"Efficient Interface, Promising Features with Room for Growth"

What do you like best about Inven?

I like Inven's great user interface, which makes understanding what is going on in the program much easier for me. The nice AI features are also a standout as they help create filters and narrow down searches, allowing me to ask specific questions about companies. Additionally, the good revenue estimation model quickly gives me an idea of how sizable a business is. Overall, it makes searching for financial information and other details on companies much simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think some registered countries are not available now, but they are working on adding more and more countries to have better quality of data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Inven to better understand my addressable market and create precise lists for our CRM. I particularly appreciate that Inven is extremely easy to use, especially thanks to its AI module which transcribes our research into lists very precisely and efficiently. Additionally, access to a centralized and qualified database is a major asset, providing information that is often scattered or incomplete elsewhere. Inven's customer service is also responsive and attentive. The initial setup was extremely efficient and easy thanks to the support we received. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Get to a yes or no in seconds"
5/5
What do you like best about Inven?

Inven helps me narrow down targets for my search fund. I'm able to find the kinds of companies I want to find in a certain industry very quickly. The most recent and useful feature though has been the google chrome extension. Any time, weather I'm working or not, I can instantly get a feel for if the website I'm on is a company that might be a good acquisition target, helping me uncover opportunities I never would have found another way. What do you dislike about Inven?

You need to know how to use the search function properly otherwise it's not going to be as useful as it could be. It is worth it to talk to someone at Inven to get regular updates on the tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Data Hub with Impressive AI"
5/5
What do you like best about Inven?

I love using Inven for generating lists of potential acquisition targets as it simplifies the process immensely. Its standout feature is the excellent AI Search filtering, which makes it easy to filter through millions of companies in their database swiftly. This feature is invaluable when I need to scan target websites for specific keyword matches quickly, making the identification of potential leads seamless. Additionally, the integration with LinkedIn is a game-changer, allowing me to effortlessly pull employee counts and growth metrics for the companies we are evaluating. Another aspect I appreciate is that Inven consolidates all essential data into one platform, replacing the need for multiple resources, which streamlines our workflow. The initial setup of Inven was straightforward, thanks to the support from a dedicated product representative who guided us through the onboarding process. Overall, Inven's ability to combine multiple functionalities into a single cohesive tool is incredibly beneficial, and I would highly recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inven?

The UI is very different from any of the competitors, which might result in a longer learning curve if you are already familiar with other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Tool for M&A Consultants—Streamlines Investor Research Perfectly"
5/5
What do you like best about Inven?

Inven is very helpful for my workflow as a M&A sell side consultant tasked with identifying potential investors:

- Generation of investor longlists works great, has all the useful company data and filters that I need, and allows me tu use AI powered text searches to identify the relevant companies. Export with contact data works flawlessly.

- Generation of investor shortlists works even better! Unlike many competitors, Inven allows me to create a list combining both relevant strategic and financial acquirers (with contact data of relevant personnel as well!). This is extremely helpful and shortens my workflow significantly, since the Excel export already contains the relevant portfolio companies from previous investments and a full text description. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inven?

As usual with such services, one can of course always ask for even more companies, more company data, more contact data etc., but (also in comparison to other similar services), I'm very happy with the current status and acutallystarted to use Inven as my single source of investor reasearch, since I feel like the results are quite complete already today and I don't have to check multiple sources. "Inven Makes Discovery of Companies Easy and Intuitive, Removing Traditional Biases"
5/5
What do you like best about Inven?

Inven does all the thinking, formulating of my wishes, and all of the "heavy lifting" in finding companies and deals for me. It basically allows me to just think out loud (or in writing) and does the rest. Great product, such a wonder it has not been there earlier, but fantastic to have it now. I use it almost daily, at least weekly, not only for actually finding companies for tangible business needs but also to follow interesting markets and ponder upon "random" deal ideas and funding backgrounds of companies etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inven?

Of course the search result is not always perfect and sometimes needs a bit of manual verification, but then again, just to give a list to review is obviously of great value. Also, it would be great if the platform included debt financing deals - maybe in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Tool with Comprehensive Market Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Inven?

I've been using Inven for a few months now, and it works really well for finding potential buyer candidates and add-on acquisitions. I particularly like its algorithm, which makes it easy to search for players in a specific industry and segment them by key metrics like revenue and profitability. Inven provides a wide range of company information and contact details, making it superior to manual efforts. Its straightforward setup was also a plus. Overall, it stands out as a great tool due to its coverage and support for understanding market players and potential acquisitions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inven?

It would be helpful to have more insightful data such as revenue splits and growth details, even if it's on a guesstimate basis. Overall, getting better information is always beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Buy-side Advisory Use Case"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Inven?

It's very easy to use for the most part. It's plug and play and works like a lot of the other data platforms out there in terms of front end use, but where it shines is it's ability to leverage AI+keyword search to find exactly what you're looking for. If you're looking for a specific type of company, which most investors are, that usually requires some nuance beyond some indexed fields (headcount, geography, funding amount, ownership type etc) to find what you want.

You can describe specific customers (ie. instead of document automation platforms, you can describe document automation platforms for banks, credit unions, and insurance companies). We use it, as a team, just about every day. There's no real set up required; you just start searching and get better at it over time. It was really easy to integrate into our process because once we search and build ths list, then we have the right targets and can go and enrich that list with the right contacts.

Their team is super responsive and listens to suggestions and for the 2 years we've been using the platform they've implemented many of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inven?

They need more investor fields and a descriptive investor search. Sometimes AI classifications of companies is pretty poor and I'm sure this will improve with time as AI get's better.

I also wish contact enrichment was more robust with more waterfall sources and more credits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
