I am disappointed with my experience trying to purchase IONOS 1&1 Domains and hosting's Professional Email Mail 25 plan. What should have been a simple purchase turned into a complicated process involving an unexplained cancellation, conflicting information from support, unclear verification requirements, and rejection of documents I provided. I received an order confirmation but then an email saying my order couldn't be completed without any clear explanation or instructions for next steps. Contacting customer support was frustrating due to inconsistent information. Initially, I was told I could reorder, but later was informed I needed to provide proof of identity and address. The lack of clear communication from IONOS about document requirements was particularly frustrating since my submitted documents were rejected without clear reasons. I understand the need for verification, but it should be communicated clearly upfront. I ended up wasting time trying to resolve an unnecessary and poorly handled process. IONOS is a predatory company. IONOS have made their cancellation process extremely difficult and convoluted, and they use that to "un-cancel" and auto-renew your contracts without warning or notification. What I like best about IONOS is the clean and simple dashboard. Even if you are not highly technical, you can navigate easily, set up your domain, email, or hosting without stress. IONOS customer service is beyond useless. Our company purchased Microsoft 365 through IONOS. We immediately began having issues. It has not worked correctly once in the entire time we've had it. Contacting IONOS support, they said we have to contact Microsoft. They gave us the number. Calling that number pushes us to a website, which in turn tells us we have to use IONOS support since we purchased it through IONOS. And it gives us the IONOS support number. For 3 weeks, I've been calling about 2FA errors. Today, I spent five hours on the phone. Three times, IONOS insisted I contact Microsoft. I was even told what I had just experienced had not happened. I asked for the call to be escalated to a supervisor. One agent flat out refused. Two others insisted supervisors were not available.

Our 2FA still is not working, and here is the best part: They kept insisting I had to log into the global administrator account to fix the problem. I told them, repeatedly, over...and over...and over...again I *was* logged into the global administrator account. When, at last, the agent accepted I was logged into the GAA, she then said "Now disabled 2FA." Um...where? How? What do I click on. "You just click on it to disable it."

We are a VPS client and have several VPS servers with them. One of our servers have gone down since more than 48 hours now. We reported it hours after we saw that we can not connect to the server in any way. They said it's a networking issue on their end. 48+ hours since then, they have not yet fixed it. Three of our main websites (one SAAS platform) is down due to this. Already called more than 10 times. They can't or do not want to fix it. Either way makes IONOS unreliable to do business. On January 25, 2022 I received a notice that my account is suspended "Due to international sanctions against Russia and the Russian-occupied territories in Ukraine"

I am Ukrainian. Our country is fighting for our freedom against a brutal russian invasion. And instead of the support - they blocked my domain and my business, which help my family to survive.

The only option they suggested is to ask for the authorization code to transfer domain. I did that on January 26 but I still don't have anything. Their support is useless, they send me from one to another and every time asking me to provide the same information like domain name, which I obviously provided at least three times. Taking into account a several days response for every email we have over two weeks of delay.

My business stopped. I can't operate my business and feed my family. I also lose business because of SEO penalties etc... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
