"Great All-in-One Dashboard, But Slow Approvals"
3.5/5
What do you like best about impact.com?

I use impact.com for the Domestika referral program. The all-in-one dashboard is one of the things I like most, it's one of the ease of this platform. I also like the ad tracking. Since I run social media ads, ad tracking for someone else's sale through referrals is a key issue for me, so that feature really helps. The initial setup was very easy too. What do you dislike about impact.com?

{"I find it slow in terms of approvals, and I'm unsure if the approval would be done or not.","Approval time for Domestika was more than a month.","Shopify — I have never heard back from them.","This uncertainty in approvals affected the planning alot.","I postponed the ad camp.","It affected my cash flow and budget.","I run a business other than referrals so I need to allocate the budget accordingly. If I am not getting it thru so I need to figure things out differently."} Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Broad Affiliate Network with Customization, Needs Streamlined Setup"
4/5
What do you like best about impact.com?

I like the partner recruit system on impact.com because it provides a good background on potential partners, which helps in deciding whether to send out a recruit message. I also appreciate the flexibility to tailor individual contracts and include specific information for each affiliate, a feature that other networks don't offer as effectively. The initial setup of impact.com is incredibly easy, making it straightforward to access the dashboard quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about impact.com?

For someone new in impact.com, the system's a little bit complicated. Even with my experience in the affiliate marketing field, there are still moments where I scratch my head. Setting up the program and recruiting an affiliate is a bit more elongated than it needs to be. The process could be shortened. The tabs down the left-hand side in Impact sometimes don't do everything you need, and you have to go into a separate settings tab. It would be nice if all the tabs needed to set up an affiliate program were down the left-hand side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Affiliate Management with Room for Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about impact.com?

I use impact.com to manage my affiliate marketing partnerships and track campaign performances. The platform is easy to navigate, making it simple to manage multiple brand partnerships in one place. The centralized dashboard is well-organized, allowing me to track clicks, conversions, commissions, and payments without needing to switch platforms. This setup saves me time and provides a clearer view of my campaign performance. I appreciate how impact.com brings everything I need for managing affiliate partnerships into one platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about impact.com?

One area where impact.com could improve is the learning curve for new users. Because the platform offers many features, it can feel overwhelming at first, especially when navigating reports. The interface could be more intuitive, making it easier to find specific tools without having to explore multiple menus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5/5

I find impact.com to be very user-friendly, making it easy to access reporting and extrapolate data. The platform is also very reliable, which is crucial for managing our affiliate program. I appreciate that our contact at impact is very helpful and timely. Additionally, it allows us to optimize the brand's budget towards partners that perform better. The initial setup was very easy, ensuring a smooth start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about impact.com?

There are times where we have technical issues, and unfortunately, we haven't had the best response from opening tickets with the tech team at Impact. We find that it can be slow to get a response or unhelpful, and it ends up resolving itself before we can actually have someone communicate with us at impact.com. "Helpful Overview of Advertising Partners and Affiliate Program Parameters"
4.5/5
What do you like best about impact.com?

It’s very helpful to get a sense of the brands that are already working with online advertisers, as well as their needs and payout structure and fee schedule. The website itself is relatively easy to navigate, and I appreciate that there is a messaging option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about impact.com?

As an advertiser, I wish it was clearer how we can apply for fee-based programs rather than a pure affiliate model. I don’t show ads on my website on an affiliate-only basis, as I also have a personal brand as a creator on social media. There is an option to connect our other accounts—such as social media profiles like Instagram and TikTok, but I haven’t noticed that doing so results in offers that reflect the entire scope of my audience across platforms—the only offers I receive focus on one channel or the other, typically my website only. Sometimes it can feel like it is difficult to highlight qualitative differentiators to potential partners, things like the composition of audience rather than just flat stats like gender and geographical location. I find that messages I send to brands are not returned. I have not tried using the support function yet, and have not bee onboard for a project yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Impact.com: Easy Reporting, Reliable Performance, and Responsive Support"
5/5
What do you like best about impact.com?

The interface is easy to navigate and it's easy for me to see reporting. I noticed in the last few months, changes were made to make the linking process easier, something I appreciate. I like to integrate links into my website, and one of the easiest platforms I use is Impact.com.

