I'm a firm believer in automating as much as possible, and when things can't be fully automated then having the smoothest and most trouble-free workflow that is possible. Loop completely revolutionizes the whole email workflow. It works beautifully for an individual, but really comes into its own when it is utilized by a whole team. The only thing I dislike at the moment is the inability to have multiple personal accounts within the same Loop account. To an extent, you can get around this using shared email accounts, but it will be great when they add the ability to have multiple different personal email addresses in a single account, which I understand is in the pipeline for this year. It forces you to change your workflow, and this can take a while to get your head around. But it is changing your workflow for the better, so it is well worth persevering with. Once you get the hang of it you'll find the initial effort rewards you many times over. Consolidating multiple email addresses in a single tool, with the ability to share some of those accounts with team members, and assign emails to team members. Very cool. Loop combines an e-mail client with advanced features missing in traditional e-mail clients. I would highlight Assign (assigning e-mails or tasks to co-workers) and chat discussions about an individual e-mail. This prevents the forwarding of e-mails among co-workers, which used to be the practice in our office. Sender/recipient communication, and especially among coworkers, is thus much faster and more effective. Last but not least are Shared inboxes for managing group emails, which is really easy with Loop. Managing group e-mails such as info@, support@, and orders@ is way faster and easier. Everyday works processes that happen largely on email have become a lot better controlled and there is no more ill will among coworkers related to internal mass forwarding. In short: I now know who is in charge of what. If you’re looking for the best email client, there are better ones out there. CEED Slovenia team works and communicates with hundreds of entrepreneurs, mostly by e-mail. There is also communication among team members, based on these emails and Loop does something very unique and magical: it enables side chat on emails, all in one tool. What do you dislike about intheloop.io? Everybody on the team needs to use Loop as their default email clients and we had a couple of hard core Outlook users who were opposed to that. What problems is intheloop.io solving and how is that benefiting you? Getting rid of chaos and disarray, created by using multiple apps for communication was definitely the greatest benefit. Reducing a ton of "cc:" or "bcc:" emails is a big plus for me personally. I love the UI and simplicity of the app in how it merges emails and chats. Our marketing team used to work with Gmail to communicate with clients and Flock for internal collaboration. Now we’re able to collaborate effectively from one app. It’s working really well for our internal collaboration, for example: we have team chat channels set up for our design, product, and marketing teams - where we keep all of our team conversations. Loops ability to allow seamless collaboration between my teams has proved invaluable during the coronavirus outbreak. With better communication between staff and freelancers has proved that we don’t need to shout across desks to make sure emails are being answered and have our own concerns about incoming emails answered as well. I’ve been able to address both developers and designers easily and the support for image uploads through the chat system has been a god send. Loop feels like it could replace slack at this point, should they open an api as well this system could be a powerhouse for teams. Staff support is fantastic and I’ve been able to get responses at times I wouldn’t have thought I would have. They are thorough and even work along with you to make sure all issues are resolved timely. The roadmap is very exciting and I can see loop going a long way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about intheloop.io? At the moment the only thing negative I have to say about loop is it’s apps feel quite infant. As discussed above we’re finding ourselves able to work efficiently if not better apart that we were in the same office. Loop reminds us about unresolved emails. It allows us to talk about an email that’s come in before replying. Often this also entails sending latest design works over which would normally get lost in some other program, Dropbox, slack, email etc. Now it’s all there inside the same email thread. No more am I having to explain which project, which page etc etc they can read the email themselves and find what’s required easily as well. I love how I can chat directly or within teams in the same app as I can do my usual email, plus I can have internal discussions around emails. The shared inbox is excellent, with just enough functionality for it not to get too bothersome - assigning, automatic rules, automatic nudging, resolving, they work great for our support channel. We recently added a new team member and onboarding him was a breeze - we just added him to the right teams and shared inbox and away he went, was really that easy. I like the slick UI, I use the desktop app for Mac and the iOS version. I checked out their roadmap and am excited to see integrations coming as well as ticketing ID numbers which I think will help a lot. Also, their support its top notch. Basically it is the single workplace communications tool for my business of 10 - we have teams set up around our clients and organization units, we have a shared inbox connected allowing us to assign and resolve support tickets, we chat internally, it's just easy to keep everyone in the loop (had to do it :). I love the way it redefines how we use email. It allows me to send quick chats to project members so that they can see the emails I am exchanging with my clients. I miss the complete calendar function. I am able to accept a calendar invite and there is an agenda view but I still have to use the Outlook calendar to keep a complete overview on my events.
