L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

I truly appreciate the speed, ease of use, and flexibility that iPlicit offers. Being able to quickly and efficiently drill down into all aspects of our profit and loss is invaluable, especially during our monthly directors' accounts meetings. This software makes these typically complex meetings much more manageable. I also find that iPlicit works seamlessly across multiple platforms and sites, enhancing our ability to generate more granular profit and loss documents efficiently. Furthermore, iPlicit excels in managing our asset register with impressive precision, which is crucial for our company operations.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

I find the report/enquiries setup a little confusing. Getting the information I need should be easier, and printing should be more widely supported. I wish there was just one report section where each report could be outputted as a PDF or Excel sheet. Additionally, the initial setup of iplicit was much harder than anticipated because we didn't realize it would be so customized to our needs.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use iplicit for company accounts, asset management, stock, and invoicing. It works great across platforms/sites, providing granular profit and loss documents and effective asset register management, making monthly directors' meetings easy.

  ### 22. Easy to Navigate, Helpful New How-To Guides

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

I like how easy it is to navigate, and the recently released how-to guides have been a great help as well.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

Honestly, it’s mainly the look of the screens. Even though you can change the colours, they still feel a bit dated.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had an extreamly old system and since we have grown and aquired businesses it has been helpful having everything in one place.

**Official Response from Beth Price:**

> Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. It's great to hear you're finding iplicit easy to navigate, and we're really pleased the new how-to guides are already proving useful. We appreciate your feedback on the look and feel of the screens - it's something we're actively working on. We're delighted to hear iplicit is helping as you grow and acquire new business - thanks again for being part of the iplicit community.

  ### 23. Clear, Well-Organized UI That’s Easy to Navigate

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

User interface clear and areas grouped in a logical way - easy to navigate

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

Having to refresh certain pages - e.g. on sending invoices to AI they do not just pop up ...

On opening an attached invoice it is not easy to see the data entry screen underneath the attachment (Purchases)

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves time for me keying invoices - and having coding in the supplier record which then populates on the invoices saves me having to check codings each time

  ### 24. Strong Excel-Based Reporting, but Missing Some Handy Xero-Style Statement Features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

Good reporting capabilities, familiarity as it is excel based, the fact that we can be very specific about which contacts receive which document type.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

On the customer side, I find that it is lacking in some features that we previously had in Xero. Such as, the ability to create an activity statement between specific dates, the fact that statements don't have the customer name and date in the title. Small things but they were useful.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main benefit I can see personally is that we have several debtors control accounts, to reflect the different aspects of our business, and I can advise heads of department on the debts that relate specifically to their department. Reporting on this is much easier than it was previously and it has made a big difference to the effectiveness of my role (Credit Controller).

  ### 25. Iplicit: Flexible, Straightforward, and Easy to Correct Mistakes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barbara S. | Finance assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

I use Iplicit on a daily basis, and it is a very flexible system. It is very straightforward to use, and any mistaken postings or journals are very easy to correct.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

I haven’t experienced any issues with the system, nothing significant enough to be a concern.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The support is very good. I usually contact them by email, and issues are resolved quickly. For more complex problems, they clearly explain the issue and provide timelines for resolution.

  ### 26. Feature-Rich, User-Friendly, and Seamlessly Integrated Cloud Accounting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

This cloud software is easy to use yet powerful, offering a wide range of accounting, commercial, and project accounting features. Each upgrade introduces new and valuable functionalities, such as AP automation, Go Cardless integration, and a user-friendly mobile app for managing expenses. The implementation process is well-structured, providing ample time for user testing and for building or configuring your sandbox environment. Going live is straightforward and thoroughly tested, with your implementation consultant carefully reviewing the system before you begin entering your first transactions. The open API makes integration with other systems easy, we have integrated our CRM system into our Iplicit system for example. Support from Iplicit has been great with quick response times and accurate information.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

I don't have any specific complaints about the software. I do hope that future versions will offer more variety in the Dashboards, as that would be a welcome improvement. It appears that the system is being actively developed, and in my experience, Iplicit stands out as a feature-rich option compared to other systems.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Iplicit to manage deferred and recurring income and billing. Project analysis is crucial for our operations, and Iplicit makes it easy to enter timesheets, expenses, orders, and invoices directly against projects. The option to use the API for integrations has greatly simplified our business processes. AP automation has saved us countless hours of work and helped reduce errors. Bank Feeds and auto-reconciliation are essential features for any system, but I particularly appreciate how Iplicit implements this functionality. Having a streamlined general ledger, combined with the ability to tag transactions using attributes, has truly transformed how we analyze our costs and revenue streams.

