What do you like best?

Insider’s segmentation and AI-infused journey builder tools really help marketers create unique customer journeys across channels in a seamless manner. When we combine this with their various products for web, mobile web and app what you get is an amazing tool that has you covered for any situation. What do you dislike?

Our goal was to create these omnichannel experiences that meet each user’s individual requirements. We also wanted a solution that would enable us to communicate with your customers across multiple channels like emails, web push, app push and Ads. with Insider, we found a one-stop solution for all of this—their behavioural segmentation feature and intent-based targeting helped us target users individually across all touchpoints of their journey with us and we’ve seen our key-engagement metrics improve significantly in just under 3 months. What do you like best?

The support from Insider’s growth team and our strategic account managers is the highlight of our interactions with the platform. The scenarios they provide us with and the real-time support we get when we are creating personalization campaigns have been a life-saver on many occasions. What do you dislike?

The platform is amazing and brings great results, so it’s hard to find something to dislike. But one thing we find undesirable is the limitations with the type of content we can use with InStory. Driving traffic to our website was a challenge from the start. We wanted to start using personalization solutions on our website to improve the traffic, and we found Insider’s platform to contain all the solutions we were looking for. Once we started using the platform full fledged, we saw a great improvement in the user engagement on our website, and engagement with the web push notifications also improved. What do you like best?

We have seen a very supportive and hands-on approach to the table from Insider, they’ve taken extreme care in mapping their products to our unique challenges and thereby creating a custom solution architecture for us. Another great feature we like about Insider is their exit-intent overlay messages that are highly effective at engaging users who are about to leave the site with personalized content, helping us considerably increase our session durations and optimizing conversions. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We realized that a vital part of our goal was to focus on delivering the most relevant products to the right users when it counts. With Insider we’ve observed an immense improvement in many vital metrics, such as a healthy reduction in our cart abandonment rates, and browser abandonment rates while observing a promising uplift in conversions. Also, more than 60% of our traffic comes from new visitors, which made it imminent for us to focus on enhancing our new visitor experiences such as product discovery and re-engagement strategies which go beyond just traditional email marketing. Exit-intent was another feature that we’ve tried and liked. We’ve implemented 2 variations of this feature and our recovery rate has been 1.23% with a 101.59% uplift in conversion rates from these campaigns. We’re also impressed by Insider’s cart abandonment recovery features, which is part of their conversion suite. What do you like best?

Insider’s recommendation tool is the most powerful that I’ve seen so far, the results are immediate and highly effective in improving customer engagement. Our fundamental challenges were to improve use experience on our site, optimize the recommendations on our product pages and improve key conversion metrics. During this year, we managed to improve our conversion rate by 14% and also observed an uplift in our AOV by 32.9% after using Insider. Insider’s web push product works amazing well at giving results, infact our conversion rate from Insider’s Conversion Push Notifications was 2X higher than the industry average. What do you like best?

The most impressive things about Insider are their Web Push feature and Smart Recommender engine, but the thing that sets Insider apart is that they not only provide the technology but also the support and have an active account management process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of our top focus was to improve the traffic to our website. We were looking for ways to increase page views and pages per session, which is when we decided to try out a POC with Insider. We soon realized that Insider’s web push turned out to be a major driver for generating traffic. We also observed that our web push opt-in rate was higher than the industry average. We also made use of their exit-intent technology to improve our retention rates and paired it with Smart Recommender which greatly improved our pageviews. What do you like best?

The ability of Insider’s products to adapt quickly and innovate based on the digital trends is something we love about the platform. One of their products, InStory is something that has helped us drive some really spectacular results. The responsiveness from Insider’s support team is the biggest help we could get, they are knowledgeable and help us with any problem we face on our campaigns and while using the platform. Insider’s Smart Recommender. The AI powered engine was able to provide visitors a better onboarding experience, shortening the product discovery time. Then there is the hands-on approach of the accounts team, where they provide us with valuable and insightful suggestions on how we can optimize our campaigns for the best results.

1. Not a fully translated panel, we need to spend some time to pick it up. That being said the panel is easy to navigate and standard across regions which means once we get a hang of it, it’s a breeze to work on it.

We successfully lowered our bounce rate and reduced drop-offs across our customer’s life cycle. In general, with Insider’s smart recommender, we have a steady average monthly CR uplift of 15%. Our next step with Insider would be Instory. With only launching the feature 14 days, we were able to shorten product discovery time for our visitors. Successfully brought a good amount of incremental revenue and generated 31% of AOV uplift.

We find it very comfortable to use Insider by ourselves, and also make use of their segmentation to deliver just the kind of personalized and engaging content that we create to each and every individual user. We’ve always wanted to build a sustainable traffic flow from our owned channels. One of the ways we wanted to achieve this was through creating unique customer journeys that covered cross-channel touchpoints. Insider has the right tool for this - Architect. Using this we’ve been able to engage our users with web push notifications, and the traffic from these has the 2nd highest engagement after organic traffic. The automated push using Architect has enabled us to realize almost 7X uplift in CTR as compared to manual push notifications. We chose Insider Smart Recommender to optimise our main metrics (AOV and CR) and it definitely worth it. We singled our users in a smart way by dividing them into user personas to provide to this specific group of users more relevant content and motivate them to make a purchase by offering them products according to their user behavior. This strategy was offered by our strategic account management team. Also we can mention the huge number of different algorithms we use. What do you like best?

