What do you dislike about Infor Birst? • Not an optimal BI option for high degree of Ad-hoc Reporting & Dashboarding • MVP setup is time-taking (Subscription based) • Subscription cost is very high. • Quotation-based pricing model (No WYUWHP) • Development time is comparatively higher (as modeling is involved) • Steep Learning Curve and user adoption is very slow (usually 6month for any new roll-out) • Customer and Community Support (Close-community, not available on simple search) • Limited Talent Pool • Not the first choice for On-Prem choice • Not a very good choice for small customer size • It works great when you move the data inside Birst, but there are limitations for Live environments Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Infor Birst: if you are lookin for Cloud Based Central BI solution where Security is your Focus (Access Con troll & Security) and you need an Scalable & High-performance Analytics single tool for Enterprise reporting (ETL+BI Reporting in one tool), which have good governance facility and you primarility using Standard BI Reporting & Fixed-Pixel reporting, go for it with a technology vision of atleast next 5-10 year ensuring no frequesnt technology decision in your organisation.
