What do you like best about Insightful?

I find Insightful easy to use, which is really important for managing remote employees efficiently. The process of adding new employees is straightforward, making my work less cumbersome. I switched from Hive Desk because Insightful offers better cost-efficiency, ease of use, and background monitoring without the need for a separate login. What do you dislike about Insightful?

I think Insightful could improve by adding a way to document where downtime was spent. When an employee shows as inactive online, they might still be doing other tasks, like working on paper or handling phone calls, and there's no way to track this downtime currently. What do you like best about Insightful?

I use Insightful to track the performance of our remote or offsite staff, and I like that it's a great tool that helps me provide insight to the company about what our remote staff are doing. I’m able to see their activity level and how they are using their time, which makes a big difference because we know they have 8 hours per day, but now I can monitor how much of those hours are actually spent working or being active. Although the setup took a bit of time, once everyone got used to the system, it became easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Insightful?

The settings or setup can be a bit complicated. Also, we need to make sure the apps our staff are using are updated so it reflects correctly their activity and work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

And it's great Insightful is proving just as effective for your on-site team as your remote one. It was never just a remote-monitoring tool, and monitoring is only a fraction of it: at its core, this is a full workforce intelligence platform, turning utilization data into something you can act on - spotting what's driving the most impact, where small changes unlock real gains, and how to amplify what your strongest people already do well, in the office or at home.

As for the duplicate triggers when someone switches laptops, happily, that's an easy one to sort. Our "merge" function pulls those duplicates back into one clean record, and the team would gladly walk you through it in detail, just drop them a line.

What do you like best about Insightful?

I really like Insightful because it is very intuitive and I didn't need long training to understand how it works. It presents the information very clearly, which brings a lot of efficiency in the way of using the application. Furthermore, I found it extremely easy and intuitive to set up, without many problems. There's a real exhale in never having to chase a timesheet again! That weekly grind of nudging people for hours is a fine thing to be rid of, and the invoices falling into place off the back of it is the quiet bonus.

On mobile... There isn't a native Insightful app right now, so on your phone you're only seeing a thin slice of what the desktop does, which is where the full experience currently lives. That's why it feels so limited away from the laptop. We do get what a constraint that is when you're on the move.

The wish for proper on-the-go access is going straight to our dev team.

That's a strong footing to bill from and long may it last, and pull us in anytime as things grow.

In terms of productivity tracking, it is far superior than any other product out there. Schedule adherence and navigation/usage tracking works as it should, providing relevant details as to our workforce activities.
