What do you like best about iorad?

What do you like best about iorad?

Easy to navigate, love the extension for Chrome that lets you quickly begin any tutorial, ability to edit is wonderful. Love the fact that the user can print out the directions if needed as well. The masking feature is great for sensitive material and really enjoy the fact that you can require the user to entire an exact phrase or identifier in order to move forward in the tutorial, for additional retention. What do you dislike about iorad?

Occasionally, the program will stall on certain web pages and has a few bugs that prevent click recording, which causes the user to have to re-do the entire tutorial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is iorad solving and how is that benefiting you?

Iorad has improved company training retention ten-fold -- we use it to teach complicated database use that would otherwise need to be completed via a video demonstration. This not only shows the user how to complete each task, but helps with learning since they are completing the actions themselves. Our webmaster has been using it and demoed it for me. I asked for a license and I now have a license from our Region 10 ESC to use iorad. I will start using iorad to convert my documentation repositories into iorad help. I can see this tool taking documentation to the next level of improving the end product created for users. What problems is iorad solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am going to create several hundred iorad helps from the documents I have created in Google to improve our Customer and company Staff comprehension of our systems. "Effective tool for on demand tutorials"

What do you like best about iorad?

- Quick to 'record' a tutorial

- Drag and drop UI makes it easy to add annotations such as callouts

- Good solution if you don't have video production resources, or would like to incorporate more varied learning content in your LMS courses

- Appreciate the ability to turn on text-to-speech to make the iorad widgets more accessible, and also lightens the production load. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iorad?

- The Chrome plugin tends to be buggy, so I always need to use the desktop app

- Recording can sometimes take some getting used to as the flow and experience is different for folks who are more familiar with recording training videos.

- Help Center resources are a bit scarce so getting up and running can take a bit of trial and error. However, once you have created a few Iorad components, then the flow is much smoother.

- The embedded Iorad widget branding options are a bit light, and would benefit from more customization ability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is iorad solving and how is that benefiting you?

Creating and maintaining new training videos can be costly and time consuming. In addition, learnings can get fatigued of watching multiple videos consecutively. Iorad gives us the ability to offer more varied learning content in our LMS and also more easily refresh content. This frees up our resources and allows our lean team to produce more content. "Using Iorad simulations to enhance my training lessons."

I am able to navigate through our portals to show different ways to use our products. The simulations are very easy to complete and provide step by step instructions along with voice commentary. Hi Kathy - thanks for this great review. If you would like the learner's text to be validated in the type field before advancing the tutorial, double click in the type field while in the iorad editor then type in the text you'd like the learner to type. It will need to be exactly as you typed for the player to advance them to the next step. We also have a "Case" sensitive option as well. Hope this helps. :)

What do you like best about iorad?

I find the process of capturing, converting, and editing a tutorial very simple. I also deeply appreciate that it is free from the start (as long as your tutorials are public). We've heard positive feedback from some users about the interactivity of the tutorial, allowing them to type, click, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iorad?

There are some actions that the software has some trouble picking up, like scrolling. Sometimes, too, the static image iorad picks up shows a button mid-way through it's hover state instead of at it's final one. These are both minor things that can easily be worked around.