  ### 27. Detailed Insights, But Needs Better Automation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abi B.

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

I value the ability to analyze accounting transactions down to the smallest detail and appreciate the workflow approval process. Each business area can easily review its financial position and performance by running reports with a range of attributes that deliver meaningful insights and support improved future performance.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

I do not like that Iplicit lacks the ability to automate the running of reports. The system would benefit from a stronger library of ready-built, adaptable standard reports. It also does not offer payroll services or support the automatic processing of bank statements into the general ledger. The initial setup was challenging and was not designed to support the production of management accounts in the manner preferred by the Board. A more thorough approach should have been adopted. We required a custom tree reporting structure rather than a dynamic one; however, the solution was implemented with insufficient time to address this adequately. Additionally, the budget-setting functionality requires improvement, as the current process is cumbersome and inefficient.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iplicit to record accounting transactions and produce management accounts for Board review. It provides detailed transaction-level analysis, enabling valuable insights into performance and supporting future improvements.

  ### 28. Effortless Navigation and Cloud Flexibility Make iplicit a Standout

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

Ease of use is most important to me as I can spend quite a lot of time in ipliciy even though I am not in a Finance function within my business. I find it easy to navigate to what I want, and when I find the information I need, its clear, precise and most important, correct! There is that magic button which shows you everything, so you can rarely 'get lost' within the system.

Cloud Native is a big plus, work from anywhere, anytime.

Customer support is very responsive, for the very infrequent times I have needed it.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

Nothing so far! I am about 6 months in and all is well.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better forecasting and budgeting, ease of use - its not a task you complain about, logging into iplicit! Integration with our CRM cuts down time and effort, allowing me to concentrate on my actual role within the organisation.

  ### 29. Intuitive Interface with Room for Growth

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

Iplicit is incredibly easy to use. The interface is intuitive, logical, and quick to learn, which makes day-to-day processing far smoother than legacy systems. Their customer support is excellent with fast responses, knowledgeable staff, and a willingness to actually solve problems rather than bounce tickets around. I also really value how forward-thinking the company is, there’s a clear commitment to continuous improvement and delivering new features that genuinely push the product forward.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

The biggest weakness is reporting and enquiries because they’re far too static and lack the flexibility needed for complex organisations. The Excel add-in should be a powerful tool, but in reality it’s overly technical, unintuitive, and frustrating to work with.. The current mobile app for expenses is also poor, though I know a replacement is in development. Overall, I just wish the system gave more freedom in how data can be extracted, shaped, and queried.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iplicit has significantly improved our efficiency and streamlined our internal processes. We manage a wide and complex range of funds, and Iplicit makes this considerably clearer and easier to control compared to previous systems. The structure, workflow options, and general usability have strengthened our financial operations and I have confidence in the information provided and the businesses processes developed.

  ### 30. Efficient Accounting Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shayne S.

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

I like iplicit for its AP automation, which is a good way to record expenditure and saves me time. The consolidated accounts feature is also time-saving and reduces manual work. I find the ease of importing and exporting data very beneficial, especially when we raise monthly journals. Using journal templates helps to reduce manual input time as well.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

I find the direct debit collections process not easy to use. The screens for processing are complicated, and there isn't a clear process. Also, the direct debit process was not smooth and took a long time.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use iplicit for accounting tasks like raising invoices and recording expenses. It saves time with AP automation, reduces manual work with consolidated accounts, and simplifies data handling with easy importing and exporting, especially using journal templates.

