What do you like best about Intergraph G/Technology?

As a stress engineer, it is tough to calculate the stresses generated on the piping systems, and integraph technology made it easy. I was working on piping and nozzle stress calculations using CAESAR-II software. Integraph is one of the best software solution providers, it is easy to use, and all three directions(x,y,z) were easily input from backup files. Also, it has the functionality to import the previous piping system to create new outputs from the same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intergraph G/Technology?

It is heavy software, so it always needed more ram and storage to run the software smoothly. Also, it needs to integrate with NavisWorks, which was not easy to connect. Also, it consumes a lot of memory and slows down the system if we have low computer specifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Intergraph G/Technology solving and how is that benefiting you?

We calculated the forces and stresses generated in the oil and gas field using this software. Using CAESAR-II software, it was easy to calculate forces on pipings and simulate supports on the pipelines. It gave a proper output of the stresses generated on the oil and gas pipelines.

On CAESAR - II software, part of the integraph gave a graphic output on the screen to understand where more stress and strain is generated for better outcomes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Intergraph G/Technology?

The software is straight forward to use and does an excellent job with compatibility/sharing of files with clients. Because it is an Intergraph/Hexagon product it also has a strong support center and local advisors for training and company needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes it can be quite demanding on the computer hardware, but this could also be due to the size and/or complexity of projects. This may be an internal/hardware problem and not necessarily software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
