"All-in-one tool that makes project work smoother"
5/5
What do you like best about Innoslate?

What I like most is that it combines so many useful features in one place - requirements, diagrams, task tracking, and planning. When working on big projects with different teams, the live collaboration really helps everyone stay updated. The visual diagrams are also great for explaining ideas clearly, even to people who aren’t very technical. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Innoslate?

Sometimes there are more options on the screen than I actually need, which can make it feel a little cluttered. The interface could be a bit more modern, and very large projects can sometimes load a little slowly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Liz Steiner of Innoslate

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you found Innoslate easy to read and modify, and that the cloud-based approach supported your work without added setup.

It’s also good to hear that the workflow and diagram capabilities were useful for communicating detail and structure.

If there are areas where Innoslate didn’t fully meet your needs, we’d value that input. Our team continues to refine the platform based on real engineering use cases, including usability, workflows, and model clarity.

We appreciate you engaging with Innoslate and wish you the best in your future work.

"A simple tool for MBSE and systems engineering that’s easy for everyone to use"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Innoslate?

Even a newbie in Model-Based Systems Engineering can operate Innoslate quite easily. My ‘team’ and I can collaborate effectively use the web-based platform no matter where we are or what devices we use, which is the greatest feature. Simulation, version control, and full reporting are features that can help Lean Modeling Language based modeling approach to continue supporting yet paper process operations simplify a move. We can now enjoy much clear and of high quality documentation since system models and functional diagrams could be rapidly developed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Innoslate?

The simulation part of the tool is really cool, but maybe just too many features and no obvious way around it can be a little intimidating. Also, cross-platform processes might be even better if more tightly integrated with tools such as MATLAB. Also noted some minor interface inconsistencies, but usually, the update’s rid of it. Response from Liz Steiner of Innoslate

Thank you for your review. We’re glad to hear that Innoslate is providing a centralized place to manage requirements with clear traceability and version control. Keeping everything connected and organized is critical for complex projects.

We also appreciate your point about the learning curve. Innoslate is designed to support deeper systems engineering workflows, and we continue to improve onboarding and usability to help teams get up to speed more quickly. You will be happy to know that SPEC Innovations is releasing a new Learning Hub with a free on-demand Innoslate course, coaching, and more at the beginning of April.

It’s great to know that your team now has a controlled, structured way to manage project requirements. That foundation helps teams stay aligned and move forward with confidence.
