**What do you like best about ImportYeti?**

Provides a tremendous amount of detail on competitor trade data and presents it in a visually friendly format that facilitates insights and stimulates ideas for thoughtful analysis.

**What do you dislike about ImportYeti?**

Nothing that I dislike.  However, it would be great to see this built out for import data related to land crossings as well.

**What problems is ImportYeti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping me discern the official trade patterns of my suppliers (so i can validate source) and competitors (to better understand their supply chains).  With regards to the latter, I was able to use Import Yeti's data to help direct my investigation into my competitor.  This investigation inevitably led to the a raid by DHS on my competitor's U.S. subsidiary.

What I like best about ImportYeti is their incredible attitude. They are so supportive and helpful. Their user interface was so intuitive that I felt like I understood the tool almost instantly.

**What do you dislike about ImportYeti?**

I have an unusual business need, so the perfect pricing plan would have been by the minute, but I understand that is probably just a bad idea for this kind of business. Still, they listened to me and offered solutions to an odd situation.

**What problems is ImportYeti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ImportYeti brought me an easy to use solution for someone who was not already a pro in this space. I didn't understand how the volumes of import and export data were radically different.

Pricing is a bit on the higher end for our needs, but it is understandable given the level of detail the premium account would provide. Just doesn't fit our need at the moment.

I like how easy it is to access information and quickly evaluate whether the suppliers I’ve found are worth considering.

**What do you dislike about ImportYeti?**

The full package is great, but we’re not sure we’ll use all the features we’re paying for. Sometimes our team is too small to justify having 4 users at the full price. It would be helpful if we could share the full package within a small team.

I've never had any problems with them.

Nothing really. Maybe better coverage for other countries imports besides USA and China.

**What do you like best about ImportYeti?**

I don't use it often, but when I do, it's very easy and visually appealing, especially drilling into the details. That's the beauty, it's intuitive and self-explanatory. There's no other "import' tool I've used that easier or more informative without having to use spreadsheets to get data quickly.

**What do you dislike about ImportYeti?**

I can't think of anything that I dislike and wish I had more time to drill into more details. It's the one program I like going into because data is quick and visually dynamic. If anything, I need to remember to look closely at the shipping dates as the last ship date may be a later date than what's shown. If anything, adding a mo/yr on the last shipment would be helpful compared to having to hover my cursor over the last shipment.

Knowing who my competitors are, seeing what brands suppliers are shipping to and finding new supplier.

The amount of easily-accessible data is just fantastic.  Easy searching and robust data for cross referencing shippers and receivers of imported products

Not anything I can think of - I think for most users there will be more options and data than needed.

It allows me to quantify importers of the products I am involved with - it gives an almost endless stream of suppliers and potential customers.

How to chase after companies. I know where they're based out of and how often they are importing containers, which I can use to my advantage when talking with prospects.

By Using Import Yeti we have been able to trace suppliers of products we need to buy, it saves us time by rather than searching through supplliers like Alibaba, we are able to see were our competitiors source there products, we are now able to identify good specialist suppliers very quickly

Import Yeti has all the primary data needed to locate potential suppliers. It is also a great resource for competitive analysis. We often use it to veruify how potential competitors are sourcing similar products. Easy to use and very intuitive

I don't really dislike anything. I wish I could search by supplier to see which companies a supplier shipped to rather than find the supplier by locating a US importer of record that is a customer.

Just an all around great tool to use if you are importing/exporting. We used to pay hundreds of dollars per month to have this data and we were only allowed a few searches per month. ImportYeti is a game changer!

As a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager, I find importYeti extremely beneficial to me and our organization to find the right suppliers and keep our supply chain healthy at all times.

I give it a 10/10 and will recommend it.

The only thing that I can see that might be helpful is the price point for paid services, We would like it to be a little bit less expensive for organizations and multiple users.

Dave always tries to improve the user experience which is key to customer success and such a competitive edge these days.

Format of information can be improved... proper separations between words to not misunderstand actual spelling of location.

Been using this importyeti for 3+ years and it’s been a great addition for my business development. Can easily research clients and new business avenues. They keep the data up to date and are continuously adding new features to make the research process easier and simpler.

The cofounders are lovely people as well, and always implementing new ideas/feedback from users.

Limitations of import country but I believe that is a data availability restriction and not an ImportYeti flaw.

ImportYeti is user friendly for accessing import data to discover whether infringing products are being imported into the United States. It is also easy to use because it is web-based--there is no implementation of software needed. Additionally, the customer support is exceptional--the team is very responsive and helpful.

It is easy to get sucked into an expensive, lengthy subscription; however, it is easy to cancel if necessary.

Simple to use if you are new to that topic. Basic information for free, premium unlocks plenty of new features. Customer support was really one on one and always easy to reach.

Well, I didn't see a disadvantage, yet I had no chance to compare the database to others.

Import Yeti is super user friendly and easy to use with all the tools provided to make you successful in your research! I would highly recommend to anyone in the field of making connections as the little Yeti will be your best friend!

Having someone who knows how to use the application is most important to me. You never hear what that they will get back to you by a salesperson. They offer immediate assistance with your questions. 

And compared to other programs out there for Customs manifest information, for me, this one is the best value and ease of use.

There are no downsides that I have found while using the application.

In business development, you always need to add new prospects to your pipeline. Being able to see what my prospects are importing helps you narrow down the range to your niche market.

The cost and ease of use are great.  There are innovative trade visualizations and multiple ways to search import records.

**What do you dislike about ImportYeti?**

It is not a silver bullet for any inquiry.  CBP records are not available for all imports, and BOL data quality varies wildly.

**What problems is ImportYeti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to track our import volume in a different way from our internal records.  We can also monitor our vendors and see who they are working with, as well as see who industry leaders are working with.

All the cool little features that let you go down so many different rabbit holes for so many different types of data. Really cool. So much information on this website that I didn't even know existed. Great great tool for researching and learning about anything import/export. Combine it with ChatGPT and ask chatgpt to help you use the website and you'll find some really amazing stuff.

Not much honestly. Only thing is I wish more features were available for free!! Lol but I get it. They gotta make money somehow or else they wouldn't exist so I'll be more than happy when I probably upgrade my membership soon..

I've tried many services that report import data. Nothing compares to ImportYeti. Unlike other services, Import lays out the data clearly and simply. The data is incredibly robust and the information we need to make informed business decisions. In summary, Import is a tool my company can't live without.

The tool does what it is supposed to do. It's not so integrated in to my workflow so I don't use it very often.

You can check a company's suppliers and customers to understand their shipment volume, which is very helpful for customer research. More importantly, they categorize and organize the data, using charts to directly display the data for each product category. ImportYeti is very helpful for finding suppliers or customers. I use it every day now, which is very helpful for my career.Finally, their customer service is very effective.

**What do you dislike about ImportYeti?**

I don't know how others are doing, but I often encounter connection security checks, sometimes stopping for five or six minutes will result in them.

The function of searching data according to HS Code is the most helpful and time-saving for me

As a newer business, having the ability to find quality manufacturers without paying hundreds per month is amazing. Import Yeti has been my go to, and I highly recommend. They are by far one of my favorite tools for import research. I am on their site weekly.

I don't really have much I dislike about Import Yeti. Sometimes the search doesn't always pull up all the closest names and put them at the top for you, but overall it does a great job!
