## Intuit QuickBooks Reviews
 ### 1. Powerful Accounting Insights, but a Steep Learning Curve and High Costs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayur G. | Senior Financial , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Intuit QuickBooks makes accounting easier by automating tasks like invoicing, tracking expenses, and payroll. It also lets you make your own financial reports that give you clear information about how your business is doing. Some important features are access from the cloud, customizable reports, and payroll integration.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The things people don't like about intuit QuickBooks are that it takes a lot of time to learn, it's not very scalable for businesses that are growing, and its subscription costs are higher than those of other programs. There are some common problems with the cloud-based version, such as problems with customer support and glitches. Other common problems include a steep learning curve, limited scalability, cloud dependency, and glitches.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Small and medium-sized businesses can use QuickBooks to fix their biggest problems. Things like messy bookkeeping, having to enter data by hand, and not being able to see how your finances are doing. It saves time and does more than just that by automating and centralizing these tasks. Some addition problems that QuickBooks can help with are cash flow blind spots, complicated payroll and tax compliance, and financial data that is spread out.

 ### 2. Streamlined Financial Management with Compatibility Challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa S. | Senior Industrial Process & Manufacturing Optimization Engineer, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The platform has a clean, easy-to-navigate layout that our team picked up fast. Its cost tracking features work well for our manufacturing operations, letting us tie every expense directly to specific production orders. The native data security controls also help us adhere to GDPR, and pulling up routine financial reports takes just moments, cutting down our daily accounting workload significantly.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

It cannot connect seamlessly with our on-premises production ERP, forcing us to re-enter data repeatedly. It also lacks sophisticated tools for detailed manufacturing cost distribution. Custom reports fail to align fully with German DIN industrial standards, and the system runs sluggishly when processing large batches of supplier invoices.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use QuickBooks to oversee factory finances, track raw material spending and track ongoing operational costs. It has replaced error-prone manual bookkeeping and scattered spreadsheets, simplified invoice handling and minimized data mistakes. Meanwhile, its security features keep our sensitive financial data compliant with GDPR requirements.

 ### 3. Easy Invoice and Expense Tracking That Keeps Everything Organized

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leigh Ann B. | Office Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Intuit QuickBooks is easy to use. It makes tracking invoices, payments, and expenses simple and helps keep everything organized in one place.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

One thing I dislike about Intuit QuickBooks is the cost, especially as your business grows and you need more features.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Intuit QuickBooks helps solve the problem of keeping track of invoices, payments, expenses, and overall business finances in one place. It saves time, keeps records organized, and makes daily accounting tasks much easier to manage.

 ### 4. Great Transaction Categorization and Receipt Attachments

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Spencer C. | Founder, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The ability to classify and categorize transactions is really great. I also like how you can attach a reciept to each transaction.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The only downside of QuickBooks is the cost. Their pricing is higher than that of comparable companies, but, as usual, you get what you pay for.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to add receipts to my expenses really helps at tax time. I also like how QB seamlessly integrates with TurboTax. You can also connect your CreditKarma with it and keep track of everything!

 ### 5. Easy Bookkeeping and Organized Transactions with Helpful Intuit Expert Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The ease it brings when it comes to bookkeeping and organizing financial transactions. Plus the ever ready assistance from Intuit experts when there’s an issue

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The fact that QB desktop does not have a lot of features available in QBO and a lot of manual work

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s solving the stress of having to manually do your accounting. A lot of features are automated so this makes everything easy and clear

 ### 6. Simple Implementation and Support for Both Desktop and Online Versions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Athena A. | Administrative Assistant, Technology and Technical Affairs, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Our company has been using it for a very long time. We currently have the desktop version, but there is also an online version as well. We've used both over time, and the implementation and support for both was simple for out tech people.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The only reason our finance team didn't like the online version was because it's very different from the desktop version and didn't offer the same options. It required training for everyone that was going to use it because the interface was that different.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is the main way we produce and sent invoices when necessary, other options we've used were woefully inadequate.

 ### 7. User-Friendly for Daily Tasks, But Complex Features Need Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nisha D. | Client financial analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

What I like most about Intuit QuickBooks is how intuitive and user-friendly it is. It makes day-to-day tasks like invoicing, tracking expenses, and reconciling accounts manageable. I also appreciate how easy it is to pull reports quickly and intergration with excel.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

I sometimes find it a bit clunky and unintuitive, especially for more complex tasks. Navigating between different features can feel slower than necessary, and customizing reports or workflows can be more complicated than it should be. Also, occasional software glitches or updates that change the layout can be frustratin

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks helps solve the challenge of keeping financial data organized and accessible. It simplifies tasks like tracking expenses, managing invoices, and reconciling accounts, which would otherwise be time-consuming and prone to errors if done manually. For me, it saves a lot of time, and gives me clear visibility into the business’s financial health, so I can make informed decisions quickly.

