## ImprovMX Reviews
  ### 1. Easy to use and fairly priced mail forwarding service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rowland A. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2023

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

Very clear, registrar-specific instructions on setting up DNS so ImprovMX can forward your email for that domain. Forwarding is very fast (couple of seconds). Their dashboard for adding email forwards is a nice, AJAX driven web page that is straightforward and easy to use. I switched to ImprovMX after using GoDaddy's free email forwarding for decades since GoDaddy just switched to Microsoft 365 and forwarding stopped working for a couple of days, losing a lot of email. Initially, ImprovMX's mail forwarding worked but I was getting some bounce error messages as well. I contacted support and got prompt and helpful communication and the problem was resolved.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

Nothing really, it was easy to set up and is working well.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had 86 email forwards across 29 domains on GoDaddy. They switched to Microsoft 365 and my forwards all stopped working.

  ### 2. ImprovMx an important tool for businesses owners

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Havyarimana F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2023

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

ImprovMx is easy to use with effective customer support. Its free plan is enough for both small and large businesses.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

No app for activities one place management

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using ImprovMx to receive emails

  ### 3. I wish I had this 10 years ago!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oskari G. | Senior Web Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2022

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

I have always hated setting up email redirections for domains; it's always been a complicated and uncertain process. Not so with ImprovMX! Everything just works. Single click, straight out of the box. Straightforward instructions for first-time domain setup, that work every time. Simple tools to test you've done it correctly. Then you can just set it and forget it, and let it do its thing. It's exactly what I always needed.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

Pricing can be a bit steep if you're not a power user - there should be some sort of medium tier or pay-as-you-go option to make upgrading from the free tier more of a no-brainer for more casual users. Nevertheless, I eventually talked myself into it, and I'm glad I did.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ImprovMX allows me to set up email redirections in 90 seconds flat, with no guesswork or trial and error involved.

  ### 4. Fantastic service that works flawlessly!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jana R. | Chief Operating Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2022

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

I'm a free tier-to-paid customer of ImprovMX. Functions flawlessly. I have 8 Google accounts for different domains, and there's a point at which you reach a saturation point with the number of accounts you have to toggle between (thank goodness for Chrome Profiles!) But with aliases, ImprovMX helps you save time and cost, ESPECIALLY for new projects where you need to spin up a new domain and maybe put your whole staff on it, but you're not sure you want to get an entire new GSuite and pay per user. Complete flexibility and easy setup. Yes, there is a free tier for a single domain, but please remember to support developers and pay for services like this that are important to your business. They're a business, just like you. I do a lot of work in the nonprofit space, so I know about lean, minimal budgets.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

I'm on a paid plan, and I have zero cons to express. Everything works well. Whenever I come across a problem, I've (sadly) found that it's been a user error (I've input the incorrect domain extension or something similar). No issues whatsoever and works seamlessly with GoDaddy.

**Recommendations to others considering ImprovMX:**

If you understand how to handle and change basic DNS settings, you can use this product. For the price, it's an excellent product.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a chronic domain squatter. I register the IP just as soon as I have an idea, which gets expensive. Sometimes those ideas take time to realize fully, but I want to network and build some relationships to get things moving. ImprovMX allows me to manage my costs and forward a variety of emails to Gmail/GSuite or alias domains. If you need to send emails, you can opt for SMTP service for $2.50/month. It's nothing. I used to have mail server costs with my web hosting or domain registrar, and they far exceeded those costs and were PER DOMAIN. That $2.50 is for up to 100 domains. No brainer.

  ### 5. Excellent service - it "just works"

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2022

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

Best value for money I've found, in my use case (half a dozen domains, around thirty total aliases).

The configuration is really simple, the UI is easy to move around, which is important for something I only used occasionally.

Performance seems excellent, and more importantly, reliable. I've never been aware of a significant forwarding delay.

The logs are a useful feature that have already helped a few times.

Note: I'm not using Improvmx's SMTP servers.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

What's not to like? Nothing really - I'm very very happy.

**Recommendations to others considering ImprovMX:**

Give it a go

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to forward email economically for small domains now that Google Workspace is charging.

