"User-Friendly, Robust All-in-One Marketing with Powerful Automation and AI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing?

1. User-friendly but still robust

Mailchimp makes it easy to build professional campaigns with a drag-and-drop editor, while still offering advanced tools like automation, segmentation, and analytics. It’s approachable for beginners but scales well as your marketing gets more sophisticated.

2. Strong automation + all-in-one ecosystem

You can handle everything in one place—email campaigns, customer journeys, landing pages, signup forms, and even basic websites. That “all-in-one” setup saves a lot of time and keeps data connected.

3. AI-powered optimization

Their AI tools (like content generation, send-time optimization, and predictive segmentation) help improve performance without requiring a ton of manual testing. It’s especially useful for small teams trying to move fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing?

Pricing can get expensive as you scale – Costs increase quickly with larger contact lists, and you’re often paying for total contacts (including inactive ones), which can feel inefficient.

Limitations on lower-tier plans – The free and entry plans restrict features like automation, templates, and even email scheduling, which can be frustrating early on.

Customer support isn’t always strong – Support access depends on your plan, and users often report slow or limited help unless they’re on higher tiers.

Can feel limiting for advanced users – While great for beginners, more complex automation, CRM functionality, and segmentation can fall short compared to more specialized platforms.

Send limits and scalability constraints – Even higher-tier plans have caps on monthly email sends, which can be restrictive for high-volume campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Affordable Automation with a Helpful Mailchimp Community"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing?

Mailchimp isn’t just an email marketing platform; it’s a powerful automation system that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. The Mailchimp community is strong and genuinely helpful, and if you run into an issue, there’s a good chance someone has already found a solution.

The UX is straightforward and easy to follow, so it’s usually simple to find what you’re looking for. When you create lists, you can also quickly build a form to embed on your website, and it integrates automatically with Mailchimp.

I’m also impressed by how easily it handles larger databases and segmentation. And if you want to automate just about anything, you can use their integrated AI tools to set up workflows and triggers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing?

One drawback I found is the email editor, when you want to create emails from flexible templates. Adding layouts is a little clunky and it could do with a UX review. But you get used to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing?

Mail Chimp Email marketing is a incredibly easy way to send emails for small business'! For the price point I pay monthly, I have access to some amazing tools that help me get the word out about our company. It's been simple and easy to use and truly an asset to our marketing arm. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing?

I think the only negative of MailChip is the email design feature. It's pretty lacking and limited but definitely improving. With the Ai integrations, it makes writing copy for our emails simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"4-year customer. They deleted my data. Then ghosted me."
0/5
What do you like best about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing?

Nothing. My review remains the same, I'm simply updating my review with additional important details on how they've responded since posting the original review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing?

After posting this review, Mailchimp responded publicly promising escalation to their "senior support team for urgent review" on ticket #15156160131.

I followed up. They did nothing.

Today I received this email: "Since we have not heard back, we will go ahead and close this case."

To be clear: I responded to their escalation. They went silent. Then they closed the ticket and blamed me for not following up.

The public response was performative reputation management. The private follow-through was nonexistent. The original issue - data loss during account downgrade - remains unresolved.

If you're considering Mailchimp, understand that public promises of resolution do not translate to actual support. I've migrated to an alternate CRM and rebuilt everything from scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi Sean. Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback, and we're truly sorry to hear about your experience. "Simple, Effective, and User-Friendly Email Marketing with Mailchimp"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing?

I like how intuitive and user-friendly Mailchimp is. It makes creating and designing email campaigns really easy, even for someone without a lot of experience. The templates are helpful, and the drag-and-drop editor saves a lot of time. I also appreciate the automation features that let you set up emails to go out automatically. Overall, it just makes email marketing feel much simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing?

Sometimes it feels a bit pricey as your contact list grows, and some of the advanced features are locked behind higher plans. The reporting is useful but could be more detailed, especially for tracking individual subscriber behavior. A few times, the automation setup can be a little tricky to fine-tune. Overall, it’s minor, but these are the things that could improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly for Beginners, But Needs Better Design and Pricing Flexibility"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing?

I think it is a great tool for someone who is new to email marketing. The structure is simple, straightforward and user-friendly. It is easy to organize your audience and segments, and I find the formatting to be approachable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing?

I think the biggest downside to using Mailchimp is that the formatting is less aesthetically pleasing compared to other email marketing platforms. I also dislike the structure of audience size in relation to the pricing tiers. I feel that Mailchimp needs more customizable pricing options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good starting point, but limited at scale"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing?

Mailchimp is a solid email marketing tool with an intuitive interface and a wide range of templates that make it easy to get started quickly. The segmentation and automation features cover the basics well. However, compared to more advanced tools like Klaviyo or Braze, it reaches its limits fairly quickly – especially when it comes to complex automation flows, deep CRM integration, and sophisticated personalization at scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing?

The pricing model becomes quite expensive as your contact list grows, making it less competitive compared to alternatives. The automation builder feels dated and lacks the flexibility needed for more sophisticated customer journeys. Reporting and analytics are fairly basic – deeper insights require third-party integrations. For teams that have outgrown simple newsletters and need advanced segmentation, behavioral triggers, or tight CRM connectivity, Mailchimp can quickly feel like a limitation rather than an enabler.