 ### 8. Fairly Intuitive and Simple Once You Get the Hang of It

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joellen S. | Finance & Operations, Online Media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

QB is failrly intuitive and once you get the hang of things, fairly simple. With that said, it is important to have some understanding of accounting

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The customer service people are technical people not accountants and often dont understand your question

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Serves a basic accounting function for a small business

 ### 9. An excellent accounting software with minimal report customisation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dhana C. | Senior Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

It offers bookkeeping and makes the process easier by including invoice preparation and BRS inventory management, all within an easy-to-use interface. Even someone new to the system can adapt quickly. Its cloud-based functionality has been especially helpful, allowing me to work comfortably from either my home laptop or the office. So Usage is regular mostly use it daily evn in holiday time urgent work.Collaboration with our vendors is also straightforward; when a vendor creates an invoice for us, we can simply accept it and use it right away. Additionally, the pricing adjusts according to our business needs, which has also been beneficial for my friend who does freelancing.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The first thing I dislike is the customer support. It often doesn't meet our requirements, and when we need to implement something, their response is sometimes too slow. This delay can be quite frustrating, and at times, the support is unresponsive, which has left us feeling exhausted. Additionally, we are unable to generate reports according to our own analytics needs. While there are some reports available, they are limited, and creating custom reports is confusing and not straightforward for us.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, BRS was a challenge, but now it integrates seamlessly with the bank, making the BRS process much quicker and saving time at month-end. Additionally, maintaining tax records has become more efficient compared to other ERP systems, which I find to be a significant benefit.

 ### 10. Automatic Bank Transaction Matching Makes Reconciliation Quick and Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

One of the best tools in QuickBooks is the automatic suggested matching for bank transactions. It makes maintaining the bank account much quicker and easier.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

I’ve found that Quickbooks reporting doesn’t always work the way I need it to. On some reports, I can’t filter the data or rearrange columns, which means I often have to export the report and clean up the data myself.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bank reconciliation is quick, and it’s easy to search transactions when I need to make adjustments.

 ### 11. Effortless Cloud Accounting, Accessible Anywhere

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The ease of the cloud based accounting. It can be utilized anywhere.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The continuing cost increases and changes Intuit makes to QBO.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run a virtual bookkeeping and business advisory firm, and one of the biggest advantages in my tech stack is QuickBooks Online. QBO gives both me and my clients the flexibility to access accurate, up-to-date financials from anywhere—whether we’re in the office, traveling, or working remotely.

Because everything lives securely in the cloud, I can review transactions, reconcile accounts, run reports, and advise clients in real time without waiting on files to be exchanged or updated. My clients love that they can log in anytime to see where their business stands, and I love that it keeps our workflow efficient, streamlined, and perfectly aligned.

For a virtual firm like mine, QBO isn’t just convenient—it’s essential. It supports collaborative communication, cleaner data, faster decision-making, and a more proactive advisory experience for every business I serve.

 ### 12. Great Bookkeeping Software Trusted by CPAs and Accountants

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marissa C. | CPA Administrator/Bookkeeper, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

It’s great bookkeeping software. So many CPAs and accountants use it that it’s almost a must-have if you want to run a financially organized business.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The customer service is terrible—to the point that I won’t even try to contact them when I have an issue. Their attempt to integrate AI has been a major failure. On top of that, there have been too many changes happening too quickly, without any real explanation for why.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes bookkeeping and reconciling accounts much easier and more straightforward.

 ### 13. Easy-to-Use Accounting for Small Teams, but Limited Customization and Advanced Reporting

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

QuickBooks is easy to use and quick to implement. I like its clean interface, simple navigation, and efficient handling of basic accounting tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, bank reconciliation, and standard financial reports. It works well for small teams and helps save time on routine accounting activities without requiring deep technical expertise.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Limited customization and reporting for advanced accounting needs, especially multi‑entity and statutory compliance. The software can become slow with large data volumes, and pricing increases as features and users are added.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Intuit QuickBooks solves problems related to basic accounting automation, such as invoicing, expense tracking, bank reconciliation, and standard financial reporting. This benefits me by reducing manual work, improving visibility into financials, and enabling faster, more accurate day‑to‑day accounting for small business operations.

