We transmit from Southern Brazil conferencing with people all over Brazil and even in Italy. Our internet is not all that good, but we set it for "low quality internet" and it works fine. Support has been quick to respond whenever we have needed them - but we haven't needed them that often... We did a lot of research before moving from Google Hangouts to a paid service and have never once regretted our decision to go with AnyMeeting. At the start, our students were upset about not being able to get the larger screen image of the teacher without losing the chat box, but they have adjusted to that difference from the Hangouts. **What do you dislike about Intermedia Unite?** . the chat box does not seem to be resizable - we would like to be able to make it larger. . the audio notices "You sound/microphone is now muted" / "Your sound/microphone is now unmuted" are too loud and disturbing (I don't remember the exact words in those notices). . the attempt to use the web-based newer system was a disaster due to our low quality internet, so we had to revert to the earlier, non-browser based version which we hope does not go away... . the system is in English only, which makes it more difficult for non-English speakers to get started using it. **Recommendations to others considering Intermedia Unite:** You might want to prepare tutorials to help your users start using the system - especially if your activity is not in English or if you are reaching out to people who are "non-technical-savvy".... **What problems is Intermedia Unite solving and how is that benefiting you?** training reaching more people ### 8. The integrated phone service is good. Using it mainly for screen shares, participants like clarity and ease of connecting. Pricing plans are reasonable. **What do you dislike about Intermedia Unite?** There should be a way to create and edit attendee lists in order to launch meetings right from the application. One could do much the same from Outlook, but it requires a user-defined email template and accessing those are annoying. I mentioned this to AnyMeeting, and they said they did not have plans to add this feature. In screen share mode, the controls go to a condensed bar/window, with limited functionality. You can't send another invitation in that mode, you have to stop screen share. Update version is supposed to be broser-based, but I have been unable to get it to work, even with Any Meeting support, so I reverted to the self-standing app. **Recommendations to others considering Intermedia Unite:** Give it a try. **What problems is Intermedia Unite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Conference calling with shared video views, mainly. Some of the similar applications that we have used do NOT easily recognise an external camera, other than a webcam. In our world, webcams don't always cut it because placing a laptop in the middle of the room is not appropriate and moving it around from person to person is a pain, and makes the people on the other end seasick! **What do you dislike about Intermedia Unite?** It worked very well and there wasn't much to dislike. As a computer nerd, of course I had to check out every option to figure it out. That took a bit of time, but I was ok with it. I like that their is a free trial, but the fact that you have to remember to go in and cancel it is quite annoying. I do not plan on paying for this service ever as it is almost identical to skype. **Official Response from Alex Cory:** > Hi. No tricks intended. We do have a free version of online meetings that supports up to 4 users. We are also planning to introduce a free version of webinars early next year with some limits on number of users and the ability to record. Both of those versions of the product allow you to do simple things and get a feel for how well the full product might perform. The 14 day free trial is intended to give you an opportunity to test the full set of capabilities without any limits on attendees to make sure the application works for you. But after your first successful webinar or large meeting, we are hoping you find our product valuable enough to purchase. We are continuing to work on enhancing the product and will be building additional features in to support the full sales and marketing workflow of most organizations.
