"Fast Data Extraction, Impressive Power Query"
5/5
What do you like best about ImportYeti?

I use ImportYeti to understand the type and volume of machinery entering the USA. It provides me with the number and quality of shipments from Europe into the USA. I really like the Power Query tool in ImportYeti; it's outstanding, and I congratulate the team for it. The Power Query has powerful logic and is fairly easy to use. ImportYeti allows for faster data extraction with more precise data descriptions and no limitations on data "age" since queries can go back to 2019. Setting up ImportYeti was very easy, including my personal exchange of emails with "the Yeti." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ImportYeti?

The so-called 'raw data' is particularly problematic in the field of 'product description', as they are not always present or meaningful. I think it would be better to check that field at the time ImportYeti's algorithm is importing data. If the field is 'empty', there is a problem that should be solved at that very time. "Great visibility into real supplier activity"
5/5
What do you like best about ImportYeti?

What I like best about ImportYeti is the visibility into real import activity. Instead of relying on marketing claims or generic supplier directories, it shows actual shipment records, which makes supplier research far more trustworthy. Being able to see who is actively importing similar products, how often they ship, and in what volumes helps us quickly identify credible manufacturers, reduce sourcing risk, and focus our outreach on suppliers that are proven and active. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ImportYeti?

One challenge is that when searching by HS code or product type, identifying the right supplier can take extra time. The data often requires opening multiple company profiles or external websites to determine which suppliers are the best fit for a specific product, which adds friction to the research process. "Simple Insight"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ImportYeti?

It’s especially useful for business development, you can actually see real shipment data and spot opportunities quickly. That kind of visibility is hard to find.

I also like that it’s not overcomplicated. It does one thing well and gives you actionable insights without making you dig through layers of noise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ImportYeti?

If I had to pick something, it would be that the data can sometimes feel a little raw but generally this website was very helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent tool for understanding supply chains and competitor sourcing"
5/5
What do you like best about ImportYeti?

ImportYeti is incredibly easy to use and very fast and responsive. The interface is visually clear, which makes it simple to understand complex supply chain relationships quickly. We use it to find suppliers, research competitors, and better understand how products move through the industry. One of the most valuable features is being able to see who our competitors are working with and who our suppliers are shipping to. It gives real insight into the market. I also really appreciate that the founders are responsive and engaged with users, which is rare for a tool like this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ImportYeti?

Honestly, there isn’t much downside. Compared to other tools in this space that can feel slow or clunky, ImportYeti is straightforward and efficient. It does exactly what we need and is much easier to work with than many alternatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ImportYeti Gives Us Real Visibility Into Customer Import Activity"
5/5
What do you like best about ImportYeti?

The transparency and simplicity. ImportYeti makes it easy to see actual import volumes, supplier relationships, and shipment patterns without digging through multiple data sources. It allows our team to quickly understand who a company is buying from, how frequently they are importing, and through which ports. That visibility makes our sales conversations far more informed and strategic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ImportYeti?

Like any public import data tool, it is based on bill of lading information, so it does not always tell the full operational story. You still need industry knowledge to interpret the data correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The GOAT of importing and customs data"
5/5
What do you like best about ImportYeti?

The search is incredibly fast and the data is actually organized. Most sites that pull from customs records are a mess, but here I can just type in a brand and see their entire supplier list immediately. I can see how many containers they brought in, BOL numbers, container numbers, addresses, phone numbers, and websites. The columns are super customizable and you get unlimited exports. I have tried virtually every import data software out there and nothing beats the price, the UI/UX, and the data accuracy on ImportYeti. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ImportYeti?

I can't think of anything I dislike about it . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Indispensable for Supplier Verification, But Limited Beyond Tier-1 Visibility"
3.5/5
What do you like best about ImportYeti?

Essential Tool for BBC International Social Compliance

Import Yeti is an indispensable asset for maintaining global supply chain integrity. As a Social Compliance Specialist at BBC International, I use it to:

Verify Supplier Authenticity: Cross-reference declared production sites with actual shipment records to ensure transparency.

Identify Hidden Risks: Unveil buyer lists and shipping volumes to detect potential unapproved subcontracting or "middleman" entities.

Enhance Investigations: Use granular import data to conduct thorough internal screens and validate vendor compliance during high-level audits.

It provides the objective, public-record evidence necessary to back up ethical sourcing claims and protect brand reputation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ImportYeti?

I would have wanted ImportYeti to support us in more of our daily operations. As time went on, I discovered it was limited to determine any material suppliers to main tier-1 suppliers. I understand the platform wasn't intended for that. Overall it's been a useful tool in my toolbox per say. The ability to bookmark suppliers is useful, I would have wanted a way to bookmark key suppliers in localized supply chains for other purposes or presented data to my executives.
