**What do you like best about Insperity?**

That I am dealing with real people who provide prompt, helpful, and highly relevant responses when I have questions or need help.  I also like that, as a small business, Insperity provides my employees' access to large group health plans - this is a major selling point when we recruit and attract new employees.

**What do you dislike about Insperity?**

I don't have a single negative thing to say about Inperity.

**Recommendations to others considering Insperity:**

There are a number of other technology-based PEOs out there.  When I brought Insperity on board, I evaluated them along the other relevant major PEOs.  Insperity from both a cost and customer service perspective was either highly competitive or just plain superior.  I encourage anyone looking into a PEO, or any executive  dissatisfied with any aspect of their current PEO, to evaluate Insperity.

**What problems is Insperity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a payroll service that was just not meeting our needs and required a lot of hand holding.  We did not have confidence that it could scale along with our growth.  At the same time, our HR and benefits were handled among several different entities.  Insperity solved all of these issues for us.

**What do you like best about Insperity?**

I really appreciate being able to contact many different people depending on the issue or question I have. I’ve never had a problem reaching someone, and even if what I need isn’t in their exact department, they’re able to forward me to the right person who can help. Also, when it comes to service fee charges, they are very open with it all. I can't say the same about many other PEO's who either hide charges, don't itemize them, or raise rates/add extra charges to pre-existing rates.

**What do you dislike about Insperity?**

I can’t really think of much beyond a couple of items. It would be nice to be able to extrapolate the workers’ comp portion and put it out to bid, but I understand why we can’t—it’s a package deal with Insperity, and the cost isn’t egregiously high.

The biggest issue right now is our payroll payment process. When we first joined Insperity two years ago, we were a little tight on money and during one payroll, didn’t have the funds to cover payroll on the day it was due (Tuesday), so we paid it on Thursday or Friday instead. Since then, Insperity has required us to wire the money to them rather than having it pulled automatically, which adds extra work that I don’t love. I’d really like to get this reversed, since we’ve been in good standing for over a year now.

**Recommendations to others considering Insperity:**

You get out what you put in. Insperity is great and will hold your hand, offer advice, and provide support, but they won’t do everything for you (and they shouldn’t). If you take the time to learn the platform and explore what they offer in terms of perks and included services, you can get the most out of it for the price you’re paying.

**What problems is Insperity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HR issues occasionally pop up, and they’ve been a helping hand and an extra ear for advice when I’m dealing with situations that come up with my employees.

Their payroll services are great. They also helped me update my outdated company and employee handbook(s) to reflect modern laws and regulations, and they made it a bigger priority that all employees must sign and agree to them.

Overall, this support frees me up to focus on other parts of the company and takes a lot off my plate. It also helps me sleep better at night knowing we’re not in this alone, and that I have a dedicated team behind me who knows things that I simply don’t.

**What do you like best about Insperity?**

I enjoy the personalized support from both payroll and HR, and having a local HR specialist who is accessible and really gets to know our organization has been incredibly valuable. It's great to be able to pick up the phone and talk to someone who understands our business and provides practical advice. Insperity has helped organize our payroll and supported us through tough HR situations like terminations and layoffs. They've simplified our HR processes, kept us compliant, and been a reliable resource for HR questions, saving us time and stress. I also appreciate the free training opportunities they provide, which have been a great resource in keeping our managers and employees up to date on HR topics and compliance.

**What do you dislike about Insperity?**

I think the overall service is strong, but there is room to improve the technology experience. A more intuitive website, easier navigation, and simplified reporting tools would make it quicker to find information and complete routine tasks. One example is that Time & Attendance does not always go along with payroll and seems to have duplicate processes that need to happen when there are changes related to an employee. Additionally, the portion of the site that handles the 401k sign-up seems to be missing the mark. When new employees start, they are notified that a 401k will automatically start unless they log in to deny it. Maybe a pop-up warning them about the 401k going into effect could improve this, or perhaps all benefits should be better communicated.

**What problems is Insperity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Insperity to organize payroll and handle tough HR situations like terminations and layoffs. They simplify HR processes, keep us compliant, and provide valuable training and personalized support, saving time and reducing stress.

**What do you like best about Insperity?**

The team genuinely wants to support their customers.   Great attitudes and communication.

**What do you dislike about Insperity?**

The disconnection between departments has been the biggest challenge.  Once the sales process is complete you are left to your own to figure out how the company works.    Depending on the number of employees in your company will determine what team you are put on.  I really do not agree with that standard.   A 22 person organization may have the same needs as a 100+ organization.     If you are an owner/operator then you must have resources on staff to manage Insperity.

**Recommendations to others considering Insperity:**

Do your homework and know what you are truly needing in a PEO service provider.   If you are a business doing work for commercial and government contractors, with varying rate(s) and benefit requirements you may be put with a team that does not understand the unique needs of your business.

