## Integrated Management System (IMS) Reviews
  ### 1. Excellent Platform for Process Transparency and Risk Control

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom K. | CEO, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

we needed a system that could help us document, monitor, and improve workflows as we scale. Interfacing makes it easy to identify bottlenecks, track responsibilities, and ensure our operations meet both internal and client compliance standards. The ability to integrate with our existing tools and generate real-time reports has also improved how we manage audits and internal reviews.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

There’s a learning curve when it comes to customizing dashboards and process maps, but once our team got familiar with it, we realized how powerful and flexible the system truly is.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interfacing helped us address process inconsistencies and lack of documentation that came with our company’s rapid growth. It centralizes all of our operational data, creating one reliable source of truth for management and compliance teams. With automated workflows and clear accountability, we’ve significantly reduced operational risks and improved project delivery timelines. It’s also made onboarding new employees much easier since all procedures are clearly defined and accessible.

  ### 2. BPM System with Strong Compliance Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ronald L. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

What we like most about Interfacing is how easily it allows us to map and monitor our internal processes. In healthcare, maintaining compliance and traceability is crucial, and the platform gives us a clear view of workflows, responsibilities, and documentation. It’s intuitive for our non-technical staff, and the reporting features make audits much easier.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

The system can feel a little overwhelming at first because it offers so many features. It took us some time to set up our processes the way we wanted, but the support team was helpful throughout.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform has helped us organize our operational procedures and compliance documentation in one place. Before using Interfacing, we relied on spreadsheets and separate systems. Now, we have better visibility across departments, which saves time and reduces confusion during inspections or audits.

  ### 3. A reliable platform for compliance and process governance in banking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julio C. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

Interfacing provides a centralized platform to document, monitor, and improve our financial processes while ensuring full regulatory compliance. I especially like its strong audit trail, risk management features, and how easy it is to align processes with banking regulations. It has helped reduce compliance errors and made audits much faster and smoother.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

Because the platform is very feature-rich, it can feel overwhelming at first. New users often need extra training to fully understand the advanced compliance and reporting features.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interfacing helps us manage regulatory compliance, risk, and audit requirements more effectively. By centralizing our financial processes and controls, we’ve reduced the time spent on audit preparation, minimized compliance errors, and improved transparency across departments. This has not only strengthened our risk management practices but also increased operational efficiency and confidence in meeting strict banking regulations.

  ### 4. Transformative Platform for IT Governance and Transparency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anne B. | Head of Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

Interfacing provides a strategic layer of control and visibility over all our IT and business processes. As CIO, I appreciate the governance structure it enforces — every process, policy, and control is clearly defined and linked. The dashboards give me a real-time snapshot of performance, risk exposure, and compliance status. It’s not just a tool; it’s an enterprise platform that brings order and transparency to our IT governance. The implementation team was professional and very familiar with enterprise-scale challenges.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

It takes a bit of time for non-technical executives to get comfortable navigating the system, especially when using analytics modules. But after short training, everyone sees the value.

Primary Role: CIO / IT Director

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interfacing has unified our IT and compliance landscape. We now have a single source of truth for IT processes, controls, and policies. It’s helping us meet audit requirements faster, improve cross-department alignment, and strengthen our data-driven decision-making.

  ### 5. Centralized GRC Platform That Streamlines Compliance and Empowers Our Team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruce C. | Principal CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

Interfacing provides a very structured and flexible environment for managing governance, risk, and compliance activities. I like how everything processes, controls, audits, and documentation is interlinked in one centralized platform. The reporting tools give us a clear overview of our compliance status, and the built-in workflows have eliminated the manual follow-ups that used to slow down reviews. Their team also understands regulated industries very well and guided us through every step of implementation. The system gives a sense of control and maturity that’s hard to achieve with spreadsheets or smaller tools.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

The initial configuration takes time, especially if you want to customize the solution for specific compliance frameworks. Some modules have more complexity than needed for smaller teams. Also, while the interface is functional, it could use a more modern visual refresh.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest challenge was maintaining visibility across multiple compliance programs and business processes. Interfacing has helped consolidate everything into one unified platform where risks, policies, and procedures are all connected. It has improved audit readiness, reduced documentation duplication, and helped management make better, data-driven decisions. We’ve also cut down on the time spent preparing reports for regulators and internal stakeholders.

