What do you like best about Insightful?

UI/UX

1. One of the standout features in the UI/UX is the screenshots module. Screenshots are easy to manage and review, which significantly helps in verifying the legitimacy of user activity—even when applications or websites are categorized as productive. This adds an extra layer of assurance in monitoring daily operations.

2. Another UI/UX feature I appreciate is the Productivity Module in the settings. This allows me to closely review application usage during operations and ensure that only authorized and allowed applications are being used within our environment. The layout is intuitive, making reviews efficient and straightforward.

Integration

1. The integration of Insightful with our internal systems is another major advantage. It enables our timekeeper to easily extract and validate Work-From-Home (WFH) schedules without manual intervention. This seamless integration improves accuracy and reduces administrative effort.

Performance

1. In terms of performance, the application runs reliably during daily use. Data such as activity logs and screenshots load consistently, supporting smooth reviews without disruption.

Support

Based on my previous experience, the main concerns are related to certain limitations of the software.

1. Data Retrieval Across Managers

The system is unable to properly retrieve or consolidate historical data when staff are reassigned to different managers. This makes it challenging to track continuity of records and review past activity accurately once organizational changes occur.

2. Manual Time Filing Limitations

Filing manual time is challenging from a staff perspective. It is difficult to accurately track the exact time when manual time entries occurred, and there is no option to overwrite or adjust break time when necessary.

As an improvement, I suggest allowing staff to directly click on the activity or idle-time bars where the gap occurred. This would make manual time filing more intuitive and provide a smoother, more user-friendly experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Insightful solving and how is that benefiting you?

Primary Problem Addressed

The primary problem our organization faced was employee misuse of working hours, particularly involving insider employees who were logged in and physically present in the office but were not actively working during those hours. Additionally, there were instances of unauthorized use of application software that were not included in our approved or allowed software list.

By having visibility into user activity, idle time, and application usage, the system helped us identify these issues more effectively. It allowed management to verify whether employees were genuinely working during their declared hours and ensured that only authorized applications were being used within the environment. "Effortless Time Tracking with Stellar Support"

What do you like best about Insightful?

I use Insightful for time tracking on Project Vega, and I find that it makes my time tracking really easy. I like the user interface; it's really easy to use. The support is quite great, and they helped me quickly when I had issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The updates. One has to be mindful of settings on the computer one uses, because there's an annoying prompt that pops up tirelessly interrupting your workflow, if this app isn't updated and you are in the middle of use. "Easy Time Tracking with Room for Improvement"

What do you like best about Insightful?

I use Insightful for registering and keeping track of the time I spend on projects. I love its ease of use. It's very easy for me to set up, and it makes sure I am tracking time spent in real time, giving me an at-a-glance overview. I mostly use its daily tracking of time spent on projects. What do you dislike about Insightful?

"Intuitive and Effective, but with Minor Issues"

What do you like best about Insightful?

I like that Insightful is quite intuitive and easy to use. An employee can easily clock in and clock out at the end of the day, and as administrators, obtaining information for reports and measuring usage is quite simple to obtain and read. Additionally, the initial setup of Insightful was quite straightforward, the information is easily understood, and it was not difficult to get this tool up and running for productive use. I have noticed problems with the application, mainly that it sometimes records incorrect information or suddenly stops working. It only takes us a few minutes to resolve it by removing, but it remains a minor issue for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