  ### 31. Great software and always improving

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

Easy to Use - Great Functions - Excellent Support - Continually Improving

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

The approval process needs alot of improvement

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The addition of AI is brilliant, it often saves a visit to support

**Official Response from Tracy Payne:**

> It's wonderful to hear that you're finding iplicit easy to use with great functionality, and we're particularly pleased that our support team has made such a positive impression. Knowing that you see us as continually improving really motivates us to keep pushing forward with new features and enhancements.

Your point about some functions needing more setup and understanding - like approval processes and budgets - is really valuable feedback. These are powerful features, but we recognise they can have a learning curve, so we're glad that our team was on hand to support with your approval process implementation.

Thanks for taking the time to share such positive feedback - reviews like this really make our day!

  ### 32. Great accounting software for SMEs who need more than Xero, but not as much as the big boys.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve F. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

This is a web-based finance software that operates on Azure. It is user-friendly and includes all the essential features you would typically find as add-ons in products like Sage 50 or Xero.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

So far, there hasn't been any manufacturing capability available. However, we addressed this issue by integrating Cin7, which provided a solution.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s convenient to have a single system that manages all our finance needs, including timesheets and staff expenses. The platform also features integrated business reporting, which is very useful. Additionally, it offers contracts and recurring billing functionalities. The project accounting tools, especially the WIP tracking, are valuable for our operations.

  ### 33. Seamless Integrations That Connect All Our Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel H. | Finance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

Integration with other platforms and software

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

It can be a bit hard to navigate when you’re new to it.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer payments

  ### 34. Streamlines Finance with Intuitive Automation

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John C. | Human Resource manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

I like how intuitive and easy to use iplicit is compared to other accounting systems. I love how it automates the 'boring' parts of the work to streamline workflow. It brings ease of use, leading to less frustration and faster work, and the automation of routine tasks saves me hours, allowing me to focus on more important matters. It helps in reducing heavy workload.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

I struggle with the custom report templates because they're not flexible enough. It's hard to design the exact report I need sometimes. Also, the initial setup was a bit hectic due to the learning curve.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use iplicit for multi-currency accounting and automating finance workflows. It solves the stress of manual spreadsheets by automating tasks and unifying financial processes. I like how intuitive it is, saving me hours by automating routine tasks, making work faster and reducing workload.

  ### 35. Strong Partnership with Excellent Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** mike c.

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

I like the reporting functionality available with iplicit and the people we deal with on a regular basis. The reporting is a great selling point, and the people make it easy to partner with iplicit. Even though there's a steep learning curve, we are finding the setup to be a positive experience.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

For the most part, the majority of the experience is good. There are some areas that could be improved within the application - CIS, workflow options and management and the company is growing so quickly, it can feel sometimes that we don't know everything we might need to. With everything there is a steep learning curve.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iplicit is a robust solution we confidently sell to clients, offering great reporting as a selling point, and the people make it easy to partner with.

  ### 36. Iplicit use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

The layout of Iplicit is very intuitive and easy to navigate once you have the very basic of understanding. The vast majority of related functions are clearly kept in the same area.
Iplicit is also greatly adaptable, allowing multiple different users to have multiple different access levels, both in terms of what they can see and what they can do (Data Entry Control and Data Access Control)

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

Not so much a dislike, more a frustration. Iplicit is so adaptable and has so many reports/enquiries, that sometimes it is hard to find the right report/enquiry. It is not always easy to know whether you should be looking for a report or an enquiry and it would, perhaps be easier, if they were all in one area, regardless of their type.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iplicit has allowed us to clearly split the Revenue and Costs of the business between the multiple different aspects of it, meaning that we can now product P&L's for every level of the business.
Iplicit is also helping us keep track of all the assets that the business has, from acquisition, through depreciation and onto disposal, by clearly linking all costs of the asset in the Projects section and also the Assets section.

