For large-scale organisations like ours, which often has data growing exponentially, it has been of great help to improve the application performance by archiving the historical/obsolete data. **What do you dislike about Informatica Data Archive?** Downtime for maintenance sometimes causes delays during month-end consolidations that make the application unavailable. The support teams keep us informed before commencing any major archival. **What problems is Informatica Data Archive solving and how is that benefiting you?** As mentioned earlier, we had siloed applications and databases that contained many GBs of historical and obsolete data that were no longer or rarely used for reporting, with the use of this tool we realized the boost of application performance and reduction of infrastructure costs by a significant difference compared to other tools and could focus more on the business outcomes instead of worrying of data archival tools. ### 2.
