"Easy-to-use tool for building automations that make us money"

5/5

What do you like best about Make?

It integrates with every service we see to automate. My connecting it to Claude, we're able to build, adapt and troubleshoot sophisticated automations without having to turn ourselves into developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Make?

For me, it's hard to find something to dislike. If pushed, I'd say that you really need to take the Make University courses to get the best from the tool, and understand concepts such as credit usage, arrays, and logic flows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Make solving and how is that benefiting you?

We built an extremely robust markdown conversion tool for our AI copywriting consultancy. It beats any free tool we've ever used, and we're in control of the data at all times. We've also built tools to watch brands we work with, as well as their competitors. There's nothing like this available commercially, at least not if we want to build different watchlists for each client, and control how the data is used. These watchlists have opened up entire new revenue streams for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visual Canvas Makes Complex Automations Easy to Build and Debug"

5/5

What do you like best about Make?

The visual canvas. When you're building an automation that crosses 5–6 apps, being able to see the whole flow at a glance is genuinely useful, it makes debugging much faster and onboarding clients way easier than pasting a wall of code or config.

The flexibility is also a good point, you can do things that most no-code tools would force you to work around, custom HTTP requests, data transformation with functions, error handling per module. It's not perfect but it covers 90% of what a typical agency workflow needs.

And the pricing model is fair at the start. Compared to Zapier, you get a lot more operations per euro before hitting a wall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Make?

The execution logs are painful to read when something breaks in a complex scenario. Error messages are often vague and you end up having to re-run manually just to trace the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Make solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mainly the glue problem, connecting tools that don't talk to each other natively. CRM, email, Airtable, WhatsApp, webhooks, Make handles the plumbing so I don't have to build custom integrations from scratch for every client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Versatile Tool for Startups and Nonprofits"

5/5

What do you like best about Make?

I like the versatility of Make and the large number of connections it offers. I have never had problems connecting a service in the various projects I have implemented, which really demonstrates its versatility. Additionally, the plan for Nonprofits is super useful, as it provides us with a good base of credits to start operating. I also find the strong community that seeks to solve common problems valuable. We lean towards Make instead of other tools like n8n because we feel that the learning curve has fewer frictions and its initial setup was quite simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Make?

The AI, when it comes to creating or reformulating formulas, didn't work so well for me. It offered me things that, when I pasted them, had errors. So I end up using an external AI to fix formulas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Make solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Make to quickly create MVPs without relying on tech staff. It helps me connect multiple tools to automate processes, such as creating a response bot for donors, which solves operational problems and improves my implementation capacity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visual automation with stable scenarios and affordable pricing"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Make?

I appreciate the visual interface and the fact that I can create automations and hand them over to my client with documentation and guidance so they can maintain them later. I also find the pricing very affordable; today the main alternatives are Make or n8n (the latter is a bit more complex), Zapier (which hosts data in the US only), or Gumloop (which is still a bit young as a company to create flows for clients). The large number of integrations and the stability of the scenarios are key differentiators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Make?

sometimes scenarios enter in a never ending loop which can be destructive if happening on certain scenarios and the lack of some integrations for example with Facebook where I have to use a separate product 'manychat' for those automations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Make solving and how is that benefiting you?

it automates everything that I can automate Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Automation Tool That Eases Workflow"

5/5

What do you like best about Make?

I like that Make is easy to use and pretty intuitive. The way the user interface is set up allows me to see the connections clearly, unlike other platforms where it's harder to visualize. This makes it a bit easier to teach clients how to use Make. Switching from Zapier, I find that Make is much easier and more intuitive, making it my go-to tool now. I also connect Make to just about everything, including Google Sheets, ChatGPT, Canva, and emails, which adds to its versatility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Make?

There were a couple of little hiccups I've had where you can no longer right-click on the wrench. I think it's when the user interface gets updated and you don't know that something's changed. There's no warning of a change. I think if I know that things are changing and what's changed, it makes the experience a bit easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Make solving and how is that benefiting you?

I create automations for social media content, taking 70-80% of work off clients' plates, making it easy for them to run their business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automating Arctic Workflows with Make"

4/5

What do you like best about Make?

What I like most about Make is the flexibility to integrate the tools our team already uses. We connected Google Sheets, automated Gmail notifications, and synchronized information with Asana, which is our main project management platform.

It is not always simple at the beginning and requires some time to understand the logic of scenarios, but once the workflow is set up it becomes a very powerful system. It allows us to automate communication between teams and keep project data updated automatically instead of moving information manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Make?

One challenge with Make is the learning curve when you first start building scenarios. It can take some time to understand how the logic works between modules and how data flows through the system.

Sometimes even a small configuration detail can break the scenario, and it may take time to find the exact issue. Because of that, you need to be careful when setting up workflows and testing them.

However, once you understand how the platform works, it becomes a very powerful tool for automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Make solving and how is that benefiting you?

Make helps us solve the problem of moving information between different tools that our team uses every day. Previously, data from Google Sheets had to be checked and transferred manually into Asana, and team members needed to send emails or messages to notify others about updates.

With Make, we automated these processes. Data from Google Sheets can trigger actions, send Gmail notifications, and update tasks or information in Asana, which is our main project management platform.

This reduces manual work, improves communication between teams, and helps ensure that project information stays accurate and up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the ease of creating a scenario visually with the installed modules. Simply configure each module according to our needs. With the possibility of using AI modules to build useful solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Make?

for me, who is not a developer, there are sometimes a few parameters to configure that require an effort of understanding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Make solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have built a scenario to conduct a press review from US sources using RSS feeds. The articles are grouped by theme and I receive a summary by email every morning, in French, written by an AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Time-Saving Automation with a Learning Curve"

4/5

What do you like best about Make?

I love using Make to automate tedious manual workflows in our ad agency, especially with Asana tasks, so we can respond to issues promptly without manually checking campaigns every day. It’s a huge time saver for automating reports and data downloads, saving us many hours. Make is UI friendly and doesn’t require coding skills, which is fantastic. I find it very easy to connect services and share these connections across teams. It also saves time with debugging workflows and authentication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Make?

While it is user-friendly for non-coders, it still requires a learning curve for which we need to invest a lot of time. And sometimes I feel limited by not having the option to have code automations (with the help of AI) which is more flexible compared to Make. Also, it would help to have an AI assistant in Make that could easily and quickly create deterministic automations. New AI agent feature is good and almost like it but it is not deterministic, e.g. when we need to move data from one source to another one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Make solving and how is that benefiting you?

Make automates tedious workflows, campaign control with Asana tasks, and reporting, saving us hours. It's UI friendly for non-coders and easy to connect and share services, saving time in debugging and authentication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple API connections and quick module changes"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Make?

I find Make very handy because it works quickly and you can easily switch between modules. It's easy to create connections without having to write the code yourself, you just need to link your account. This makes it simple to test new things without having to rewrite your entire API code or connections. This convenience makes using Make pleasant and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Make?

What I find annoying is that when you modify or publish a module, the module number changes. And when you then go to the next modules and want to link the new bubble you just published, you have to manually link it all over again. Just because the number has been changed. So I find that quite bothersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Make solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Make to easily create complex integrations. It allows me to quickly switch modules and test new things without rewriting API code, because integrations happen automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