  ### 6. Only One Word - Excellent!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chandra S. | WordPress Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2022

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

I have tried many Email aliases and Email forwarding websites, but ImprovMX wins the game here. They provide excellent service at affordable pricing plans. I have been using ImprovMX for the past two and a half years. Never disappointed. Fast and reliable.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

Nothing as of now, but storage of error logs should be stored more than 7 days. Need to improve forwarding speed for free customers too. They need to work and optimizing their support ticket resolving issues.

**Recommendations to others considering ImprovMX:**

Switch to improvMX if your organization/company has less than 50 employees.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have switched from GSuite to ImprovMX to save a ton of money. ImprovMX has great features like a higher attachment limit, 99% uptime, and even webhook support as well. I can add as many aliasas as I need.

  ### 7. Super Simple & Efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Commercial Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2022

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

Super easy way to set up email forwarding / manage email forwarding when your webhost doesn't support email forwarding (Wix, etc). Easy for customers to understand, too, if you pass it along to them after configuration.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

Nothing in particular, needed to add an SPF record to make sure the emails made it past spam filters but that's just best practices anyway. We used Google Postmaster Tools but that's not your only option.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Small biz client does not have email hosting, doesn't want email hosting right now; has a very simple website with Wix, which doesn't support email forwarding on its own. Needed a simple solution without adding in a ton of complications or fees. Setup was super easy and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. :)

  ### 8. Unreliable, No Support, Complete disregard for SLA, overall fraudulent service

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priansh S. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2021

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

It works when you set it up for a little while.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

DO NOT use this product. They repackaged someone else's open source and free software into a scam product that receives no maintenance. They're keeping our card hostage and refusing to cancel our monthly subscription so it's already too late for us, but it's not too late for you!

- frequent issues, will randomly stop working
- this may happen early on, and you won't know many of your emails are being dropped as they will never notify you of this happening
- your emails will frequently end up in spam, they have extremely low deliverability and do nothing about this other than falsely market as high deliverability
- one day your emails may stop being delivered altogether, you will not receive any notification as to this happening
- because the only way to login to your admin account is via them sending you an email, you will be locked out of your account if an issue occurs
- if you experience issues with the service you will never have the ability to debug or troubleshoot it yourself: this is on purpose, as if you try to login via their DNS method they refuse to give you full access and ask you to pay again if you want premium access back (basically they will demand you double up on subscriptions to get the service they were supposed to give you for the first one)
- you may foolishly think you have priority support or any level of support (their website fraudulently advertises 24/7 support, they offer nothing of the sort, you would be lucky to get a reply once a year, we never have)
- not only will they never reply to your support request, but your service might start and stop intermittently without notification; they will always refuse to admit fault on their end lest you have evidence if you were to pursue legal action
- the only way to cancel a subscription is via their dashboard, which you will be locked out of
- if you try to contact support regarding this, they will ignore your emails and pretend nothing happened so that you cannot cancel your subscription

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They claim to solve email MX setup. Unfortunately they do not do so, and any benefits we realized with their forwarding tool disappear over time as their service stops working and they refuse to support you or cancel your account.

**Official Response from Matthew Tse:**

> I'm always very open to hear negative reviews as they might reflect issues we have with our tool and currently don’t handle well. We try to do our best to serve our customers with a great service, but it can happen that we fall short on some occasions.

What I don't like is outright lying about it.

We never repackaged someone else’s open source software to privatize it. We’ve built the current ImprovMX structure from scratch using our own code. We’ve iterated on it for years and optimized every single piece of the email forwarding workflow with tons of edge-cases we’ve learned to handle over the years. I don’t know where you came up with that idea, but this is just plain wrong.

Did we have some issues with our infrastructure in the past? Yes, it happened, and we were open about it ; you can see for yourself such occurrences where we shared everything has it happened on Twitter (https://twitter.com/ImprovMx/status/1455605483109224458 for example), but even if these are never a great thing for our users, we keep an open minded approach and always think on the side of the customer when they reach out, you included. Since we’re not in the business of scamming our customers, we offer a “no questions asked refund policy” at any moment of your subscription cycle.

Logging in to your account is, by default, done with your private email - the one you gave when you registered your first domain. That way, even in the case that ImprovMX is having issues, you should always receive your login link since it’s on a domain that’s not managed by us.

