I find a lot of value in the HR assistance from Insperity since we're a small company without an HR professional. Their help in onboarding new employees and consulting on terminations is especially valuable. I also like that they offer benefits and workers' compensation insurance as part of the package, which is hard for small companies like ours to find at a reasonable cost. I feel like it is tricky to track benefits sometimes. Since employees can go in and change things, sometimes they ask me questions that I cannot follow up on. I understand that they are able to call Insperity for answers themselves, but I feel like a little more visibility and easy reporting on where our employees are might be helpful. I would like to be able to go into a specific employee and see what benefits they are signed up for, effective dates, etc., rather than run a report. The downside of Insperity is that too much of a good thing. There are numerous departments/specialists for every aspect of business from implementation to the handover of specialist after the company is onboarded.

There are also numerous links for information for each department that are forwarded but not necessarily reviewed during the implementation. One situation is with payroll onboarding and not advising the tax structure (Insperity files various taxes under their name) and the requirement to close out the tax accounts under the company's name or continue to file quarterly/monthly reports.

I really liked the services Insperity offered, especially how they handle our payroll and benefits packages, including insurance. I like the efficiency of communication and the availability to meet and speak with someone from Insperity. I love the HR help and support offered by Insperity. As someone without an HR background, I feel relieved knowing I can reach out to their qualified professionals anytime I'm unsure about what to do. I also found the payroll process extremely easy to review and submit semi-monthly, which is a huge relief compared to the difficult process I was accustomed to with ADP. I appreciate how streamlined it is to process payroll semi-monthly, and I love being able to use the app to approve the payroll easily. The payroll invoices could be improved by breaking out different types of taxes. This would make it easier to enter into our bookkeeping system. I find Insperity really helpful for benefits management. One of the things that stands out for me is how they provide documentation of benefits, which allowed us to cancel my wife's coverage and save quite a bit of money.
