"Great fast time series database and query language, very fast response and support"
5/5
What do you like best about InfluxDB?

Everything works as promised. Documentation is good and structured, support is even better with fast response time (minutes). New functionality grows fast and most new solutions are released before you thought you needed them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InfluxDB?

Almost none. As with many 'new' things, Flux has a steap learning curve, but once you master is, it is very powerful. And SQL queries are on its way, so problem solved for those who don't need the power of Flux. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"InfluxDB"
5/5
What do you like best about InfluxDB?

I strongly recommend InfluxDB for those of you who works with time related problems. I have conceived some applications based on it for the monitoring in industry. The ability to have the data easily available is really a major factor in the adoption. I am able to use it with any language and environment. Using it in the context of machine learning is a real plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InfluxDB?

It suits my problematic. Maybe the learning curve has a bigger slope than other classical DB but that worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"InfluxDB enables fast insight into live data"
5/5
What do you like best about InfluxDB?

The flux query language has some great features and extensibility to enable very powerful queries. Overall performance of the database is pretty good for my use case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InfluxDB?

The flux query language is unique and has a learning curve. I'm used to learning multiple programming languages, but having to learn flux is what slowed the project down the most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Little experience but powerful TSDB"
4/5
What do you like best about InfluxDB?

I landed to TSDB for curiosity, being not the core of my business. In contrast with relational DB it is much more powerful for the throughput and reduced amount of dimensions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InfluxDB?

Not simple for new users to get into it, especially FLUXQL. Actually they are moving to more traditional-like solutions, which is a good thing. Many webinar, but no in person conf, afaik. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Run InfluxDB for time series location data to analyze animal behaviour"
4.5/5
What do you like best about InfluxDB?

InfluxDB allows complete flexibility when you try to mine data to find static and dynamic features in time-based location data. You can combine and filter fields and time ranges with little effort. And the support from the InfluxDB development team helped to do sophisticated analytics much more efficient than we ever imagined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InfluxDB?

It takes some time to get into the mindset of an time-series database when you are used to old-school-SQL. But it pays off very soon - if you struggle in the initial steps take the time to have a look at the influxdata-university and you soon are up and running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best time-based DB for IOT"
4/5
What do you like best about InfluxDB?

I do like how InfluxDB also includes the Telegraf service, which allows quick data import from multiple sources. It is my favourite time-series DB for IOT projects. I also like that it is free to use for personal projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InfluxDB?

I must say that the Flux language is quite challenging to understand at the beginning and has a steep learning curve. I assume that more development to ease up the language ability is still needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Influxdb the easiest way to process time series data"
5/5
What do you like best about InfluxDB?

The best thing is that Influxdb is an open-source tool that allows you to test time series projects for free. This is very useful for experiments and testing as many ideas as possible. Then if necessary, count with a payment method in the cloud that allows you to deploy the solution transparently. Nowing, the structure injecting data is very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InfluxDB?

The community and documentation are helpful, but it would be better if there were more information on the web and standard solutions with the best practices. Related to the ETL process is not as easy as in other languages. The dashboards are not complex as Grafana does. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Problem solving DB"
4/5
What do you like best about InfluxDB?

This DB supports multiple use cases and solves them perfectly. Like support for IOT and accurate like analytics, and how can I forget support for Gaming Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InfluxDB?

A slight learning curve bugs me; apart from that, it's perfect. The issue I faced can be my problem, but I'd like to mention it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Db for High end usage"
5/5
What do you like best about InfluxDB?

The influxdb is best in its performance and how it deals with a complex queries, resulting in a very faster response. The DB in performance is really great. This is one of the best Db. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InfluxDB?

The documentation of DB is quite difficult to understand in the first time reading and implementation. There must be some good tutorial for different use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent DB for storing Time Based Data"
4.5/5
What do you like best about InfluxDB?

It might be the best DB for storing time series data because it can hold large amounts of time series data in nano-seconds. System performance is excellent, and it's easy to deploy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InfluxDB?

It sometimes crashes while querying large data, and the Admin GUI could be more user-friendly. Documentation could be improved and made more user-friendly otherwise there isn't much I dislike about InfluxDB. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