When an issue occurs, we generally notify our users via Twitter about the situation as soon as we are aware about it. I don’t understand what you mean by “never have the ability to debug or troubleshoot it yourself” : Of course you don’t have access to our servers and our logs, but you can easily see if there is an issue by sending an email to yourself and see that it is not delivered in time.

We previously had a status page that was never up-to-date. The underlying service we were using wasn’t great and the page even failed to work properly from time to time. Yes, it sucked. We recently moved to BetterUptime and started to add monitors to actively check our service’s health, and we will be more active there if any issues occur that we are aware of - You can see the new status page at https://status.improvmx.com.

Our average reply time on customer support is <5 hours, and literally minutes when an outage is occurring as our team is all hands on deck, actively answering messages on the support and transparently sharing what’s happening on Twitter.

Canceling your subscription can be done by yourself easily on your dashboard, but if you can not connect to it for any reasons, our support team also cancels subscriptions upon request manually. We never force anyone to stay on and don’t ask any questions about it. There is no contract lock-in or any of these shenanigans either.

Following your requests, we refunded your last payment and even gave you three months back as an apology, so claiming that we took your credit card “hostage” is all but the truth.

We understand that we can't please everyone and bad situations occur from time to time, so we accept reviews that reflect these. But this time, this is just not an honest review, just a rant.

  ### 9. Highly recommended

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

ImprovMX is the fastest and best mail forwarding plugin and service I have found. It is simple efficient and super easy to use.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

I wish they would bring back the lite plan as that was the optimal price point for the service.

**Recommendations to others considering ImprovMX:**

Remember that support is chat and email-based, and if you have more pressing concerns, you should reach out via twitter

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This plugin lets me have a professional email of hello@example.tld and forward it to my everyday email. The forwarding is fast, reliable, and almost never goes to spam.

  ### 12. my impression of ImprovMX

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fortunato C. | CTO & Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2021

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

the speed of the email forwarding . I am using a dot.tk domain as an alias and I usually wait up to 5mins to get the email forwarded. but with ImprovMX I get it faster

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

no way to identify the owners of the company or software of ImprovMX . this means it is difficult to trust something you cannot identify. Who is behind ImprovMX? can we trust this people or Identity. I am using a similar product like smtp2go and they are very easy to identify and trust. I you want people to trust your product or service you got to let them know who you are and more people will come to your service for more business

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

dot.tk is a very well established Top Level Domain but is very slow and has bad reputation. but since I am already in it I cant easily change my domain to a better one. I need faster email forwarding service. but not just fast also reliable and from a company that people can trust within europe.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

Nothing to dislike about ImprovMX so far.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 15. Works great with almost every setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam K. | Consultant - IoT Modules (Cellular / GNSS / Short-Range), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2021

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

Outstanding product and service. Best of all it's free, so you can test it out to your hearts content. I have been testing it from 2016 to 2021. I used it with my Namecheap domain, as I moved my site from one host to another. First from dreamhost to Wix, then Wix to Google Cloud.

Good interfface and it's very easy to setup and use. It has never stopped working for me in all these years. Great value as a free product as it's independent of your hosting provider & domain provider. You have complete control over your emails.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

I don't have anything specific to complain about. I have never had any issues yet. I have used the free tier only so far, but if I ever needed to upgrade I would surely go with mx. That's the least I can do for the years of excellent free email-forwarding they have provided to me.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to use my personal or business email. I can setup any number of aliases and point them to any email addresses I want to collect those emails. If any specific alias starts collecting too much spam, I can just get rid of it.

  ### 16. It works, and it's just what I needed.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2022

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

Convenient email forwarding. Easy to set up, clean interface, helpful support. Also, it's free for my simple case.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

Nothing I know of at this early point of usage

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralizing one email address for a neighborhood association group, which forwards to each member of the group. Email forwarding with Dreamhost was bouncing with gmail destination addresses.

  ### 17. Best forwarding software! Nothing beats free!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack K. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2021

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

Fully functional.
Fast.
Simple.
Reliable.
Free.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

Nothing.
Everything is perfect.
No complaints.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A free and cheap solution for company and private emails vs. having to use expensive subscriptions.

  ### 18. Free but actually good

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charles L. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2021

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

Free but very responsive customer service. Takes reliability seriously.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

The plan that includes SMTP server is too expensive for personal use.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solved problems with forwarding emails.