Customer service is excellent.  Everyone you speak with is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Honestly, I cannot think of anything that I would say I dislike about Insperity.  We do sometime have issues with the time punches not recording, but that may have more to do with our building that Insperity.

**Recommendations to others considering Insperity:**

If you are looking for a friendly and knowledgeable company to handle your HR and Payroll needs, I would highly recommend Insperity.  They care about the client and go above and beyond to make sure they are doing all they can for you.

**What problems is Insperity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HR was a major hurdle for us.  Insperity has benefitted us most by freeing up valuable time that we were spending on payroll and HR; now we have more time to concentrate of other areas.  The more we develop our relationship with Insperity the more we find they can do for us.

**What do you like best about Insperity?**

I worked with a wonderful Insperity employee named Andree, who was very informative about her job and looked up extra info to make sure, 100%, I had the accurate information I needed. I like the easy access to my time card, payroll, PTO, benefits, W2, and 401K. It's very user-friendly. I also appreciate that I did not have to wait long for a CSR to help me, and she was so friendly, asking security info which I appreciated. It's very easy to access, and you don't get frustrated at all. I am very satisfied with Insperity's services, and would rate them a 10 out of 10 on a likelihood scale to recommend.

**What do you dislike about Insperity?**

The ATS is not the most user friendly.

**What problems is Insperity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Insperity's support invaluable for addressing complex health insurance queries. The friendly service and easy access to payroll, PTO, and benefits keep things user-friendly and frustration-free.

**What do you like best about Insperity?**

Hard to comment on the product directly, since we didn't engage. The breadth of services bundled into one offering is appealing on paper for the right kind of business.

**What do you dislike about Insperity?**

The sales experience. Our rep excused his own pricing by saying "even CPAs struggle to follow" the financial document, then labeled $32,094 of net-new annual expense as "Savings." That's misleading, at best. After we declined in writing on May 12 with our reasoning laid out, he bypassed the evaluators and went directly to the company owner five weeks later without copying me, despite being told I was leading the evaluation. How a company sells something tells you how they'll service it.

**Recommendations to others considering Insperity:**

Demand the PEO and co-employer structure terms in plain language up front. Demand the financial breakdown in writing before any meeting. If you name a decision-maker, expect their rep to find a way around her if the answer is no.

**What problems is Insperity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We evaluated Insperity's HR360 PEO offering and did not move forward. The PEO model can solve real problems for businesses with weak workers' comp claims histories or that need full HR outsourcing. It did not solve a problem for us.

They have great folks who try to be responsive and helpful. Payroll has been a bright spot for us.

**What do you dislike about Insperity?**

The lead time to implement something new is a bit unreasonable and hurts our ability to get our business done. In order to get on their time and attendance solution, we are waiting 2 months. We were just quoted 2 to 3 months to get our hourly PTO policy added into our system.

**Recommendations to others considering Insperity:**

Anticipate your needs early and get into their queue before you need to be otherwise you will be waiting forever to have business essentials implemented.

**What problems is Insperity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For a small company, Insperity allows me to offer my employees a "big company" HR and benefits experience without being a big company. And, internally, I don't have to hire HR or Benefits, which saves considerable resources.

**What do you like best about Insperity?**

I use Insperity to clock in, clock out, review documents, view benefits, and check 401K details. I have been a customer for 3 years and at both my previous job and current one. I really enjoy being able to access my 401K and seeing how much investment I've made for myself from my hard work. I was able to complete educational trainings needed for the workplace, like sexual harassment and cybersecurity, which help ensure safety is maintained. I find the accessibility of my 401K a major benefit.

**What do you dislike about Insperity?**

It would be great if Insperity provided services like IVF coverage.

**What problems is Insperity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Insperity for clocking in and out, reviewing documents, and viewing benefits like 401K details. It provides necessary workplace training, ensuring safety and support. I appreciate accessing my 401K to see investments.

**What do you like best about Insperity?**

I find Insperity really helpful for benefits management. One of the things that stands out for me is how they provide documentation of benefits, which allowed us to cancel my wife's coverage and save quite a bit of money. Also, having all the benefits consolidated in one portal is really efficient. It makes it easy to visualize and plan expenditures from my benefits in one place, saving time and avoiding the hassle of switching between multiple webpages. Additionally, I've had pleasant and beneficial interactions with them.

**What do you dislike about Insperity?**

Nothing. All the interactions have been pleasant and beneficial

**What problems is Insperity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Insperity provides documentation of benefits allowing my wife to cancel her coverage, saving us money. Their portal consolidates all benefits, helping me visualize and plan expenditures efficiently, saving time by avoiding multiple webpages.

