The repair cost has drastically reduced . It means more affordability , better asset management . Remote recoveries includes system recovery after OS failures , a security alert and subsequent blocking ,in case if network threat is detected . 2. Increased efficiency and effectiveness with single management console to control and manage Intel based clients , workstations , AMT capable servers .Limited support to only those with Intel AMT firmware . The most important feature is the ability to enable IT to remotely diagnose and fix my computer issues, including taking over my keyboard and mouse Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. This came pre-installed on my Lenovo thinkpad PC but for the most part my external IT team hasn't used this feature (they use alternative solutions to access my computer remotely) -- as such, this is primarily taking up memory Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Intel vPro Manageability: This system or something similar is a Must-Have for remote IT management of PCs, esp. if you are a traveling exec or salesperson.