  ### 6. Powerful Platform for Integrated Process Governance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Achal P. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

Interfacing’s GRC platform gives us a single, integrated environment to manage risks, controls, and compliance workflows across our organization. I really like how it connects every process to the related controls and documentation, which makes audits and regulatory reporting much faster. The dashboards provide great visibility for management, and the automated workflows reduce manual follow-ups.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

Because the system has so many capabilities, the initial configuration and user training can take some time. The interface could also feel a bit complex for new users until they get familiar with it.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interfacing is helping us streamline and standardize all our business processes across multiple departments. Before adopting the platform, process documentation and compliance tracking were scattered across spreadsheets and emails, making audits and reviews time-consuming. Now, we have a single repository where every process, risk, and control is clearly mapped, linked, and traceable.

  ### 7. Strong Value for Risk & Compliance Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dinara A. | Chief Operations Officer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

The risk management features are powerful. You can assign risk owners, set likelihood and impact levels, link controls, and track mitigation progress. The heatmaps and dashboards help leadership make informed decisions.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

Risk reporting templates are customizable, but some templates require manual configuration, which can be time-consuming during initial setup.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had difficulty tracking organizational risks, documenting controls, and connecting risk data to actual business processes. Interfacing made it possible to map risks directly to process steps, giving us contextual visibility and helping us prioritize mitigation activities.

  ### 8. Seamless Workflow Automation and Integration for IT Compliance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Quinn P. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

Interfacing helped us bridge the gap between IT operations and compliance. I like how easily we can model automated workflows, connect processes, and track approvals in real time. It integrates well with our CI/CD and ITSM systems, allowing better visibility into change management and release governance. The visual process modeling tool is great — it helps my team quickly document and standardize automation workflows without heavy coding.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

The analytics dashboard could use more native DevOps metrics like deployment frequency or change failure rate. We were able to customize reports, but it required some extra configuration.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Interfacing, our release and incident management were handled through multiple platforms. Now, everything — from approval workflows to compliance evidence — is centralized. It’s improved deployment traceability and reduced time spent on audit preparation.

  ### 9. Cybersecurity & IT Risk Firm

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martine P. | Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

The platform is powerful and enables collaboration, and reuse. For us, reusing processes, content, tasks, is critical in building a more agile and resilient model.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

Whilst we are still managing Interfacing on-premise, we have decided not to go to the cloud solution. This is more operational headaches and management but Interfacing has been very diligent and reactive in supporting our model.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reusing process content, un-standardaized structures can be managed more easily, changes can be rolled out more easily, and links can be shared.

  ### 13. Very strong process & quality tool for the business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahmad S. | Maintenance Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

This tool provides the best of both world, easy to use along with powerful feautres. It is the only tool that supports content in Arabic, and we were very well supported during our project.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

we didn't see any major downsides. To be honest, other tools made promises about their systems that we could not verify in the testing phase. Interfacing's did correspond to what we were ultimately looking for.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing all documentation centrally about our systems, and easily communicating changes

  ### 14. Good tools, well-suited, and available in French - made right here in Quebec

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guillaume A. | Business Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

The solution is available in French, made in Quebec, and includes multi-language content management features. There are also process analysis tools, simulation, and a suite for audit and CAPA management.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

There have been recent advancements in usage, particularly in reducing clicks. The old version was more complicated, and I really like the new modeler.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were having difficulties with our processes, and the standardization offered by Interfacing allows us to better manage our processes, and as a bonus, the management of audits is much more robust.

