I like best the integration capabilities. Intrexx can talk to almoust any other system that a company is operating. There are serveral connectors available to easily intergrate immediately. For other interfaces I can write adapters or proprietary connectors on my own and make them available for users of different departments at a company. I like to optimize processes that go through several departments or interact with customers and suppliers and provide faster and more efficient workflows by using the apps that can be rather easily developed. At the beginning it arouses misconceptions. With the concept of the low-code platform, it creates the impression that you don't necessarily have to be a software engineer to create applications. However, that is only partially true. You don't actually have to program at the beginning, as you can build the data model and the user interface with drag and drop. But ultimately, it is precisely this manual step that needs the most maintenance in later phases of use, since this step cannot be automated as with other IDEs or frameworks. We use Intrexx as a central information and communication platform in the company. Regardless of whether we provide documents, distribute product information, set up project groups or simply exchange ideas internally, everything goes easily and smoothly.

We have also linked our ERP system and document management and can use the data and content in the portal. This makes it easier to bundle the right information centrally in one place. In the case of projects, we receive the information about the project from our ERP system and the associated documents are stored safely in our DMS.

As a normal user, I can't say anything about the implementation effort, but our admins tell me that none of this is rocket science and could be set up quickly with the low-code features of Intrexx.

Searching is sometimes fuzzy, as there are currently various places in which you can search (global search, in share, in contacts etc.). A uniform and central input mask for search terms would be nicer, in which filters can be used if necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are using Intrexx as a standard development tool for government purposes and are very happy with the convenient and fast implementation of administration software and platforms. The easy handling of applications and the fast-forward way of implementing and adjusting applications fits our needs. Thanks to the multidimensional scaling given by the Intrexx development platfom it is quite simple to adjust pre-existing applications to continous changes of the requirements of our customers and accustomize standard applications to individual needs. The Portal Manager supports the developer in many standard tasks such as the design or the mapping/visualization of process flows.

Within a very short time, it is possible to create a customized application according to one's own requirements. The Intrexx Portal Manager takes care of a multitude of development-related tasks in the background, while the developer only needs to use the development elements in the toolkit. In this way, a high development standard can be achieved very quickly even without development know-how. However, classic programming is also possible as a perfect complement with already integrated interfaces, so that a solution is always in sight even for complex special cases. I'm a typical non-code junkie. I am not a fan of frameworks where I have to develop everything myself. Here Intrexx has the big advantage over other frameworks. While you work on user management in other platforms, this comes out-of-the-box with Intrexx. A connection to Active Directory with single sign on is ready within 10 minutes. In 95% of the cases, the frontend can be set up only with drag and drop, and it is completely responsive. From my experience, responsive development is even much faster with Intrexx. All possible elements such as input fields, buttons, checkboxes, sortable lists, tree structures, diagrams, tables, filters are in a library and are configured in a minute. The data structure is created directly when the front end is set up. In reality, you don't have to deal with the database itself, since Intrexx automatically creates all tables and data fields in the database. And if that were not enough, you can even create workflows in the Process Designer with drag and drop. Of course, you can also do without drag and drop and develop everything in one code module with the Groovy programming language (like Java). Thus, it is a pleasure for every developer, no matter if beginner or professional, to work with it. One small point about the design: with every Intrexx installation, a finished, responsive sample design comes with it. The editor of the design is really simply structured.
