While I think Integrate.io is a great product, it still feels a bit like a Beta product: some features are not as robust and complete as I would like. For example:

- They introduced a helpful version control feature that allowed which package version to run in a schedule; however, there is still no way to control subpackage versions in a schedule.

- I wasn't able to insert Null values into a string column without also converting empty strings to Null values.

It is a good platform for those who use small data and don't require a lot of different auth or token methodologies and it is consistent once it works which is great since no maintenance is needed most of the time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Lack of built-in connectors makes the DE create rest API - check if pagination is available- check if it can handle the API limits - for example, if the API can handle 100 campaign ids for 1 API call. Still, since xplenty doesn't have append array logic, it`s 1 API call per 1 campaign id, so because of this, API limits are very quickly achieved, which is a huge drawback.

Any new version that is in the builtin components - I am the one who always has to notify xplenty, or we won't have an API that is working - happens all the time with FB (some endpoints work only for each latest version, such as creative data- event data etc...).

doesnt have oauth or jwt system to fetch credentials.

bq destination doesnt have partition and or cluster logic which is a huge downside.

cant handle big data.... we built our own etl, elt , reverse etl etc.. data pipe lines using airflow, airbyte, docker, Kubernetes, python , dask, pyspark etc...we manage it all due to lack of confidence in the product and the history or bugs that is always duplicates the data by X amount some times up to 10000X, trying to show that there is a bug falls on deaf ears though the customer service is good since we do get answers quickly just no one comes back to us and wants to say yes we have a bug.

if my api returns 10m records and by bq has (ONLY WHEN THE PACKAGE FAILS) suddenly 10B records- this is a bug no matter how you sugar coat it.

apis that returns csv logic or file logic are just to hard to do in xplenty, until we have that logic even from support , (most of the times it is just to bugged)and until we get an answer - we just write code and done in less than a day - prod grad

also it is not possible to create hourly logic or lower ( even 3 times a day updates) due to very high prices- we use python in such cases.

We mainly use Integrate.io's Xplenty platform for simplifying our ETL operations in the AWS environment. It offers an advanced package search feature in which we can customize search modifiers for quick & easy results. It also provides resilient ETL clusters which are allocated to our profile & are dispatched only when we initiate its cluster termination request. It would be great to have more distributed payment plans for our billing cycle. We had a couple of situations in which we weren't able to integrate our customer data source properly and got charged for it. The best part about Integrate.io (formerly Xplenty for me) is the ability to connect data together across silos. In marketing, there are a ton of silos. You have a lot of data you have to work with. You can organize all that data into tables and then you can make that information actionable. Plus you don't have to be a data scientist or engineer to pull it off. Any data ingestion, ETL, and business intelligence tool is going to have a learning curve. You have to learn what the objects and tables look like. You have to get comfortable with the format of SQL and expressions that don't always have the best examples online. "Low code ETL" for sure. The editor has logically separated the design of the task and monitoring execution of the task. Package design with drag and drop of required components makes life easy. It supports a huge list of databases and services as target and source connectors. For data transformation, components like join, select, etc... are easy to understand and use.