  ### 15. Endlessly Flexible and Functional

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica H. | Business Analyst - Project Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

As a Business Analyst, I love how I can tie everything together and present the same information in varying levels of detail. I can model technical requirements that roll up into pretty user interface stories with very little effort. I also love the flexibility and allows other teams to use it the way they need it. Some teams just use the document management features available in the Documents Module, while one of our technical teams is using it to capture data flows in the Process Module. But then everything can be tied together with Roles, Assets, Org Units, Master Data, etc. It's so powerful.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

There isn't much of a peer community around the product--like active forums to post and answer each other's questions. But Interfacing support is great to work with.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Document Management, Impact Analysis, Business Process Management (BPM), Current State and Future State Analysis, Productivity, Risk Management, Compliance, Data Management

  ### 16. Holistic Approach

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Armin F. | Senior Project Manager and Management Advisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

- In opposite to traditional 'specialized' applications like BPM or Document Management, Interfacing is offering in the EPC platform a holistic QMS approach including Risk Management and KPIs.
- By the Automation Platform, this can be leveraged by out-of-the-box or self-created workflow apps.
- Competitive price models
- Proven over many industries (Pharma in my focus)

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

Some might miss the very special features of their legacy tools.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Process Management, Document Management and other covered sub-systems are all part of an overall Quality Management System. Anyhow, in most companies the 'QMS' is a virtual system spread over some IT systems. With Interfacing, this can be integrated. Second: the industry-specific DMS have often very high run costs, which can be substantially decreased.

  ### 17. Excellent BPM tool and great support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana R. | Associated Teaching Assistant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

EPC is an excellent tool for creating, executing, and optimizing business processes.
The software has valuable functionalities, quite intuitive. The design process and features are flexible and increase visibility into process performance.
When I had questions or problems, the Help desk responds rapidly and gives me the necessary support.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

At the moment I don't have negative points about this tool.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use EPC to explain BPM to my students. The tool helps us better visualize the connections between organizations' components and between human resources, also the impact of management and employees' decisions on the activities and results.

  ### 18. It was a great experience using Interfacing and it really solved a lot of pain points for us

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akshay R. | Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

EPC's ability to metatag data and arrange them in the form of Swimlanes. The tool offers functionability to view processes in different forms and can be used for detailed analysis as well

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

The tool arranges some of the process diagram in the form of alphabetical order and this is one issue that will hopefully be solved in the latest updates. This is one of the few softwares that releases updates so frequently and thereby most of the problems will be solved in a faster manner.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There is a lack of proper mechanism currently for documenting and arranging processes across the organization and EPC is wonderfully solving this issue by providing a holistic tool that helps to arrange processes functionally and wide variety of other modules like risk, control, KPI etc to gain valuable insights from the processes thereby preventing any risk of process breaks.

  ### 19. It is a good product and support is great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

The product is a great tool because you can see impacts of changes so it is good for change management. From a QA perspective it allows you to build your hierarchy easily. Flexible in that you can model your subprocess or attach documentation. This gives the consumer of the information options as well. Rules module is excellent for highly regulated organizations as you can easily map requirements to process. Gerat features.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

Review and approval of documentation should make changes visible similar to process diagrams.

**Recommendations to others considering Integrated Management System (IMS):**

Its a good product with great support. Very versatile so you can set up to suit how your users will consume information.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 20. Good product, excellent support for Interfacing.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Aviation & Aerospace | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

Central platform for business process, documents, rules and risk management.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

EPC don't yet allow printing of business process on wide format printer or allow export of the business process to SVG that would allow the printing to be done on wide format.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allow to replace static business process that were done in Visio and this allows to link all business process together and assign roles to the different tasks so that user knows their RASCI, and also, allow to link documents to the task to help the execution.

Having the RASCI linked allow then to notify the user that a change happened to their task.

  ### 21. A must for Data Governance and Lineage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

For us, it was important to see the data lineage and the direct impact of each data object, With EPC, we can easily have that perspective and view the direct and downstream impacts. We also like the flexibility that we can have by reusing data objects, such as processes, roles, risks. This brings more efficiency to our program.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

We would prefer some more capabilities around collaboration, like for example when doing changes request. The good thing is we have raised some of our feedback with Interfacing and they are discussing upon adding to the roadmap.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we are using Interfacing as a platform to manage our ongoing data governance, data lineage and overall change management program. The end goal is to maintain conformity with standards such as ISO 9k and ISO 27k,

  ### 22. EPC from Interfacing very rich tool

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

We used EPC within our organization for a POC (Proof of Concept). The objective was to create simple, fast and mutualize operational processes. Usefull for our operational organization, teams and customers. We succeed to demonstrate the add value of EPC tool.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

Nothing. Just adapt our organization for exemple to have a dedicated team in charge of EPC modelisation. THis to gain time and to be more flexible.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before the POC excel, word, ppt and/or visio were used to our processes. Not easy to change and to adapt or processes etc.... EPC is a dedicated tool to do this job !

