"Vectorize with Inkscape"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Inkscape?

From my point of view, Inkscape is an excellent free tool that allows you to vectorize image files and convert them into vector files that you can export in different formats. The software offers powerful tools to generate the output file tailored to your needs. In my case, I have used it to generate gcode files to engrave logos, shields, drawings, etc., with both professional machine tools and 3D printers adapted with a "maker" philosophy to be able to use them for engraving on wood or similar materials. What do you dislike about Inkscape?

In general, there is nothing specific that I dislike about Inkscape, but if we compare it with other similar commercial software, one might miss some tools that automate the vectorization of more complex images. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent and Free Design Tool"
5/5
What do you like best about Inkscape?

I like that I can edit and export multi-layered vector images. This is great for a lot of scenarios in design, not only digital design, but print design also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inkscape?

There is definitely a learning curve. But once you're over it, you're good to go and I think the learning curve is a valid payoff for having a free open source product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Inkscape: Empowering Vector Editing for Free"
5/5
What do you like best about Inkscape?

I appreciate the fact that Inkscape is free to use. Previously, I used paid vector editing software, but Inkscape allows me to accomplish nearly everything I used to do with a paid program. With this tool, I can edit my vectors, convert images into vectors, and, as I mentioned earlier, it's completely free of charge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inkscape?

Understanding the interface can be a bit challenging initially, and it takes some time to learn how to use it. However, there are plenty of online tutorials available that can assist you in getting acquainted with its functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Open Source designer"
5/5
What do you like best about Inkscape?

IT IS FREE!!!! It has all the features that competitors offer except the fancy AI features of Adobe Illustrator. Offers great support for SVG formats and now supports CMYK and RGB, which is a game changer for printing needs as well, so great integration. You can make anything you want quite easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inkscape?

Not the best support as fewer users so fewer online resources. There is still a bit of a learning curve to this as it is a professional software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"THE BEST FREE SVG EDITOR SO FAR"
5/5
What do you like best about Inkscape?

The part I like about Inkscape the most is that it is FREE and provides functionality and features just like those payment-required vector data editors do, which is lovely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inkscape?

Well, I guess it is more like my personal problems. Inkscape could be very difficult sometimes, and there is no much result online to teach me how I can do certain things with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Inkscape?

Making vector images for our marketing needs. Creating files that work for our school's products like shirts and other icons and logos that can be scaleable. I would say that I use this program a lot. It works well with Gimp too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inkscape?

There is honestly not too much I do not like because I can easily export and use it for editing vector images. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Inkscape is a capable open-source vector graphics package"
4/5
What do you like best about Inkscape?

All the vector drawing tools I need for free.

Mature drawing software that has added many useful features over time.

Lots of filters to add artistic touches.

Has many of the tools and features of high end graphic packages such as Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator without the high subscription costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inkscape?

A bit of a steep learning curve to master this program.

Missing some of the high end publishing features of Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator, but these are very expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
