The support tickets sometimes go unresolved for months. There is no need to install the client on the local system. The ability to use Informatica power center or power exchange or big data platform on cloud is quite an appealing aspect. The features of data transformation, source analyzer, target definition, and constraint-based loading could be easily implemented using Informatica cloud. There is no need to maintain the power center icons as a local desktop application after the cloud integration. **What do you dislike about Informatica API and Application Integration?** Informatica cloud application could not be accessed if the cloud link is down. There is need to install the client on the local system in this case and have the server instance on a non cloud layer. The dependency on cloud to be available actively at all the time during end to end implementation in Informatica could be viewed as an overhead. Also, the license cost of Informatica is always on the higher side. **What problems is Informatica API and Application Integration solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ability to use almost all the transformations on the cloud is a great aspect. The mappings, sessions, workflows etc that are developed in the repository are saved in the cloud and could be readily retrieved when needed. Using the tool, i was able to establish a connection with multiple databases hosted on cloud successfully. The ability of the tool to get connected to a database on cloud, perform integration in the intermediate layer (cloud) and the ability to transfer the transformed content to a cloud region (AWS S3 or GCP or MS Sql server) makes the benefit a unique one. I have used Informatica cloud application integration and implemented about 50 data integration projects involving multiple databases, flatfiles and streaming datasets successfully. The end target validation upon completion ensured that Informatica cloud successfully satisfied the integration needs of our product. ### 10.