  ### 38. Using Interfacing EPC to map detailed, complex processes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Etienne P. | Solutions Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

Automatic placement of activities in the mapping is very useful and helps gain a lot of time. Very useful for large process maps.
EPC is generally quite intuitive.
Interfacing Help desk responds rapidly and gives good answers.
The product is quite flexible and has interesting functionalities
Standard Operating Procedures can be automatically generated from EPC, which is very useful when modifications to the process are required.
Processes management is very easy

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

It is a bit difficult to have a good rendering of the processes when they have many activities, if you need to extract them and insert them in a Word document in a letter/A4 format. I have to 1) limit each map to about 5-6 activities and 2) take a shot of the map with SnagIt or another similar tool. The issue is that I have several mapping with the same name (Sometime 12-13 mappings), and the "fake/extra" ones cannot be hidden at the parent level...so to get a shot of the parent, one has to move the extras out of sight. Deleting them in the map will completely delete them. There is also a few bugs where if the map is modified in swimlane mode, after saving the box will reduce itself...so you need to go back and modify the size of the box. This may impact arrows location, which need to be moved again. Those are small but annoying inconveniences. Some actions are not easy to find - for example, switching from a simple, flat graphic mode to swimlane mode for edition purposes is not intuitive.

Help menu is not contextual, so you need to dig in the online manual to find what you need, which can be a challenge, and is not always very useful.
Activities numbering is not automatic, so you need to insert them manually. It would be a nice feature to add, with the possibility of manually inserting the number to have the correct sequence.

**Recommendations to others considering Integrated Management System (IMS):**

Interfacing EPC is a very useful product to draft process maps and Standard Operating Procedures, and managing them on the long run.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EPC helps identify inefficiencies in the processes, so it gets easier to quickly analyze and optimize it.

  ### 39. Great software for all types of businesses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fanny R. | Analyste Amélioration Continue & Logistique, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

The software is very userfriendly and simple to use and personnalize
It simplifies the documentation of complete processes (roles and responsibilities, procedures, KPI's, controls, documents, tools, etc.)
The connections between the different data items allow for simple process maintenance
The software manages the level of access per users
It enables the business to standardize its process documentation
The business can share the published processes to guide operations with its employees while the process can continue to evolve in its draft form, all within the same software
Interfacing is very responsive to its clients' needs and is constantly evolving to answer their needs.
My favorite: it takes 5 seconds to generate a complete, detailed, and fully personalized process guide that usually takes weeks to produce.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

I would love to have more flexibility in mapping the processes (visually speaking), though I'm confident it will be in their development plans.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Standardization of process documentation
Optimization of processes
Greatly accelerating the process guide production and update
Keep the operations informed of the latest version of their processes
Manage the evolution of the processes
A lot energy and time saved in using predefined process templates

Competitors with a track record as special purpose software are even better in certain aspects, e.g.;
- Visualization tools for process management
- Storage systems for document management
- CAPA Management Tools

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Digitization of IMS-typical business objects. In particular, fretext documents are converted to data.

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

The central repository and web-based access made it very easy to collaboratively model, review and approve our software development process. I've worked with Visio, and other process management applications, and the depth of functionality and ease of use is not comparable with that of EPC.

**What do you dislike about Integrated Management System (IMS)?**

I was happy with all aspects of the product and the customer support was very responsive and helpful.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used EPC to standardize our software development process and easily communicate it across the team to ensure alignment. The transparency and clear ownership of roles has also made it a lot easier to make iterative improvements.

Not very easy to create custom templates for generating standard operating procedures as word documents. Needs some effort to get the templates you want if you prefer not to use the generic templates.

**Recommendations to others considering Integrated Management System (IMS):**

Each release frequently comes with new features and improvements. It's useful to ask about new features in the upcoming releases.

**What problems is Integrated Management System (IMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?**