I am partnered with several affiliate programs as a publisher, and one asset that makes Impact stand out is its performance. I very infrequently have experienced downtime, if any, and any issues I had in the past (though I can't really even remember more than one) was fixed quickly.

The support of Impact.com is better than most - I've sent emails and have had them responded to in a timely manner. I am not sure about pricing because I do not use it as an advertiser, but as a publisher the time is definitely worth the ROI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about impact.com?

One major disadvantage is there is a lack of HTML coding that can be implemented into my HTML footer to automatically turn normal links into affiliate links in the program. I spend a lot of time manually creating links, which is a big difference from other platforms where the links auto create for me when the user clicks on the link. I think Impact should implement ir, if possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"impact.com Marketplace Makes Finding Brand Partnerships Fast and Easy"
4/5
What do you like best about impact.com?

The best part of impact.com is the marketplace, which connects publishers directly with a wide range of advertisers/brands. It makes finding legitimate partnership opportunities much easier compared to searching for brands individually. This has saved me significant time in outreach and let me focus more on actually promoting the brands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about impact.com?

Recently, impact.com has been declining publishers' access to the marketplace, which limits opportunities to connect with new advertisers. Also, digital marketing is evolving fast — publishers are discovering new legitimate promotion channels, such as brand mentions on AI platforms like Claude and ChatGPT, or brand awareness through Medium articles. However, impact.com currently has no clear way to verify or track these newer promotion methods, making it hard to prove this kind of work to advertisers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Setup, Insightful Dashboard, and Seamless Website & LinkedIn Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about impact.com?

It's easy to set up, I like that the main page shows a dashboard with a snapshot of clicks, actions, earnings, etc. It's good to have information that is easy to find. Integration with my website and LinkedIn was seamless. And I'm satisfied with the current performance. I am the only user currently, but onboarding was easy, and I could understand the platform the same day I started. The AI chatbot seems to be able to be improved. I have experience with AI chatbots, and I suggest using a classifier workflow first before reading all the data and then pulling the information from the docs. I'm still not in the phase of calculating ROI, but from reviews and research, it seems great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about impact.com?

What I dislike most about Impact.com is the payment process. It can be confusing to understand when a commission is actually approved, locked, available, or ready to be paid. Even after a sale is confirmed, the payment can still depend on the advertiser funding their account, which makes the process feel uncertain.

I also do not like how much the experience depends on each individual advertiser. Every brand has its own rules, approval process, commission structure, tracking conditions, and payment timeline. Because of that, one program can work well while another can be frustrating, even though both are using the same platform.

Another concern is the amount of access Impact.com asks for when connecting social media accounts. I understand that some access may be necessary for verification, but it still feels like too much when all I want to do is promote products and use affiliate links. "Clear Earnings & Performance Insights, Easy to Get Started"
4/5
What do you like best about impact.com?

Clear, easy to understand earnings and performance. I have not explored integrations very deeply. Nor pricing/ROI. UI/UXS is not hard, but there have been some difficulties. Support and onboarding have been fine but there are still some things I am confused about. I have not explored the AI / Intelligence capabilities at all. I did not know there were any integrations available and I am not sure what is meant about pricing/ROI Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about impact.com?

As someone getting started with affiliate marketing, some of the core concepts are hard to understand. I am unsure when I am supposed to generate new links vs use existing ones. The brand I am promoting does not have enough assets and it is not clear how to request more - they have not been responsive to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Impact Makes Reporting and Billing Fast, Reliable, and Easy to Navigate"
4/5
What do you like best about impact.com?

Impact is great for detailed and consistent reporting and billing. It is easy to navigate and there are a multitude of pre built reports that work for many different situations. It is fast, convenient, and allows for many utilizations across different integration options. I appreciate the support chat as well which is much faster than other options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about impact.com?

I think the hardest part about learning Impact is that it seems geared toward users who already kind of know what they’re doing and what they’re looking for. I haven’t found an option that lets me describe what I’m trying to find and then directs me to the right place. On top of that, sometimes brands don’t show up when I search for them. The multiple search bar options also make things a bit confusing. I also haven’t seen any AI optimizations that have helped me yet, but it would be nice if those were more prominently displayed for me to utilize. Since I’m on a company plan, I don’t have to deal with pricing, but the billing system itself has been reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
