My favorite aspect is the freedom and personalization of reporting allowed by Datalab, which is fundamental for my job as a media specialist. It saves me precious time that I previously spent on platforms like Looker Studio to present data, since I can now create multiple custom reports with different visuals directly inside Impact. This is a problem because I can’t present partner performance alongside its optimization metrics, like Incrementality. One of the biggest problems in affiliate marketing is proving the value of partners who typically don’t benefit from the usual attribution model (last click). With the Optimize Suite and the Competitive Insight sections, we have real-world data that feeds insights into the customer journey and partner incrementality, which helps us demonstrate the relevance of these partners despite the challenges imposed by the attribution model. I appreciate the depth of the analytics on impact.com. It gives me a clear view of which partners are driving the best ROI. The real-time tracking allows me to optimize campaigns on the fly. One area that could be better is the onboarding process. It does take a while to set up, especially if you're trying to configure custom partner invites or complex commission structures. Also, sometimes the user interface feels a bit overwhelming. There's a lot of depth, but it can be hard to find specific settings quickly. So a bit more streamlined guidance would help.
