Inetsoft, not only provides such a solution, it soes so on a small technology footprint and delivers it with comprehensive support and guidance. **What do you dislike about InetSoft Style Intelligence?** Comprehensive report writing requires a separate, sometimes glitchy product called Style Studio. It does have powerful functionality but is not available as a web solution. **What problems is InetSoft Style Intelligence solving and how is that benefiting you?** We offer a dashboard solution to home building companies. Inetsoft allows us to create our product offering in an easily scalable manner for all of our clients. ### 2. She has a great personality, an incredible drive to achieve results, and is very efficient with time management. She helped us transition from version 12.1 to the latest 2021, and every step of the way, she made herself available to us. **What do you dislike about InetSoft Style Intelligence?** Nothing to dislike, Katie made the process of upgrading very straightforward and painless. Version 2021 is a significant upgrade from where we were, and we are glad that we could get rid of flash. **What problems is InetSoft Style Intelligence solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were in a previous version of InetSoft 12.1 that relied heavily on flash; however, Flash is now obsolete, and we needed an upgrade. The 2021 version has a beautiful responsive design that utilizes HTML5 and Angular JS and vastly improves accessibility for us. ### 3. Very easy to drag data elements to a dashboard and create powerful interactive visualizations. Large variety of elements to easily tie into visualizations. Support personel are top notch and extremely proficient in application knowledge and issue resolution. The speed of the application is impressive. With thousand of calculations occuring in the background, the dashboards still load quickly to display the data without any noticiable lag. **What do you dislike about InetSoft Style Intelligence?** Intricate data blocks can be challenging to manage, and changing out high-level blocks a bit cumbersome. **What problems is InetSoft Style Intelligence solving and how is that benefiting you?** Multiple site data aggregation. Each site has various device types with no two locations alike. Numerous formulas are applied based on site criteria lookups. Low-level management accomplished without coding with end-users able to modify a spreadsheet value. Users can view deployment summary and apply what-if calculations on the fly without disturbing the integrity of the data. They can also drill down to single site status, peform what-if calculations and also view historical data. Other dashboards provide validation on system occurances such as generator test runs and power failure tests. ### 4. We're also able to reuse subreports across multiple reports to shorten the development cycle. Performance: little to no report loading time with realized views, which translates to great usability for end users. Data sources/worksheets: InetSoft can connect to a sea of different data sources and offer versatile ways to manipulate data for reporting **What do you dislike about InetSoft Style Intelligence?** It'll take some time to get used to InetSoft especially if you've been a Crystal Reports or Tableau user. But you get fantastic customer support from InetSoft and once you get used to the tool, it's all worth it. **What problems is InetSoft Style Intelligence solving and how is that benefiting you?** We looked for a tool to reduce the report development cycle in an agile environment since we get reporting requests daily. The annual enhancements have been keeping up with new technologies. **What do you dislike about InetSoft Style Intelligence?** There is not much to dislike. I could say that the OEM / White Label could use some improvement. It is pretty decent today but can become more streamlined and partner integration ready. The support for the process is relatively mature and reliable. **Recommendations to others considering InetSoft Style Intelligence:** Plan for as much training as you can up front. Use the mentoring service from InetSoft. It is extremely helpful in kick starting your efforts. **What problems is InetSoft Style Intelligence solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are providing very intuitive information dashboards that substantially simplify decision-making and action planning. The benefits are aggregated data collection, what-if scenario simulations, forecasting, and predictive failure analysis. One particular area of impact is energy management and conservation. The training videos combined with the already easy to use interface made getting up and running on the platform a breeze. Our team has been able to create very sophisticated dashboards and reports much faster than we had expected. This confirmed that we made the right decision in purchasing Style Intelligence over other more flashy solutions. **What do you dislike about InetSoft Style Intelligence?** We haven't discovered anything that we dislike yet. **Recommendations to others considering InetSoft Style Intelligence:** When looking at different business intelligence tools, make sure to evaluate the administration of the tool, the completeness of documentation and online training materials. These really set Style Intelligence apart from the other products. **What problems is InetSoft Style Intelligence solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a solution that provided both reports and dashboards out of the box. We looked at a lot of other products and they were either strong on dashboards or reports but not both. StyleIntelligence not only had both dashboards and reports but they use the same metadata layer. This allowed us to put our industry formulas in one place and have both reports and dashboards show the results. If we change a formula it's replicated across all the dashboards and reports, giving a single version of the truth. ### 9. I have found a lot of very powerful features in the tool that make my job easy. As a consultant I was able to teach myself the tool and become productive very quickly. When I couldn’t determine how to do something I would go to the reference videos they have and watch it and learn how to do something new. The customer support has been great. I can’t say enough good about the product. **What do you dislike about InetSoft Style Intelligence?** I can't think of anything I dislike about the product. The benefits I have realized are displaying the "out of balance" conditions to the business and showing them early in the process. Users can do nearly anything they can imagine with their data. End-users can create complex data mashups quite easily. Power-users can do incredibly complicated mashups and reporting and deliver the results to users with ease. InetSoft makes this process easier than many other BI vendors. InetSoft support is very responsive and helpful. They also implement reasonable requests quickly and consistently. I have not had this experience with other BI vendors. **What do you dislike about InetSoft Style Intelligence?** As with all BI platforms, we've experienced some issues. I dislike that there are ever any problems with software, but that's not at all realistic. And InetSoft helps us resolve any problems we encounter quickly. Their very responsive and helpful support make my unrealistic "dislike" go away quickly. **Recommendations to others considering InetSoft Style Intelligence:** You really need to trial Style Intelligence. Its features-to-usability-to-pricing balance is excellent. If you don't consider it you're missing out on a contender that will undoubtedly make your final list. **What problems is InetSoft Style Intelligence solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Style Intelligence as a front-end to our SaaS application. ### 11. The reason I select this produce is because it is very easy to work with. And it is also very easy to train my users. It also comes with very nice graphic, pictures. **What do you dislike about InetSoft Style Intelligence?** It is hard to find right person to help you. They have some good technical people, but you don't know when you open a ticket which person will be work on your issue. This is the part I don't like, but I guess this is the case for most of the support team in any company. **Recommendations to others considering InetSoft Style Intelligence:** just try it. **What problems is InetSoft Style Intelligence solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use this tool to help our field engineers generate report after their test. we like the UI and pictures this tool generates for us. Presenters and Formula tables are very powerful concepts. **What do you dislike about InetSoft Style Intelligence?** Charts lack built-in variety of point styles/shapes. Difficult to apply consistent formatting to charts. Many customizations are possible, but require significant research and trial and error. **Recommendations to others considering InetSoft Style Intelligence:** We chose Style Intelligence because the extensibility of the product via Java and Javascript was unrivaled. Our use cases are not standard, and we could not find any product that supported our use cases out-of-box. All systems have constraints. While we were looking for a dashboard based business intelligence software what we received is much more. While we use the dashboard to some degree, we use the data exports for much of our internal analysis. But the real power came in the reporting mash up we could do. We use a high percent of our reports in operations to control product movement within our facilities. Another great use is analyzing our customer service.