  ### 37. Exceptional Partner, Reliable Platform, Great Company Culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris C. | CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

The company culture is second to none, working with them as a partner has been an easy and dare I say it enjoyable process. This is rare in the world of accounting software!
Support communication has been responsive, and we’ve collaboratively established a clear and aligned definition of success for both organisations.
Integrating was easy and has proved reliable for our customers.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

There isn't really much to dislike from an integration/partner perspective.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a responsive partner for our Enterprise Rental ERP solution to integrate with. Iplicit has been making inroads into our sector of equipment rental companies and having this integration has enabled us to onboard more customers and given existing customers with legacy financial products a clear path to migrate to.

  ### 38. Great features and customer support, some improvements welcome.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

The reporting capabilities using cost centres, departments and custom fields is a key strength of Iplicit, this has come in useful for a business as niche and complex as ours. I like how the customer/supplier views are clear and easy to understand, and also how almost every page in Iplicit can be exported to excel by the click of a button. The Authorisation workflows are also a great help and are simple to setup.

I also appreciate the weekly webinars which helps to outline new features and enables us to ask any questions, to ensure that we are getting the best out of the system. The support throughout the implementation was great, with lots of session to show us the system, some areas were re-visited further down the line. Our customer success executive, Mo, listens to our questions / needs and follows up on these, he has been a great help in navigating Iplicit.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

Some efficiency improvements would be welcome, for example contact details auto-populating for invoices, as we currently send around 10,000 invoices per year, all of which are being sent individually rather than in bulk, due to this.

From the customer side, being able to produce an activity statement would be useful, as some customers request this, rather than having to manually export the account to excel to produce one.

Although when we receive responses to support tickets they are considered and helpful, there have been multiple occasions where we have waited several weeks for a response, I appreciate this was a time when your team was growing and I hope this has now improved.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iplicit has solved the issue of having different contacts for different services for the same customer, by using the document types, ensuring the correct contact receives the correct communications, improving our customer service; being able to store multiple communication templates has enabled to send individual invoices efficiently for different situations; authorisation workflows has allowed us to have a formal procedure for authorising purchase invoices for payment with a clear audit trail, as well as authorising business and credit card expenditure; and using projects has enabled us to move away from separate spreadsheets and use Iplicit for tracking time spent on specific jobs and allocate documents to this, to track spending and ensure invoices have been raised / tracking profitability per project.

  ### 39. A huge step forward in functionality and efficiency for Accounts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma J. | Head of Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

The search functions, the ability to type the names of accounts/products/suppliers/departments instead of having to know the coding, and the AP automation have all been significant time savers to our purchase invoice processing as well as enabling us to put in all the detail from invoices and attach the documents quickly. Daily bank reconciliations are also very quick and easy.

Using unlimited department codes and cost centres has given us the ability for maximum slicing and dicing of data, enabling us to produce more helpful information to senior management to use in key decision making.

Its also so intuitive. Our new starter and our auditors have both been able to begin using iplicit straight away with only a brief tour.

Customer service is next level - we utilise the help function in iplicit as well as the knowledge base (FAQs), training videos and webinars in the support portal. When we cannot find the solution ourselves, we raise a ticket and the response has always been very clear instructions with screenshots that have made it really easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

Despite adequate warning from the iplicit team, the build and configuration phases were quite labour intensive and hard to make time for each week in an Accounts team of 3.

This was particularly intensive around preparing data from our legacy system to import, and this (along with 1 erroneous instruction from a single iplicit developer who no longer works there) lead to a mistake resulting in us bringing forward our old chart of accounts instead of a nice tidy new once.

There have been no other issues or disappointments, but we are looking forward to seeing an improved function for building reports coming in the next few months.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We primary moved from Sage 50 to Iplicit for the unlimited department and cost centre codes, so that we can better work out profitability of different elements of the business. However we're also benefiting from better accuracy so we are less likely to post and pay invoices incorrectly or duplicate them. Whilst we're not saving lots of time, we are expanding our functionality.

We're also sending customised sales invoices out from the system directly, reducing the manual/excel work we were doing which were again subject to error and then needed reflecting on the accounts software afterwards which was not always able to be done in a timely fashion.