It would be fair to say that what we like best is the endless possibilities the platform offers when it comes to onsite personalization. Their web suite has all the tools required to optimize some of the most challenging metrics from reducing bounce rates to improving conversion rates and AOV. Insider’s Recommendation engine is another great tool that we like, we are able to deliver highly contextualized recommendations to each user segments and this has helped us boost our personalization and engagement rate on the website. What we really enjoy about using Insider is their segmentation capability which helps us to engage with users in a very efficient way. One of our biggest challenges before Insider was how to get our users to actively engage on our website, particularly the mobile web as almost all our traffic is generated by the mobile web. We tried using standard banners and carousels, but with limited results. With Insider, we were able to show these amazing stories on our mobile web using their InStory product. The engagement improvement was almost immediate and our CTR increase 2X from before. What do you like best?

One of the challenges that we had was getting the customer to understand the product nature of ACE hardware. And with Insider we could do that, reach different segments of the market and target customers in multiple ways, though recommendation, app notifications and many other channels throughout their journey. It wasn't just about giving the customers offers or incentives, but actually persuading them to take the next step and complete the purchase! I wouldn't say dislike, but maybe something I hope to have, I have seen the gamification module that you offer, I would say that I would have hated not to have it. We have ideas as a business and we want to bring it to life and we wanted to be done right away and i really wish that you could have a team that can customize what we want, so i wish you had a team that can take our ideas and convert it into reality and just give it to us which you are doing now in a more structured way. Before we started using the push notifications and creating these segments we had seen that the conversion rates from the abandoned carts rate has increased and we had 30% increase in open rate through push notifications and also conversion from that push has been great, so we are getting from that 30% open rate, roughly 15 to 20 conversions from one single push which is a very high number for us in that sense and these notifications are segmented, it is not a bulk push. So from that one push, within 4 hours we had roughly around 20 people buying that item! And not just that, we had people coming to the store asking for that one item that they saw in the push and that is because of the nature of the product, they wanted to see if it would fit their house. One of the things that really impressed us about Insider was its unified data layer. We can segment users based on past, real-time and predicted behavioural and use it on any channel. The main issues we faced were increasing conversion rate, activating users (in other words, developing omnichannel) and working on the Sportmaster brand in the direction of a pro-sports retailer. It was important to convey to customers that Sportmaster is a store for everyone: here you can buy both goods for everyday use and professional equipment.

One of the ways to solve these problems for us was to implement personalization on the desktop, on the mobile web, as well as personalization and push notifications in the mobile application. In particular, I can highlight the work with Insider technology for mobile applications. A good example is the campaign launched for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. What do you like best?

We can easily create notification push, banners, run campaigns using pre-built templates, and target customers with relevant recommendations using powerful segmentation. Also, the support from their account team is amazing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Some of the customization to campaigns that we want takes time and requires a dedicated person, but considering the dedicated support we get from Insider, it’s not really a strain. Recommendations to others considering the product:

Should have around 3 members to use this tool. For customer journeys, we should analyze and review the logic carefully before deploying content. It's a good choice for using apps with more than 50K customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our goal has been to engage customers with personalized communications and user journeys. Insider’s segmentation capabilities make it easy to target individual users with content that’s relevant to their behavior. What do you like best?

We particularly like the efficiency of their web push and personalization products. This AI-powered tool is perfect for providing customers with the best individualized user experience.

Right now we are just at the very beginning of our cooperation but we want to optimize the engagement at each stage of the funnel with the help of Insider. We have implemented web push and personalization products to improve conversion rates. And it immediately showed good results. What do you like best?

The product itself and the way Insider accounting team works. They analyze current metrics of the site and provide great expertise in terms of recommendation engine and personalization. If you think of trying Insider just set some testing period for yourself, for example 6 month. Believe me, it worth testing. Usually you can see first results already in 2-3 weeks after the integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The Main KPI was to increase CR rate and see the ROI. Before Insider, we were using standard recommendation technology. These old recommendations were not satisfying for us, as they had only two blocks (main page and product) and had no algorithms' logic behind and they were not generating good amount of revenue as well as CR was low. We did an A/B test of our old recommendations VS Insider's ones. We started working with Insider's recommendations by testing different algorithms for blocks to get to the one performing better. The result was awesome - ROI 387x.

Once we started using Insider, we were able to improve our web and mobile web metrics significantly. Initially, we were struggling with optimizing our revenue, improving our conversion rates and AOV. With the help of Insider’s web and mobile web capabilities combined with their smart recommendations, we started seeing great improvements in our engagement across web and mobile.
