They provide comprehensive HR services and support, and they’re incredible with group insurance. They were able to get us coverage and pricing we couldn’t access on our own with only seven employees. We really value the human connection we have with our specialists. Whenever we have questions, we usually receive an email or a call back within the same day. The biggest issue we have had is with the Time and Attendance department. Their response time to questions is not the best. As we grew to 20 and now 35 employees, we needed support managing hours (time and attendance), payroll, and HR services. The lead time to implement something new is a bit unreasonable and hurts our ability to get our business done. In order to get on their time and attendance solution, we are waiting 2 months. There is only few personnel taking care of our business account making it easy to make a call if question arises. And daily processing is very organized and simple. Employees are co employed with Insperity which sometimes confuses employees but after explanation to an employee there has never been an issue. Our payroll service reps are top notch, and our local (field office) rep Nik is always quick to respond and assist with escalations when the "support channel" reps respond with a "generic answer" when we're needing a "specific response" to solve a "specific issue" for our "specific business". If not for the help of our local office rep, I'd basically be speaking with a different person every time I needed assistance and I'd have to explain our business/our staff/our policies. They're easily accessible and willing to explain issues to me that I don't fully grasp. This is critical to me, as I run an organization and have no HR background. The only issue is that it's not always crystal clear to me whom I should contact about an issue, but they do have a point person for me so that makes it easier. I use Insperity to clock in, clock out, review documents, view benefits, and check 401K details. I have been a customer for 3 years and at both my previous job and current one. I really enjoy being able to access my 401K and seeing how much investment I've made for myself from my hard work. I was able to complete educational trainings needed for the workplace, like sexual harassment and cybersecurity, which help ensure safety is maintained. The service fees with Insperity are quite high compared to competitors, which is a big consideration as we grow. It would be helpful if they could package together elements for strong employee onboarding, such as the offer letter, handbook, rules, and email, instead of sending them in bits and pieces. It can be a bit convoluted and hard to find what you are looking for in terms of reports or doing things like changing an employees FTE or Hourly status.