With some of the other updates, I’m finding certain functions harder to use.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps with tracking and managing expenses for my tropical business.

 ### 15. Streamlined Accounting with Room for Dashboard Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alok M. | Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

I like Intuit QuickBooks for its bank reconciliation feature where I can integrate my bank account, and all the bank feeds are automatically updated. This makes the reconciliation of accounts accurate and updated. I also find it quite modern and user-friendly to use, which makes it easy to understand. The initial setup was very easy for me, thanks to the tutorial video provided by QuickBooks, which I watched and followed.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

I think Intuit QuickBooks could do better if they improve their dashboard as currently it's not catchy enough. Instead of showing everything, the dashboard can be customized to show specific things using filters like for bank statements, invoices, or sales.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Intuit QuickBooks for daily accounting, handling bookkeeping to accounts finalization and bank reconciliation. Its bank integration automatically updates entries, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark P. | Sr. Business Development Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

I really appreciate most of the features that Quickbooks offers. I used Quickbooks Desktop for three years, but when things switched over to Quickbooks Online, I found that I could no longer manage the accounting for my three companies within the online version. Now, I have to juggle both the online version and my old Quickbooks Desktop software. The yearly cost difference is significant—$970 per year for the online version compared to being able to purchase the software outright and upgrade only when necessary. Switching back to the desktop version would now cost $1,700 annually, which is simply too expensive for me. While I still love the software and what it can do, Quickbooks has unfortunately become too costly for my business, and I am now searching for a more affordable solution that can handle the needs of my three companies.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The price has become too high for me, so I am now searching for a more affordable option.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can track my income and my expenses.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suvanjan S. | Youth Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

I like how the software doesn't have everything scattered and all over the place, its very intuitive and makes things a whole lot faster for doing payroll and checks. I frequently use this app to see my paystubs, manage my tax information and other important things relating to my compensation. I love how it's very integrable with the other Intuit apps making it amazing for all the software Intuit offers.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

I think one dislike would be the two factor authentication that I have to do almost every single time, it may be a hassle, but its also there for safety reasons.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes the system streamlined and saves a lot of time with payroll and helps the employees with taxes.

 ### 23. Beginner-Friendly Bookkeeping Made Simple

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

Its integration with third-party apps like PayPal, Shopify, and payroll services streamlines business operations.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The pricing model can be frustrating—many advanced features or integrations require higher-tier plans or add-on costs. Customer support can also be hit or miss depending on the issue. Occasionally, updates can disrupt custom workflows or settings. New users may also face a steep learning curve with more advanced features.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks helps centralize and automate many financial management tasks, reducing the need for manual data entry and minimizing errors. It makes it easier to track cash flow, manage vendor payments, and stay on top of invoicing and customer billing. The automation of bank feeds and transaction categorization saves time and increases accuracy, while built-in reporting tools provide quick insights into business performance. This all leads to more informed decision-making and better financial visibility.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Entering transactions from receipts/invoices uploaded is not as good as their competitors.

I find that there is quite a bit of manual entries required as it often doesn't remember details from the previous time that supplier was entered.

Not sure.

 ### 32. QB

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** malune r. | Controller, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The software is so easy to use, user friendly, easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The software is becoming very expensive and I don't like it that it needs a yearly subscription that cost over a thousand dollars for a desktop version.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is benificial for company financial reporting and customer invoicing.

 ### 33. Great Product

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

as an accountant i find its a great Product. Easy to Use.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Can be a bit slow. Not sure if it the internet or the prodcut

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Day to day bookkeeping

 ### 34. My experience with Intuit Quickbooks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bobbi H. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The ease of logging in and navigating Intuit QuickBooks was my favorite part. I could add a new hire in about 10 minutes and also send them links to enroll in the time clock system.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

I think the part I disliked the most is the price. It definitely cost the company more to use than our new payroll service. Customer Support wasn't the best either.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used it for payroll and also for reports for audits

 ### 35. Good

User-friendly interface and efficient financial management.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Occasional glitches and high subscription costs.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Expense tracking, invoicing, payroll, and financial reporting.

