Its ability to enable the creation of a separate marketplace built on Mirakl has opened new revenue streams for our business. I value the out-of-the-box B2B functionality, such as complex price and range management, which suits our business needs. Additionally, the platform's flexibility in working alongside other tools like Mirakl, Mulesoft, Stibo PIM, Elastic Search, and Algonomy demonstrates its ability to adapt and integrate within our existing digital ecosystem. I find the CMS provided by the Intershop Commerce Platform is not easy for the end user to manage content, it has a lot of functionality but is very different to the CMS of a shopify for example. This necessitates the integration with a third-party CMS to achieve the desired experience. Additionally, the initial setup was complex because it required customization to deliver the needed experience and incorporate some features from our previous platform. Although the customer support processes have improved drastically lately, there are still challenges in fitting the customer wishes into the operational processes of Intershop. Intershop has enabled us to create multiple quick and easy to use User Interfaces for our users to purchase their desired products with confidence. Our main customers are customers working in care that have to purchase the food for the people in their care. This is a task that requires knowledge on the right food ingredients, but where our customers experience time constraints. We help them by suggesting menus and dishes tailored to the people in their facilities. For each customer there are separate contracted prices negotiated. All this pricing logic is handled by Intershop (sourced from the Microsoft Dynamics ERP). De Nieuwe Zaak (DNZ) is an experienced -sice 2005- e-commerce agency and has been implementing Intershop for many years already. We love the B2B fit-for-use of Intershop. Lots of functionalities, accessible via API's for PWA use. We created an accelerator pack including a modern React-based PWA, integration options, selenium tested and more. This gives the project a short time to market. Our customers value the stability and scalablity of the platform. Even better in the SaaS/PaaS version. Intershop is still a bit of a dark horse. Perhaps not as sexy as some MACH alternatives, but a lot easier to start with, a lower TCO and to be able to start a bit monolithic. And make it composable step by step. That really is possible. Hosting of the application and PWA used to be pretty complex, but Intershop now offers solid PaaS options, as well as ways of hosting external PWA's.
