Based on my personal experience I would recommend getting the training as early as you can and use the reference materials. The plat form may look difficult to use at first but it is really quite easy once you get the training. We are implementing Intellect as our initial quality management system because the platform is easy to use, allows us to upload, create, change and track changes of our documents. We also chose the platform because of the ability to access it in the web, have multiple users, and run it on mobile devices.
When considering Intellect understand that the platform is there to help deal with the documents and processes. There are some templates that make using the platform very easy, but you can also build your own templates and processes (workflows) however you want them.
The customer support has been very attentive. During the process of deciding to go with Intellect it was the attention I was paid by multiple support personnel that made me feel confident that once I purchased the service I would not be left on my own to figure out how to implement and use it.