 ### 36. Accounting Software for Small Business Owner

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathryn M. | Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

I do appreciate all of the different transaction categories available to organize transaction input. It can be daunting at times trying to categorize business expenses but Quickbooks has a forum where you can connect with tax experts to help with this. There is also a mobile app so recording transactions on the go is easy. You also get a free federal tax filing each year when you use the Quickbooks and Turbo Tax programs together.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Honestly, their multiple price increases within the past two years has had me considering moving away from the platform and finding a less costly alternative. It was $12 per month when I first subscribed and now it's $30 per month.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a small business owner who is still in the growing pains sage, I cannot commit to hiring a tax professional at this time. Quickbooks lets me organize all of my transactions between multiple platforms in one place so come tax season I have everything organized and ready to go. I can upload my receipts too, which is convenient.

 ### 37. It's a business standard for a reason

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susan B. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

It has all of the accounting nuts and bolts built in, so that I don't need to know the rules. I've never understood how to use the debit and credit columns, and with QuickBooks, I never needed to know that. As a non-accountant sole practitioner, I have been able to successfully create profit and loss statements for my CPA every year for the last twenty-five years. It's been QuickBooks every single year, with an easy annual implementation each time I updated. I've never even considered another accounting software. I use it to record every receipt and every piece of income I've had in my business.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

There have been too many features for my tiny business, and I feel I paid too much for all of those beneifts like Payroll which I never needed as a one-woman shop. I will say, when I have needed customer support, it has gotten more difficult to get in recent years.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks is the only thing that has made it possible for me to be able to file my taxes every years. I'm a very small shop, and I can't afford full-time bookkeeping help, so QuickBooks has been my infallible accounting partner, keeping me out of IRS jail. I am very glad to have found the stripped down version of QuickBooks in QuickBooks SE, for my self-employed situation.

 ### 38. It does the job and is less frustrating than it used to be

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria B. | Principal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

It does what it says it will do, it handles my business accounting and payroll and when it works, it works well. It is seen as a leading provider, so there is a comfort level out there.
When I started using it, there were multiple changes to the system, and the help couldn't keep up. Now it feels more stable and the help is more relevant.
Easy to link to your bank accounts, which saves a lot of time, and it is gaining more integrations, such as with government systems for payroll tax.
Easy to generate reports.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

It still feels clunky and not user friendly. It feels complicated, and you have to have a level of accounting knowledge to use it. Yet accountants dont seem to rate it, so its more technical than say freshbooks, but not technical enough.

Other newer solutions, such as wave and sage seem more intuitive, but I find the integration and history is a major barrier to exit.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Single place for handling all book keeping, invoicing, accounting and payroll.

 ### 39. Simple and efficient majority of the time.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa C. | Program Director, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

I like QuickBooks for the simplicity and ease of using it. They offer mobile versions, apps and desktop access. You can vie wyour paystiubs and PTO with ease. It is a nice and digestible layout which is appreciated. I also like how the support always seems readily available in the event you need assistance. I am both an administrator and user of Intuit and I like the ease of being able to integrate it into our system and processes. It was very easy to implement and set up new employees. It is used frequently and used by all the stafft to monitor time off, paychecks, etc.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Occassionaly we have an issue with a staff member being unable to see their PTO or get a pop up that our "organization" no longer uses QuickBooks, which was an internal error on their end. This has happened a few times and they tell us to contact our accountant who refers us back to QuickBooks which leaves you in a rigamorale for a while. It always ends up being resolved, but it is never clear where the issue was to make sure its rectified for the future.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to track everyones PTO with Intuit easily and simply. This means I do not have to monitor or manage it often, it is basically a set it and forget it. We use QuickBooks for all our accounting needs as well in addition to employee payroll and PTO. It makes it a simple experience whether we work remotely or in person.

 ### 40. Great product for businesses large and small

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wesley G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The online version is a huge upgrade from the desktop software. Much more intuitive and organized. With integrated banking and payments it really saves me a lot of man hours.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

There are some features that really require knowledge of accounting. It's probably good to have these safety rails, but can sometimes slow me down. The takeaway is that even though I am comfortable with 90% of the features and functionality of the product, I still need an accountant to work through some issues.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

integrated payments and banking are a vaulable time saver to me. Sending invoices via email, having them paid via the link and Quickbooks automatically allocting to the correct invoice in real time saves me hours in a week. Plus automatice reminders and reports for chasing unpaid debt has also been a gamechanger for my small company.