**What do you like best about Insperity?**

Insperity is a Good company that offers business what they need.  It is the EMPLOYEES of Insperity that are the icing on the cake.  I have yet to speak or have interactions with anyone who was not welcoming, helpful and just nice.  There will always be questionable situations that pop up, by knowing the there is an actual person on the other end working to help me solve the problem is FANTASTIC!!  I can honestly say they are work WITH ME not for me and that makes all of the difference.

**What do you dislike about Insperity?**

There is a learning curve to the online platform, and can be a bit overwhelming but once you get there it is great.

**Recommendations to others considering Insperity:**

If they are thinking that Insperity will remove them from the picture, they would be wrong.  They need to understand that Insperity enhances and completes what they should already have in place.  Meaning, does Insperity process your payroll, YES, but you still have to feed them the correct information.

**What problems is Insperity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We moved over to Insperity for several reasons -- We needed a Time Clock program that would work with us, feed the hours to payroll and be accurate as well as good benefits for our employees.  Insperity has solved all of the issues we were working through and more. 

1 - Time Clock -- Benefit to us -- Employees are accountable and responsible for their time the Geo Fencing is great, no "Ghost Employees".
2 - Time Card to Payroll -- Benefit to us -- once time is approved, straight into payroll and Kristy does her magic!!!  I just have to review, saves me hours.
3 - HR Assistance -- Benefit to us -- WOW!!!  There is quite a bit to HR. Yes, we still have to "handle"  issues when they arise, but the ability to call Beverley and have her knowledge and guidance saves us from looking up everything and she helps to keep the Human in HR.
4 - OSHA Compliance -- Benefit to us -- the Safety Sheets are GREAT!!!  We use them for the Monthly meetings and they keep things straight to the Basic Knowledge and simple instructions to follow
5 - WorkComp --- Benefit to us --- I love, love, love the fact that once I submit, they take EVERYTHING from there and all I need to do is file the copies!!!!
6 - Health, Dental and Vision Insurance -- Benefit to us -- United Heath Care is accepted pretty much everywhere in OKC.  Insurance does not have to the Expensive to be Good.  Our plan is perfect, lots of options for different coverage, but I have found all of the plans to be affordable with really good coverage.

**What do you like best about Insperity?**

I appreciate how the Insperity crew made the transition extremely easy for us, despite the process being a little overwhelming. They were great at helping me get the information I needed and made the transition smoother. I find the payroll system extremely valuable. Moving our insurance to the Insperity platform was also extremely helpful. The people at Insperity are amazing, particularly Yvonne and Nicholas, who always help me take care of what I need.

**What do you dislike about Insperity?**

The transition from our previous payroll system to Insperity was a little overwhelming because there was a lot to move over. We added their applicant tracking system earlier in the year, and it's still a bit overwhelming; I feel like I need to retrain because I don't use it often, so I tend to forget. There are some things in the system that could be improved. My previous system allowed me to upload and save all kinds of documents related to a specific employee, essentially creating a digital employee file, which I don't have as effectively with Insperity. Also, some changes that need to be made on a payroll, like time off accruals, were things I could do myself on the previous system, but with Insperity, the staff has to do it. (They are always willing to help, though!)

I find Insperity helps me with payroll and HR policies. Their payroll system is valuable to me, and it has been extremely helpful in transitioning our insurance onto their platform.

**What do you like best about Insperity?**

I really appreciate the people at Insperity being very welcoming and helpful. The learning tools provided are fantastic, especially the excessive learning videos that help our employees learn about HIPAA and other topics. The ability to create a course, assign it to people, and keep track of them completing the courses is a valuable feature. Moreover, the valuable information inside the courses and the many options for different insurances are a great help. I also find keeping track of PTO through Insperity very useful. Our assigned specialist, Katharine, is always very responsive and helpful!

**What do you dislike about Insperity?**

I find the way that the PTO is outlined could be improved.

**What problems is Insperity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Insperity to learn about HIPAA regulations, track PTO, and provide medical insurance. The learning videos are valuable, allowing me to create courses, assign them, and track completion. The resources include many options for different insurances and help in keeping track of PTO.

**What do you like best about Insperity?**

The basic payroll processing functions work as intended when there are no system errors.

**What do you dislike about Insperity?**

I am writing this to bring an operational and customer service failure to the attention of Insperity’s executive leadership.
After joining my company, I immediately completed my HSA enrollment. Due to an internal Insperity system glitch, my enrollment data was never transmitted to Optum Financial.
Despite proactively reaching out to flag that my deductions were missing, Insperity’s support team continuously avoided accountability. Instead of acknowledging their data transmission error, they copy-pasted IRS eligibility guidelines and blamed their banking partner, Optum.
When I requested a routine operational guarantee—asking them to confirm that the technical issue was resolved before I manually adjusted my payroll to "catch up" on missed contributions—the support team completely ignored the question. They refused to confirm if my account was active or provide payroll deadlines, offering zero assurance that the system wouldn't fail a second time.

