(2 reviews) ## Integrate.io Reviews ### 1. not that great- lack of builtin connectors **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2022 **What do you like best about Integrate.io?** It is a good platform for those who use small data and don't require a lot of different auth or token methodologies and it is consistent once it works which is great since no maintenance is needed most of the time **What do you dislike about Integrate.io?** Lack of built-in connectors makes the DE create rest API - check if pagination is available- check if it can handle the API limits - for example, if the API can handle 100 campaign ids for 1 API call. Still, since xplenty doesn't have append array logic, it`s 1 API call per 1 campaign id, so because of this, API limits are very quickly achieved, which is a huge drawback. Any new version that is in the builtin components - I am the one who always has to notify xplenty, or we won't have an API that is working - happens all the time with FB (some endpoints work only for each latest version, such as creative data- event data etc...). doesnt have oauth or jwt system to fetch credentials. bq destination doesnt have partition and or cluster logic which is a huge downside. cant handle big data.... we built our own etl, elt , reverse etl etc.. data pipe lines using airflow, airbyte, docker, Kubernetes, python , dask, pyspark etc...we manage it all due to lack of confidence in the product and the history or bugs that is always duplicates the data by X amount some times up to 10000X, trying to show that there is a bug falls on deaf ears though the customer service is good since we do get answers quickly just no one comes back to us and wants to say yes we have a bug. if my api returns 10m records and by bq has (ONLY WHEN THE PACKAGE FAILS) suddenly 10B records- this is a bug no matter how you sugar coat it. apis that returns csv logic or file logic are just to hard to do in xplenty, until we have that logic even from support , (most of the times it is just to bugged)and until we get an answer - we just write code and done in less than a day - prod grad also it is not possible to create hourly logic or lower ( even 3 times a day updates) due to very high prices- we use python in such cases. so no we won't recommend this to big data or pre big data, though for small data and usage - yes it is a great tool. **What problems is Integrate.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves our headache dealing with small data since it is a great tool to have, easy to manage, copy-paste packages; we already have docs that describe the usage and use cases and how to achieve each goal while keeping it simple as possible and very fast deployments. For example, our bing, Facebook, and google logic is very good on xplenty, so we use it for all clients, which is very good- almost zero failures and easy and fast replications. Connecting to platforms such as sales force is also super fast and very good!!! I like how simple it is for XML rest APIs- this is probably in my opinion, the most vital thing on xplenty. have data appear on preview button is super nice to have though would be great to have it in a separate window, since we need to look at the structure in order to build logic- so if we will have this - there is no need for postman or such to be also opened while in xplenty. ### 2. It has good support when having issues or suggestions. It has a fairly extensive set of connectors. The preview while developing a package is a nice feature. **What do you dislike about Integrate.io?** The logs are not very descriptive, they could use some improvements like filtering or sorting per date. When developing a package, I'd like to be able to copy and paste some components instead of starting everything from scratch. **What problems is Integrate.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** Xplenty is helping create the data pipelines in my company. ### 4. They have put a lot of effort into building robust solutions very quickly. **What do you dislike about Integrate.io?** Lack of advanced features and customization. Looping is a very important part to accomplish some of our most important API calls - unfortunately this was an area in which Xplenty did not succeed in meeting our expectations. Lack of Python or other programming languages was also an area that held it back from a more fully customization experience. **Recommendations to others considering Integrate.io:** Determine the limits in which you can grow into the product.