  ### 19. Exactly what I needed for the fastest email setup for my domain

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel G. | Web Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2021

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

The setup takes minutes as ImprovMX walks you through it, and the interface is very well designed (with a nice modern asthetic) so you're sure that the setup has been finalized. The new regex feature makes it very easy to setup a more complex 'routing' to Gmail.

They're very transparent about the free offering versus premium, so the value proposition is clear. And the fact that I have unlimited usage for additional new domains that I'd like the email routed to my Gmail account is very, very generous.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

If the know-how for using the regex feature was unified with the dashboard interface, instead of having to read documentation on the same page and then come back to the dashboard.

Also, and this is nit-picking, but there's a lot of negative visual space on the dashboard interface, so I would suggest perhaps making better use of the screen real-estate. Though that's subjective, and perhaps the minimalist vibe was the goal, in which case they hit the nail on the head.

**Recommendations to others considering ImprovMX:**

I would sign up for the free account and give it a try—you lose nothing and I'm guessing you'll be delighted at the products power.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can have a set of forward-facing email addresses on a business web domains all routed to my Gmail account, with clever 'routing' so I can make use of filtering in Gmail and setup more effective notifications. All of this for free, and now that I'm setup, I'm considering the upgrade to premium because of the faster email processing, even though the free tier's processing times are more than sufficient for my current needs.

  ### 20. Greate Service

Nothing to complain about so far. Working as intended.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using the service to forward emails using my custom domain.

  ### 23. Great for Email Aliases!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

Email forwarding is lighting fast. It is an extremely efficient tool to use if you have multiple email aliases and lots of emailing to do throughout the day!

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

I haven't had to complain about anything so far. This was pre-installed for me, and I use the free version so it is simple and easy to use!

**Recommendations to others considering ImprovMX:**

If you are feeling overwhelmed with your email load give this a shot! It has helped declutter my inbox and made me more efficient.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Owning a lot of domains means lots of email addresses. Working in different departments also means multiple email addresses. ImprovXM has allowed to to stay on top of my email load and email responsibilities.

  ### 24. Love it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrés C. | Remote Programmer Analyst Senior at PMO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2021

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

It's easy to use and set up. Also, it allows you to use multiple email addresses to receive emails.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

That it is not cheaper if you only need it for 10 or fewer domains. Also, you have to pay to use their SMTP server.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

That I don't need to create multiple email accounts for my different websites. I just forward the emails to my personal account.

  ### 25. Great email forwarding service. Simple to setup and pricing is difficult to beat.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saurabh J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2020

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

The UI is easy and it is simple to setup.
The emails are forwarded nearly instantly and all the guesswork with email forwarding setup has been removed.

Before this, I have had to either subscribe to expensive GSuite like services and manage multiple email boxes. But this email forwarding service works like a breeze and I get reliable delivery. Their free service itself is very generous but their recently launched Light plan is perfect for small Indie Hackers like myself.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

Nothing much. They have recently launched a pricing tier for small businesses (during Black Friday) which I have subscribed to.
Before that, I was on the free plan as the paid plans had too much stuff that I didn't need.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I start a lot of side projects and own a lot of domains. I use ImprovMX to quickly setup email forwarding from these new domains to my basic email.
It works substantially better than the email forwarding services which come free with lots of these domain registrars and works effortlessly.

  ### 26. Great free email forwarding service for my custom domain

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh v. | Entrepreneur, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2021

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

I have used ImprovMX to setup a free email forwarding with my custom domain. It was easy. The team was ready to help if I have any issues. Overall this is a great service that I would recommend.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

I am only using the free service so can't complain :)

**Recommendations to others considering ImprovMX:**

Simple easy free email forwarding for your custom domains.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can now get emails sent to my custom domain and forwarded to my free email account.

  ### 27. A mail forwarding service that "just works"

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M. | Chief, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2021

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

Designed for ease. The setup is simple as it takes you through the steps of verifying domain ownership and makes it dead simple to forward somewhere else, not even a password is needed. Wildcard (catch-all) forwarding of an entire domain works fine too.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

I've not encountered any issues with the service.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed this after moving to a new domain registrar (Uniregistry) which doesn't offer an email forwarding service. I've also used other domain registrars whose email forwarding wasn't stellar and I suspect ImprovMX would probably be more reliable and faster for those situations.

