The IDQ Developer tool has productivity and debugging features such as mid-stream profiling. **What do you dislike about Informatica Cloud Data Quality?** The biggest downside to IDQ is the relative cost to other tools. As a consultant, I find that many clients just cannot justify the Informatica price tag $$ and often chose an open source solution. They later discover the cost of coding the transformation rules from scratch outrun the cost of INFA license. **What problems is Informatica Cloud Data Quality solving and how is that benefiting you?** I recently used IDQ to cleanse customer data, in conjunction with MDM. The development time using IDQ is significantly reduced while all rules are maintained in the INFA repository. INFA IDQ and MDM products are nicely integrated. ### 2. It is really helpful when you want to blend with current ETL mapping regulations and also provide added value by some quality control statements. Also, it allows you to look at the data in real-time, as the data quality algorithm tests and performs the specific rules after building the job by developing a Navigation window to instantly update and access the data. For reliable and immaculate results, IDQ assisted us by identifying inaccurate accounting information. **What do you dislike about Informatica Cloud Data Quality?** It was difficult for us to export wrong record tables and redundant tables. Also, you probably will need a very powerful hardware to be able to use IDQ properly, as it takes a lot of resources from your computer. **Recommendations to others considering Informatica Cloud Data Quality:** IDQ will work great for client emails, product names, passwords and statuses. You'll be able to import the Data quality mapplets from the server’s developers by using Informatica Power Center. Knowing your customers and accurately managing them justify getting the best product. **Recommendations to others considering Informatica Cloud Data Quality:** Transformations - the types of transformations (SQL Logics) provided are unmatched to any other ETL tool out there. When it comes to using transformations, even a beginner can understand with minimal effort, how to use them or what the expected output will be using that particular transformation. Most of them are self-explanatory, and provide the desired output. Especially Expression Transformation (which is the heart of any mapping). **What problems is Informatica Cloud Data Quality solving and how is that benefiting you?** Each night we process every customer, vendor and product. We generate reports of exceptions and these are distributed to the stewards of the data to allow them to correct issues. ### 6.
