The targeting parameters are quite granular. I felt reasonably sure that I was getting in front of IT professionals who fit our demographic qualifications. The customer support team was also very responsive and helpful, always providing timely feedback and recommendations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Informa TechTarget Portal (Priority Engine)? The engagement of the leads we received was next to none. The caveat is that we stuck these leads directly into email nurtures, some sending 1 email a week, some sending 1 email every 3 weeks. Our sales team did nothing with these leads, unless they started a trial of the product or solicited a demo (both of which never happened with these leads). We got very little engagement and saw 0 business results from 20k contacts over a year period. I know Priority Engine is working for others though, and I imagine it's working very well for those who have both there sales + marketing teams working the leads. If we ever sign up again, that is what we'll do. But since we only used it for marketing lead gen, I have to say Priority Engine didn't work well at all, and we tried several strategies to engage these leads. For context, we targeted leads we knew had interest in our field of service, many of which should have had purchasing intent for a solution like ours. So more middle-of-funnel or bottom leads. It was solving our need for new leads with demonstrated interest in our area of service. On this, they delivered. However, those leads never converted. This was either because I didn't properly engage them, Priority Engine leads were bad, or a mix of both. I'm leaning towards it was our fault for not engaging them with marketing and sales and giving PE some grace. I'm sure it's working for others, but it didn't work for our marketing leads use case. The thing I like most about Priority Engine is the fact we can get all the scoops on companies that we are working. Showing information when people get promoted, move roles, company interests, view on companies technologies and thats just the start. I know I am currently in the works of working with Joe to get my account lists uploaded into TT which I think will make it that much better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Informa TechTarget Portal (Priority Engine)? I don't think I have used it enough to "dislike" the Priority Engine. At first it was frustrating because my home page would be full of random accounts that were not mine making the process of cross referencing that much more cumbersome. However, when my account lists get added to my account I feel this will enhance and make the user experience that much better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Informa TechTarget Portal (Priority Engine) solving and how is that benefiting you? Solving the problem of the 'WHY". Why does the company need Alation (my company). Going into TechTarget we can see what topics are top of mind, review website visits and even see when they download a piece of collateral or whitepaper. On top of that, we can see the technologies they are currently using to determine our approach.... If they are using a competitor we take X approach...