  ### 28. Great service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

The usefulness of the application and the support/team

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

Some user experience throughout the application, but these are minor

**Recommendations to others considering ImprovMX:**

Please try this application/website out. It helps you forward mails from multiple domains or allows mailing from a domain.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forwarding emails through multiple domains or simply sending or receiving emails.

  ### 29. Great Product and very satisfied with ImprovMX

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nehemia G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2020

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

It is very easy to set up, very intuitive and I don't have any problem setting it up the first time I use the service.
ImprovMX saved me some money because I don't have to buy email services but I still can have a professional email address.
I like The UI a lot, and it is very clean and elegant.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

sometimes it takes a while for the server to detect the DNS configuration (MX and TXT) when the other sites like MXToolbox already detect it.
Maybe it is something that can be improved to make it faster for improvMX to check if the DNS configuration.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to buy email servers when I'm just testing ideas (startup ideas), with improvMX I can have a professional email address at no cost.
And because it is very easy to set up it saved me a lot of unnecessary time to do the email setup and configuration

  ### 30. The email forwarding solution you've been looking for

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreas J. V. | Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2020

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

No-clutter UI & it does exactly what I wish from an email-forwarding service.
The setup was extremely well documented and took me literally a minute.

Adding new aliases is a breeze and you can also send out email from custom domains on Gmail!

I also love the passwordless login, because:
a) there's less to leak in case of a hiccup (& 1 less password to manage/worry about!)
b) it's very niche to log into an email service via email 😎

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

There have been times when my emails from the custom domain have ended up in someone's junk. I'm not sure whether this is a DMARC/DKIM header issue or some IP blacklist, but it only happens on some rare cases.

**Recommendations to others considering ImprovMX:**

Test out the free plan and see for yourself!

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have multiple domains & aliases forwarded to a single Gmail inbox. ImprovMX also lets me send out email from custom domains 💯, making it super easy to switch between my sender address. If I need to set up a new alias, it takes me 4 seconds. If i need to set up a new domain, it takes me 40 seconds (whereas it used to take me hours). Truly couldn't imagine my email-life without ImprovMX at this point

  ### 31. Great email forwarding service with optional Gmail integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Filip N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2020

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

I use ImprovMX for emails connected to my personal website, through MX records of my free domain.

Considering that top-level domain was free, many MX services have blacklisted all domains under that top-level domain. ImprovMX, however, does not block them.

Moreover, ImprovMX allows me an unlimited amount of first-level users and forwards each first-level user to respective email addresses connected to them. For example, if you want to make a family business website, familyname.com, each family member can have their own @familyname.com email address. With Gmail integration, one may may also send and receive emails from these domains! Magnificent solution all around.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

The free email forwards are sometimes slow, taking upwards of 10-15 minutes. However, considering that this is a free service that otherwise provides the same basic functionaly as the paid service, I am very happy with both options.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unlimited forwarders with a joint inbox. Perfect for managers of small businesses.

Having a domain-specific email address greatly increases the professional appearance of my business.

  ### 32. Awesome, no BS solution for email forwarding.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madison O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2020

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

Easy to use interface with a robust feature set. Support is responsive, SMTP is fast and effective, email forwarding for multiple domains on all membership tiers (free too!), white labeling... everything you need without the fluff or annoying marketing.

You're commonly in contact with the owners themselves and they actively listen and value your feedback.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

Not much at all. There can be occasional UI bugs because the product is under active development, but these bugs are few and far between, and never impact the service as a whole.

**Recommendations to others considering ImprovMX:**

Don't hesitate to give ImprovMX a shot. The free membership has just about everything one would need for mail forwarding/sending from their domain(s).

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ImprovMX for all of my professional/company email forwarding and sending. ImprovMX is extremely easy to use with a very intuitive interface. ImprovMX is a much cheaper option that others like Gsuite or Mailgun.

