I find Insightful user-friendly and really appreciate how it tracks productivity and usage for each application and website on all computers. It's also easy to generate reports showing how much a specific website or application is being used, either for the entire company or by individual employees. I also switched from ActiveTrak and Teramind to Insightful because it gathers more information like screenshots and short videos. Plus, the initial setup was very easy. Leaving a couple of established tools behind is no casual switch and it means a lot that the richer detail, the screenshots and short videos, is what tipped you our way. Better still, you're already well past plain monitoring: Turning app-and-website usage into reports for the whole company or a single person is the workforce-intelligence layer doing its thing. Its less about watching, more about seeing which tools pull their weight and where to double down. Stretching reports to a full year instead of six months is a useful ask, handy for year-over-year patterns, and we're passing it along to our product team. You clearly know what you want from a tool like this, so as you lean further into the reporting and analytics, we're glad to go as deep as you need. As someone working remotely, I find it useful to have a visual representation of my productivity, which I didn't have in my previous organization. For example, if an employee is out for one day, it seems the calculation is only based on the four days they worked. The timer's visibility, status emails and the like - is often set by how your organization has Insightful configured, so that early gap may well trace back to their setup rather than the app itself.