  ### 40. Iplicit: Easy to Use with Truly Helpful Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

Iplicit is very easy to use and support have always been very helpful in dealing with queries

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

I have not got anything that I dislike with Iplicit as I believe it is a very good platform to use

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have processing problems that Iplicit is currently dealing with and it should help with operating smoothly in the future

  ### 41. User friendly, very easy to learn and use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

Iplicit is a very good system which allows me to find exactly what I am looking for within a few clicks which is what makes it so user friendly. One of my favourite features is that you very rarely need to start something from scratch whether that be creating a purchase/sales invoice or posting a journal, you can very easily copy what has been done previous and update dates which is something that saves me a lot of time daily.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

In my experience I wouldn't say iplicit has any downsides, other than at the beginning of our time using iplicit when we still had quite a number of queries, the customer support department took an excessive amount of time to respond to our queries, however more recently they seem to respond within a day or two so this no longer seems to be an issue.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is fairly quickly to set up bulk payments which is something I do more or less on the daily within my role. Before using iplicit there was a very long winded and old fashioned manual process to be followed to allow me to set up bulk payments however iplicit has made this a task I no longer dread to do.

  ### 42. Future proofing financial reporting needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

Two main functions have transformed our financial analytics - project accounting and our customised credit control and customer contact and debtor functionality. I like the flexibility and the willingness to work with us as a customer to achieve optimum usage. We have been using Iplicit for less than a year and are now starting to see process efficiencies and much improved reporting. It's easy to use and has some excellent features such as notes and comments to attach.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

During implementation the Iplicit team struggled to support us with our customer contacts set up and the bespoke nature of this part of our system. I don't feel the Project Management and training was co-ordinated and we were left chasing on answers for many weeks which held us back and frustrated the team. I don't like the trial balance reporting as it's not strictly a TB. We send thousands of invoices and one frustration is that we still have to manually select contact for sales invoices when this is auto-populated for credit notes and orders.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project reporting for all our sustainability consultancy work. Enhanced analytics and we have set up an auto reporting of milestones and project completion data which will transform our resource planning.
Iplicit is solving our multiple sales invoice and customer contact issue as we have set up distinct document types so that we can allocate contacts to each service area. This has much improved our customer service.
We have been able to provide debtor analytics by service area which is fundamental to our business as it forms a crucial part of our compliance scheme registration for our members.

  ### 43. Amazing customisation and reporting detail however more training opportunities!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bethany W. | Senior Finance Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

I really like how customisable iplicit is, specifically tailored reports and dashboards. I also appreciate the level of detail you can drill down into for each transaction, using cost centres, departments, and even custom attributes. Finally, I find it incredibly helpful how easy it is to schedule and automate tasks. I also value the regular Customer Success Calls we have.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

Overall, I like Iplicit, but there are a few areas where it could be improved. For instance, it would be helpful if users could view the 'wishlist.' Additionally, I wish there was an option to add suggestions for features that aren't necessarily related to issues or support tickets, but are simply nice-to-have enhancements. Another improvement would be the ability to complete learning modules for a deeper understanding of Iplicit. While the system offers a lot of functionality, the current training documents and videos mostly cover only the basics. For example, something similar to the 'Xero Advisor' Programme would be beneficial. I often learn a lot in the webinars but it makes me question what else i am missing!

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time savings! Customisation of sending invoices to different contacts dependant on the document type and some tasks are much more automated using the scheduler!

  ### 44. Empowers Finance Teams with Practical, Powerful Functionality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Helen W. | Head of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

iplicit does a great job of supporting finance leaders as their organisations scale. It brings structure, control and confidence into reporting and decision-making without feeling over-engineered, which is exactly what many mid-sized finance teams need.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

N/A at this stage - from a partner perspective.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iplicit solves the challenge many mid-market finance teams face when they outgrow spreadsheets or legacy systems but don’t want unnecessary complexity. By providing clearer structure, better reporting and more confidence in the numbers, it helps finance leaders operate more effectively as their organisations scale. From a partner perspective, this means smoother implementations, faster adoption and the ability to focus on delivering real outcomes rather than managing workarounds.

