Data breaches are arguably one of cyber security's most sensitive and detrimental aspects. Exposure of seemingly harmless information, such as email addresses and passwords, can reveal a lot of sensitive information about us, exposing us to threats like impersonation and fraud. InsecureWeb is an excellent tool to safeguard against these adverse effects of data breaches. This tool is designed to notify us if there is ever a data breach matching our organization's or workforce's credentials. This alert will allow us to act quickly enough before the exposed data can be used for malicious activities Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about InsecureWeb? While InsecureWeb is excellent at detecting organizational data matching information from data breaches, I do not think the tool currently offers solutions against the same. Therefore, delays in acting can result, which can significantly increase the chances of our data being used maliciously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is InsecureWeb solving and how is that benefiting you? Most people have a problem recalling complex passwords, which prompts them to set up easy-to-guess access credentials. This practice exposes the organization to unauthorized access since some passwords might be contained in dictionaries meant for brute-force attacks. InsecureWeb enables our organization to proactively ensure that none of our employees has vulnerable access credentials. And if they do have, the alerts sent out by the tool prompt them to change to stronger access credentials. InsecureWeb thus acts as an additional layer of safety against catastrophic data breaches.
