I used indeed many times to get jobs but as a recruiter I got to see how powerful it is and how far and wide it spreads to get many applications, I honestly couldn’t believe how many applications we got when we used it. **What do you dislike about Indeed Hiring Platform?** With many applications and a tool that grabs the attention of many comes the cost of having applicants that do not meet the minimum requirements and also are accrues the world. Our ad clearly stated our position is a local only position and yet we had many applications from other sides of the world in different countries, indeed shouldn’t allow those people to apply. It also needs a more robust applicant filtering tool, not having more than a few screening questions really hurts indeeed and caused us to waste a lot of time reviewing resumes that werent qualified. Initially, we would just post the job and ask applicants to email the hiring manager directly, however Indeed is making so really great changes to aid in the hiring and onboarding process. **What do you like best about Indeed Hiring Platform?** What I like best about indeed are the new changes they have made for hiring. They now offer automating voice screening for candidates that apply, which helps save time from doing initial phone interview. You can also send assessments to candidates to prove they have certain skills you are looking for. You can also curate your own emails for hiring, interviewing, rejection, and they will send it to the candidates at the touch of a button. **What do you dislike about Indeed Hiring Platform?** As a non-profit, the only thing we do not like is the cost of sponsoring a job so that it is a highlight on the page. I advertise every job opportunity we have on indeed.
