I enjoy it that getting from design to toolpath takes only few seconds so that I can try and test fast. Initial tool list and machining methods dropdown are incredibly useful for most routine processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Inventor CAM? Basic clamp and support structures themselves do not fit well to the model without fine tuning the parts. This can be very time consuming and rather annoying, particularly if working with numerous parts that are closely compacted together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Inventor CAM solving and how is that benefiting you? As a comprehensive CAM package, Inventor CAM is a good CAM programming tool for the novice to the moderately skilled user. What I love most is that it consolidates almost everything into Inventor, thus saving me a lot of time. It has a relatively smooth learning curve and it is ideal in developing toolpaths.
