Transforms Marketing Collaboration with Powerful Strategy and KPI Tools **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Anita P. | Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2025 **What do you like best about iObeya?** For my marketing strategy work, I really like iobeya. Some of our team members work from home, while others work from the office. Before iobeya, we had to keep all of our plans in separate emails, Excel sheets, and PowerPoint files. It was a big mess. We now have one "digital room" for marketing. Strategy Cascade: The best thing is to link our strategy to our work. I put all of our main Marketing OKRs on one board. Next, we link these OKRs to our campaign plans and kanban boards. Everyone knows why they are doing their job. Dashboards for Key Performance Indicators The Power BI integration is great. I connect our campaign data, and we see live KPIs (leads, CPL, traffic) inside our iobeya room. You don't need to check ten tools. Structure: It has more structure than other whiteboard tools. It feels professional and is great for running big projects and weekly review meetings. **What do you dislike about iObeya?** There are two or three things I don't like. This is the main issue: customer support. Support takes a long time. Support is only by email. We had one problem with integration, and it took three days to get a good answer. For a tool we use every day, not having live chat is very bad. Not for Creatives: My design team isn't happy. They say it's "not like Figma or Miro." It doesn't work well for mood boards, brainstorming, or mapping out a customer's journey. The templates are very "lean" and business-like, not for creative marketers. It feels a little stiff. Cost: The website doesn't make it clear how much things cost. We needed to talk to the sales team. It feels quite costly, maybe too much for small teams. **What problems is iObeya solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main problem we solved was getting our remote team on the same page. Before, no one was sure what the most important thing was. We had a lot of meetings just to check in on things. Now, thanks to iobeya, everyone can see the whole marketing plan in one place. I make a board for our main plan for the next six months. After that, we used Kanban to connect boards for each campaign (SEO, Content, Paid Ads). The benefit is very big. We save a lot of time. Our meetings once a week go faster. I just open our iobeya room, check the KPI dashboard, and move the cards around. We can see who is doing what and if we are on track to reach our goals. It has cut down on confusion and a lot of pointless emails. ### 2. iObeya Makes Tracking KPIs and Team Collaboration Effortless **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Anant K. | Sales Development Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025 **What do you like best about iObeya?** In my position as a Sales Development Representative, my job is simply to book meetings. The sales manager recently introduced the team to a platform called iObeya, and I enjoy using the platform for our meetings each day in the morning. We created a room in iObeya specifically for people in the Sales Development team, and the manager has built out an area that includes a large scoreboard that lists all of our KPIs. It means that I can quickly see my name, the number of calls I have made, emails sent, meetings booked that week, etc. I like the presentation of the information in this format much more than our previous way of tracking it in a spreadsheet. It is a much clearer way to track how I feel about my performance and the work I am doing. **What do you dislike about iObeya?** Okay, so the thing that bugs me most about iObeya? It feels like just one more thing piled on top of all the other stuff I'm already doing. I'm in sales, so I live in Salesforce, Salesloft, and LinkedIn every day. My boss will sometimes ask me to change the iObeya board, but I’ve already typed all that info into Salesforce. Doing it twice gets old fast, mostly since the Salesforce sync is hit or miss. Honestly, It would be great if anything new I put in my CRM just showed up on the iObeya card like magic. Having to do the same work twice is what gets to me most. **What problems is iObeya solving and how is that benefiting you?** iObeya really helps us deal with our remote team setup. Back when we were all in the same office, we used big whiteboards to watch our sales. Since we're now in different cities, iObeya is kinda like our online whiteboard. It's cool because everyone can easily see that I'm hitting my goals, and my boss knows where I am with everything. Our daily meetings are now quicker and get right to the point. We just look at the board, check numbers, pass on good news, and then get back to work. We don't have to sit through super long meetings now. It really keeps our team on the same page. ### 3. I appreciate that it serves as a large digital wall, much like our office whiteboard but accessible on the computer. Since our team works remotely, this feature is especially useful. We can organize all our project cards, sticky notes, and tasks together in one virtual room. iObeya works well for our weekly sprint planning sessions. The project manager adds all the tasks, and I can easily move my design task card from 'To Do' to 'In Progress' and then to 'Review.' This way, everyone can see what I am working on, and we avoid sending numerous emails. We also use the platform for brainstorming, and using digital sticky notes makes it simple to share ideas. Another advantage is that it connects with Jira, which our developers rely on, making it even more convenient for our workflow. **What do you dislike about iObeya?** To start, this is not a design tool. I can't do my actual design work here, nor can I properly review designs. It's nothing like Figma or Miro. Instead, it seems geared more toward tracking, almost like a factory workflow. The platform feels tailored for 'Lean' and 'Agile' managers rather than creative professionals. Sometimes, it feels a bit slow, and locating older boards can be confusing. The interface isn't very intuitive for someone with a creative background; it comes across as quite corporate and highly structured. Additionally, I haven't found many templates suited for creative tasks, such as mood boards or customer journey maps—most options are business charts. For a small team, I think this tool is excessive. We also couldn't find clear pricing information, and my boss had to contact a salesperson. It seems quite expensive to me. **What problems is iObeya solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main challenge iObeya addresses for us is managing projects with a remote team. Previously, we depended on numerous spreadsheets and emails, which made it difficult to keep track of everything. With iObeya, we now have a centralized platform where we can easily view the status of all our projects. I find it especially useful because I can visually demonstrate my progress to my project manager and the marketing team. They can see my card move as I complete tasks, which keeps everyone informed. For major campaigns, we lay out all the necessary steps on a single, large iObeya board, ensuring the whole team stays aligned. This has reduced confusion and cut down on meetings that were only held to ask about project status. While iObeya is excellent for organizing work, I’ve found it’s not particularly designed for the creative aspects of our projects. ### 4. From running brainstorming meeting to strategic workshops, the visual workspace maintains discussions interactive, and the participants focused. I mean the ability to discuss with virtual sticky notes and diagrams to grasp the idea easier and to track progress over time. It has made so much of a difference in ensuring that remote and hybrid teams are equally involved in planning and in making decisions. **What do you dislike about iObeya?** It is one of the things which can be frustrating with iObeya, that some interactions in fast paced discussion feel less intuitive. The process isn’t always as smooth as expected during the quick updates and rearranging elements of a board. This can get the flow of meetings underway especially if many people are trying to add in at the same time. It would be nice if there were more discretion on the fly, making adjustments without interrupting the discussion. **What problems is iObeya solving and how is that benefiting you?** The structure of iObeya enabled us to eliminate a lot of miscommunication between teams by helping us have a clearer structure for planning and discussions. As opposed to relying upon verbal updates from all around or scattered notes, we now have something to locate information in a method that is sensible for all.