  ### 33. ImprovMX is an amazing email forwarding service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Conroy W. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2020

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

For those of us with a million domains like I have, ImprovMX is perfect for sending all emails to the same centralized account. The free version has so many features and is easy to set up -- just point your DNS MX records and you're good to go in seconds. The paid version is worth it, though, if not just for being able to "send as", or to support the creators.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

I don't really have any complaints. I like the service just as it is.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have a lot of domains and used to create a different gmail account for each one, and forward from that. But that was always so much work! Being able to send emails to a single centralized business email account is so helpful!

  ### 34. GREAT

  ### 35. Fast and reliable email forwarding.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2021

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

It is super easy to use after the first configuration, which, by the way, is also easy thanks to the docs they provide.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

Only seven days of logs may be too few if there is an error and you don't check very often.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ImprovMX is giving me reliable email forwarding with minimal configuration needed.

  ### 36. An excellent mail forwarding service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Petri K. | Retired as Information Technology Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2021

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

This is an excellent email forwarding service. You can use it both for receiving email and as an SMTP mail sending service. I first started with the free service, but now am a happy customer with the premium $9 per month service which enables the SMTP, faster delivery, and faster support. It's definitely worth the price. Security looks good too.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

This doesn't bother me, but the user interface could be improved to better match the web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG).

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Email forwarding.

  ### 37. Friendly ImprovMX Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2020

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

Adding the MX files to my DNS provider was easy and I've used ImprovMX for other projects. Recently, though, while working on a civic engagement project through my university, we bumped into the max redirect limit. I emailed the support team about this, and they were kindly enough to accommodate the extra students we had onboarded.

This is just one example of the company culture at ImprovMX. I highly encourage you to review their employee benefits and stance on being carbon neutral. This team not only delivers a great product but also strives to act as global citizens. These are people worth being involved with.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

I haven't had any troubling experiences with the service.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As University of Vermont students, we are given two emails: one with our full name spelled out & one abbreviated one which tends toward looking garbled.

ImprovMX affords makes sharing our email addresses easy (on account of their shortness & first name basis). Not only that, but it generally helps brand our group to give out these obviously tailored addresses.

  ### 38. No-hassle, simple and effective service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter H. | Technical Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

Took me all of five minutes to get it up and running, and it just works. Secure (2FA).

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

Nothing comes to mind, so I'll just keep typing until I get past G2's minimum character count.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed an email forwarding solution for a client with a very small domain, with a few public email addresses (e.g. for DNS registration) and a few actual humans. After a few unsuccessful forays into rolling my own with AWS, I came across ImprovMX, whose free plan fit my needs perfectly.

  ### 39. Great and reliable service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Helder S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2021

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

Support is really good and the interface looks good and is super simple to use.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

Nothing I can think of. I guess the fact that SMTP isn't free? :P

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like having portability, so by using ImprovMX I'm able to change email providers without having to tell everyone to update my address.

  ### 40. Super simple, does what it does perfectly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** A B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2020

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

It takes about 2 minutes to have MX records working and email flowing through. Setup is clear and there's great support if you need it

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

No downsides. The fact that I'm made to continue to type in this field in order to validate the review, tells me that few companies truly have no downsides. But there is no downside.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bring in simple MX to small domain names without the overhead associated with it (or the extra costs).

  ### 41. Super easy to set up, convenient UI, super fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirill J. | non, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2021

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

And it's free (for the basic version that I'm using). Would happily pay if I needed it for anything mission critical.

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

Can't ask for more for free.

But perhaps Webmail could be useful as an add-on/alternative to forwarding.

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing disposable email addresses.

  ### 42. Allows multiple deliveries per alias and was completely free,

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

Tiny website glitch. the confirmation that my domain was setup upon refresh said i wasn't setup.. refresh again said i was

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ImproveMX was reliable where forwardemail.net was not not able to handle that I had other TXT records unrelated to them

  ### 43. Amazing product, just the thing you need today

**Reviewed by:** Anubhav S. | Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2020

**What do you like best about ImprovMX?**

The easy configuration, sleek UI and decent pricing

**What do you dislike about ImprovMX?**

The emails sometimes are slow to deliver, but they're sure to reach

**What problems is ImprovMX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have multiple websites under me, so its totally nonsense for me to have multiple different mailboxes configured for each domain. Just one account at ImprovMX allows me to use my GMail for communicating through all those domain emails and setup perfect forwarding to my team.

  ### 44. It's a great email forwarding service, totally satisfied