**Recommendations to others considering Insperity:**

I recommend prospective buyers closely examine how Insperity handles benefits exceptions and system errors before signing a contract. Clients pay a premium for a PEO to manage benefits seamlessly. When internal technology glitches occur, buyers should expect operational accountability, proactive data tracking, and clear communication—not rigid, scripted responses that leave the employee to figure out workarounds on their own.

They handle our standard HR, benefits administration, and payroll processing, which help consolidate core HR tasks into a single platform.

I find the customer service to be very high at Insperity. Practically everyone I have spoke to is happy and willing to help.

**What do you dislike about Insperity?**

Occasionally, I am not able to get my answers solved immediately. So having to wait for the appropriate answer is sometimes hard when you are in a time crunch for the information.

**Recommendations to others considering Insperity:**

I would recommend that both other employers and employees give Insperity a shot. The customer service is good and the platform is stable. I think whoever chooses them will be very happy in the long run.

**What problems is Insperity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I really enjoy the layout of the site and ease of access to information. The benefits, pay stub, 401k, etc are easily found using the website.

Having a dedicated person to contact when I have questions or need assistance.

**What do you dislike about Insperity?**

The call center can be confusing and unless I ask clarifying questions, I may not get to the resolution I need.

**Recommendations to others considering Insperity:**

Encourage employees to learn how to use and navigate the portal. Resources are available to them if they take the time to ask questions.

**What problems is Insperity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The reason for the call today was regarding a change in status that would allow for FSA enrollment mid-year. I was able to get the answers I needed and have the correct form shared with me to proceed. Aside from that, I work with my payroll specialist and HR frequently and with their assistance things always go smoothly.

They seem to keep trying to update the software, which can be confusing to our employees and to me as an Admin. 
I'd like to see Insperity set up zoom meetings to go over any changes that are coming up to explain what they are doing. Also any HR laws that are changing so we can be aware without having to depend on reading a memo that could be overlooked.

I find Insperity's benefits surpass those of other PEOs. Insperity greatly simplifies payroll, timesheets, and PTO management. The software for timesheets and performance evaluations is much simpler to use compared to other PEO software.

I think Insperity is too expensive even though their benefits are good. The trainings usually feel bloated or irrelevant to my work. I wish they were pre-recorded videos instead of live lectures because live sessions rarely fit into my schedule. There's too much focus on being DEI-centric and progressive ideologies, which feels incredibly preachy in trainings. Insperity could cut unnecessary positions and reduce payroll to let customers benefit from lower overhead costs.

I like that I can see my paychecks pretty easily through Insperity and see a snapshot of my 401k. The app provides at least an overview of my finances on my phone, which is better than what I had with TriNet. It's definitely convenient to see my FSA balance and be able to view the details of my paycheck all in one place. I also appreciate that the support is pretty quick and the people I talk to are knowledgeable and can answer my questions, even in the wrong departments.

It's a little annoying that I have to go to another website to see more details. It is a little annoying to submit the FSA claims. Insperity doesn't seem to offer the ability to easily compare paystubs, which I found valuable. It would also be nice if I could actually submit my claims on the Insperity app itself versus needing to go to the provider every single time.

If they do not do all areas of HR, then they cannot provide guidance.  Recently asked a question regarding the SOS codes, and was told they can't answer questions becasue they don't have job descriptions, or we do our own.  When I call to inquire on a problem I get more from the HR person than we do with our payroll specialist.  I am not sure I have even spoken with the new client liaison.

**Recommendations to others considering Insperity:**

Just know if you do any part of the HR function, they will not be willing to assist in some areas.

Insperity provides a clean, clear breakdown of my income and taxes, and the quick overview is very easy to understand.

It was very challenging for me to sign up for health insurance. It took four phone calls and several emails, and there was a breakdown within Insperity while getting my platform set up.

Inspire is an excellent, intuitive platform that’s easy to use and makes it simple to navigate my financial platform.

The issues that were resolved involved logging in properly and needing to reset my password. This was beneficial because I wasn’t able to change my password successfully before.

I find Insperity helpful with payroll and providing good benefits. What stands out the most for me is their customer service, which I found to be the best. They are quick to respond, and I remember an instance where she guided me through adding my child to my insurance, sharing her screen and walking me through the process. The services are perfectly fine as they are, and I see no need for any changes.

I've been using Insperity for six years mainly for benefits and payroll, and they've done a good job. They have a good unit, and I find the interface user-friendly. The people on the phone are always helpful, and the help desk is excellent. I don't have any suggestions for improvement, which is great.
