What do you like best about iObeya?

Feeling of ubiquity when one needs to simunalteously manage remote teams working on the same project.

Easy to setup and grasp, with a nice feeling of cleanliness and organization.

Great start with new features supporting integrations with Azure DevOps and Jira, to avoid duplication of information.

As a SAFe Release Train Engineer, this tool helped saving my PI planning and following execution, with distributed teams and people working from home.

What do you dislike about iObeya?

I don't see any significant downside which is not being addressed with the incoming releases.

Simple to use although powerful and. Flexible

start small and simple, then increase complexity

it is sometimes difficult for people to understand the benefits of iobeya without trying. so make them try and then they understand.

What do you like best about iObeya?

The possibility of working remotely, with multiple people on the same board. The interaction between the cards. The customization of the panels. The administration of the platform is easy to use. The consolidation of data in the QCD module. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iObeya?

Not being able to use iObeya on a smartphone or tablet... but this issue will soon be resolved. Lack of KPI/statistics in the Administrator platform: to have a view on licenses/users, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering iObeya:

The boards created in iObeya are accessible to those who have their own company computers or laptops. For shopfloor personnel who needs to access to iObeya, a big touch screen TV may be required to digitalize the boards useable by shopfloor personnel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is iObeya solving and how is that benefiting you?

Real-time updates of the visual boards can be made possible, where multiple members are allowed to access and update different part of the boads. Virtual meetings and performance tracking are much easier now compared to the past. Some specialized tool such iDCM really saves a lot of time in set-up, maintenance and update of the board and its elements. What do you like best about iObeya?

As the RTE, I immediately started seeing delivery patterns that previously had gone unnoticed. Additionally, the Program Board enables teams to illustrate dependencies and timelines, call out risks, and allow smoother delivery through understanding and clarity. The Portfolio board view highlights the need for collaboration with other members of our Value Stream to ensure alignment and reflects gaps in process. And finally, the iObeya support team is very responsive and provides detailed solutions with helpful visuals and instruction. I highly recommend this product. What do you dislike about iObeya?

It can take a while to get used to zooming in and out on the boards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is iObeya solving and how is that benefiting you?

iObeya reflected gaps in the epic definition and analysis process as we used the Portfolio Kanban, and we were able to identify areas of improvement in collaboration to prepare our scope better and understand/align on the timelines. Shifting from visual management with whiteboards to virtual boards in order to reduce Covid risk, eliminate wasted time moving data between physical whiteboards and make the escalation process more efficient.
