What do you like best about Intershop Commerce Platform?

I like that we are able to expand in many areas and add new functionalities. They have lots of options and a good team to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intershop Commerce Platform?

There "manual" and how to documents online are very difficult to read and understand. They need a shorter version or a better document for customers that covers top FAQ, maybe? There are many options but it can get tricky to add/edit these things if you are new to the system and can't afford to constantly work with the developer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Intershop Commerce Platform:

Be sure to do your research and ask all questions up front. Do the due diligence of putting together requirements and making sure all integrations are possible and what is and is not included in their out of box (OOB) platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Intershop Commerce Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Intershop Commerce Platform?

Its very easy to scale. We have customer all over the world and each region can have different look and feel and use the same set of code. Installation once done does not require much tinkering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intershop Commerce Platform?

The documentation is hard to read. The AWS is supported but seems to be not ready yet. The major hurdle is upgrade. It takes lot of time and energy to upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Intershop Commerce Platform?

It's fairly easy to get up and running, and can make big projects manageable if you can get your catalog into the right format for import and don't need much in the way of customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intershop Commerce Platform?

It's more difficult than it needs to be to change product pictures, and next to impossible to redesign pages or checkout processes without a good deal of back-end development work. In general, it's not very flexible and many of the controls are counter-intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