 ### 41. Most reliable accounting software

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yasith P. | CEO/Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Quickbooks has got the basics of accounting right and if you know the concepts it is easy to use. Since Quickbooks is used by a lot there is a lot of community support available and a lot of help articles and videos if you need any help.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The UI UX is a bit complex compared to a tool like WaveApps. So you should know your accounting basics to use the application correctly. For a small business owner who does not have accounting knowledge, it could be challenging.
Also, there were some limitations with multi-currency support

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For internal bookkeeping
Sending invoices to clients
Income, Profit and Loss reports

 ### 42. A ton of functionality if you need it

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe P. | Project Delivery Manager, Project Manager, Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

I am not an accountant so software like this scares me. I really liked that it was very intuitive. There was almost no learning curve. I was able to import old Freshbooks data, create and send invoices, track payments and expenses, and used several of the add-on integrations.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

It became too expensive for my limited uses so I tried a lower plan and then eventually switched to a different product. It isn't very easy way to get your data out (and into another system). Support was not very helpful in this case and wanted me to pay for custom support.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped manage the finance side of my business very easily and still had dozens of features I never used/needed.

 ### 43. My accountant likes it

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elaine T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

I like the milage feature it makes it easy to remember to add trip or auto tarack.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

It hard for me to navigate with little bookkeeping experience, finding education is almost impossible unless you want to pay for it

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QB tracks all my expenses an create a report for my accountant

 ### 44. We use Quick Books for all of our financial needs and record keeping.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harry S. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

If you know how to operate the program most everything is there.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Intuit has made the program more complicated with each upgrade and continually hittin on us for more money.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Job cost accounting and record keeping.

 ### 45. Must read if you want to integrate QuickBooks with your website

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vikas G. | Senior Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

1. What I like the most about it is that it offers seamless integration with some of the widely used ecommerce platforms like Shopify, Opencart, WooCommerce.
2. Next what I like about the integration offered by the platform are quite easy to manage and configure to be able to start pushing purchase orders from the store to book keeping platform.
3. There have been instances where I need some help from their technical team and they were quick to respond.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

1. It does provide reporting feature but misses out on some of the basic report the business owners can use other than just accounting.
2. It would have been gamechanging if it would provide features like creating direct purchase orders from the POS using bar-code scanning.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps my clients manage their books and purchase orders under one roof

 ### 46. business bookkeeping made easy

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John H. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

It makes managing my self-employed business much easier than other available options. Automatic transaction labeling helps me with deductions around tax filing season.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Costwise, it is higher than other options and is almost high enough to consider a full-time bookkeeper to get more value and accuracy

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbooks helps me manage bookkeeping tasks for my self-employed business. I can easily organize my income and deductions to file taxes when the time comes.

 ### 47. The industry standard in small business accounting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary N. | Freelance Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

The interface for QuickBooks is everything I need, with very little I don't need. They have accurately identified the features that are helpful to a wide variety of users, and the application isn't overly cluttered with unnecessary additions.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Occasionally it can be hard to find what I need in QuickBooks, or things are unintuitively labeled. Progressive iterations have not improved this. Also, QuickBooks can occasionally be quite buggy. Their 2FA system in particular has often been nonfunctional.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks allows me to quickly and efficiently invoice and keep track of expenses for my freelance contract work. It allows me to estimate quarterly tax payments and easily make those payments. It streamlines accounting so that I can spend more time in my actual work.

 ### 48. Quickbooks - Easy to use for Growing Company

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam T. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

It's straightforward to use and allows for fast setup for a GL/ERP solution for a small but growing company. It also is cost-effective for a company that doesn't have an unlimited budget compared to the alternatives out there.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Overall is a good GL/Financial solution for our bsuiness but the reporting and some of the advanced accounting features are a bit limited as a company becomes more sophisticated and complex.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us maintain our books and client billing for projects and revenue generating lines of business for the org.

 ### 49. Quick Books has the right ideas but it could be better

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erick B. | Accounts Receivable Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

It is simple and easy to use. It gives you everything you need to keep track of your books in a basic way.

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Depending on the version you have it depends. Quickbooks Desktop feels very clunky and needs to update to a more user-friendly online version. Sharing Company files over networks is way too old school to being done in 2023. And the online version is a way less powerful and unforgiving version of Quick Books Desktop.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped us keep track of all your expenses and helped us generate Profit and Losses which helped us pivot our business.

 ### 50. Good and popular accounting solution

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bahubali S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Ease of use
Ease of reporting
Integration with Banks

**What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?**

Backup is not easy. There is not startup package. Does not connect with other QB accounts in other geography, so if you have entities in different countries, it is hard to get a cashflow that is combined.

**What problems is Intuit QuickBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basic accounting and payroll management