  ### 45. Modern, Cloud-Based Financial Software That Delivers 24/7 Accessibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve H. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

Iplicit offers a modern fresh approach to Financial Software in a crowded marketplace. Being specifically built for the cloud means that is is fully accessible 24/7 across all devices.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

It would help customers at our level to have awareness of Iplicit Software - maybe Iplicit need to work a little harder at getting the name and brand out there?

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being cloud-based users have access to it 24/7 from anywhere in the world with internet access. The multiple nominal ledger analysis layers provide the reporting that end users needs and the in-built workflows across all araas provide another level of control that ?i have rarely seen in products at this level.

  ### 46. Efficient, Cost-Saving Accounting with Seamless Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris G. | ERP Sales

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

I find the reporting out of the box to be absolutely brilliant with iplicit. The dashboards and other features give me an overview of exactly what I need for my role in the business, right at my fingertips. The initial setup was very fast compared to other solutions I've evaluated, and the consultants were really helpful. We also have a seamless integration with SIN 7, which links our inventory and manufacturing efficiently.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

I think that perhaps the interface could be a little bit more modern and up to date.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use iplicit instead of Sage 200 to save on costs and access it anywhere, providing better security and backups.

  ### 47. Streamline processes but also time consuming tasks.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

There are many functionalities which Iplicit has to offer and it streamlines certain processes. Some examples of these are the prepayments and deferred income - they are very simple and reduce admin each month.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

It can sometimes overcomplicate tasks and be a little bit more time consuming such as, the invoices require multiple clicks to get the invoice on screen. It would be better if this was always on show to refer to when coding it. It also doesn't accept word documents which some customers do use. This makes the purchase invoices slower.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has made tracking prepayments and deposits much easier and has now allowed some of my time to be consumed on other areas. It also has many import features which reduce a great amount of time being spent on tasks as well as increasing accuracy.

  ### 48. Very happy using Iplicit

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

We find we are benefiting from many of Iplicit's features, we have multiple companies and Iplicit allows us to move run our accounts system much more smoothly.

In our previous accounts program each company was managed separately which meant that when producing reports for a group, we had to log in to each company in turn which was very time consuming. Iplicit will allow us to filter reports by company so we can group as we wish or select an individual company.

The import function allows us to import from excel, we currently use this feature to import our takings records, journals and also bulk invoicing lists. Once set up this is a smooth process.

I like that you can set up journal templates and quick access templates for frequent transactions.

The build period was very involved but necessary to build a tailored program and I would suggest managing time strictly to ensure tasks are completed on time. Charissa and Katie were supportive and informative throughout.

Once built, Iplicit was relatively easy to navigate around and me and my colleagues soon got used to the processes although very different to our previous program.

The monthly webinars are very informative and useful to watch back for guidance on specific topics.

Ongoing support from both our customer success manager Mo and the support team through the portal is great and very reliable.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

It would be very helpful to be able to recode an invoice (purchase and sales) at any time. At present you can unpost an invoice and edit but not once it has been included in a vat return, amending the account code would not change the vat values but would ensure that our management reports reflect the correct analysis.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main benefit is time saving and the management of accurate records.

  ### 49. Easy to use with number of features can be designed specifically for your needs.

**What do you like best about iplicit?**

There number of benefits of using iplicit are obvious, first of all so easy to use, integration is perfect, simple to navigate, read, you can customise it for yourself. The first impression might be wrong, what happened in my case but when iplicit implemented in our organisation and i have started to use it more and more definitely changed my opinion and i truly believe this is one of the best database i have used in last 14 years. I am using database on daily basis and the best thing about iplicit, it does help you to stay as efficient as possible, save time on doing day to day tasks. Customer Support always available in case you need advice with anything.

**What do you dislike about iplicit?**

maybe some of the functions might not be available to support the business needs straight away.

**What problems is iplicit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help storing required data attached to transactions or invoices so no need to look at backups somewhere else outside of iplicit, always easy to access or find information you or someone might be after, very simple just in one click.
In case of error occurred making any corrections is quick and simple. Iplicit help save a huge amount of time with daily/monthly tasks.
