Inworld AI is a realtime voice AI platform that provides the voice layer for consumer AI applications. Its products include text-to-speech, ranked among the top models on the independent Artificial Analysis Speech Arena, speech-to-text, large language model (LLM) routing across more than 200 models, and a realtime API. Developers can use each product independently, for example accessing text-to-speech through a single API call, or combine them into one realtime conversation through the Realtime API, and deploy to millions of concurrent users. The company serves use cases where realtime interaction is critical, including companion and social applications, developer assistants, tutoring and education, health and wellness, customer service, and interactive media. Its focus is realtime conversation at scale, with response times of approximately 200 milliseconds at high concurrency and pricing that remains efficient as usage grows. Customers include AI-native startups such as Status by Wishroll (the third fastest application to reach one million daily active users), Bible Chat (approximately 800,000 daily active users), Particle, Luvu, and Talkpal, as well as Fortune 500 companies including NVIDIA, NBCUniversal, and Logitech Streamlabs. At its core, Inworld is a product-oriented research lab of AI researchers and engineers. Its founding team led product for large language models at DeepMind and built Dialogflow, the conversational AI platform acquired by Google. The company has raised more than $125 million from investors including Lightspeed, Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, CRV, Stanford, Microsoft's M12, Meta, Intel Capital, Samsung NEXT, LG Technology Ventures, and Bitkraft.
