What do you like best about Inventory Planner by Sage?

Inventory Planner ensures we're able to manage 15,000 lines from over 300 suppliers with ease. The support team is very knowledgeable and helpful, allowing us to use Inventory Planner to its full ability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inventory Planner by Sage?

Sync times can be a little slow. We run our stock pretty lean, so occasionally we can place an order with a supplier and parts are missed if a customer places an order at an inconvenient time. However, this only really affects backorders or very slow-moving stock. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Inventory Planner by Sage solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're able to accurately forecast our stock according to historic demand. The range of tools at our disposal through inventory planner means we can make smart buying decisions that have limited the number lines that are overstocked. What do you like best about Inventory Planner by Sage?

Forecasting ability and also the ability to really hone in on our stock holding to ensure it's optimal. Making sure we have the stock we need in order to service our customers. What do you dislike about Inventory Planner by Sage?

Full and comprehensive stock and sales history, reportable at any month-end in the past. Quick, helpful and responsive support team. Full audit trail for Purchase Order generation and updates. What do you like best about Inventory Planner by Sage?

We have been with inventory planner for a long time, even before Sage acquired them, and they are definitely the leaders in the field. The are constantly improving the software, and they are actually people you can talk to when you need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inventory Planner by Sage?

Price elasticity calculations would be helpful.

It does take some time to understand the user interface but its great once you know it.

What do you like best about Inventory Planner by Sage?

The replenishment function in inventory planner gives you so much transparency into the supply chain. The combine and merge function for variants also helps to ensure our supply is aligned with ever changing markets. I'm not exaggerating when I say this program is exactly what I was looking for in an inventory application. Even in instances where I thought capability would be an issue, my customer support implementation specialist Nicholas, who was invaluable during the integration, would either walk me through how to reach my end goal with the program or find a work around to achieve the same desired outcome. What do you dislike about Inventory Planner by Sage?

There's not much left ot be desired. I only wish that quickbooks was more integrated so that changes in inventory planner would carry over to quickbooks, but this speaks more to inventory planners superior functionality in regards to supply chain management. What problems is Inventory Planner by Sage solving and how is that benefiting you?

Inventory planner helps make up for quickbooks online's lack of capabilities. The disconnection between the receiving and billing process has been an issue for us for some time, and inventory planner helps alleviate that. I think this program is a must have for all quickbooks online users who warehouse and distribute items. The merge and combine function is extremely helpful in help us adapt to customer product demands, and gives you the capability of funneling all your like part data into a single data point.
