What do you like best about iMovie?

iMovie is my go-to video editing tool on my MacBook. It has all the necessary features needed to produce a video for different purposes. What problems is iMovie solving and how is that benefiting you?

needed a software that I could edit videos without having to pay premium for others (l=such as adobe), especially when I didn't need all the bells and whistles. Anyone in the office can play with iMovie and get the hang of it, whereas Premiere Pro takes lots of practice and troubleshooting as a dense software, which is better for professionals who actually only edit and produce videos for a living, not needed for casual video editing as is most folks require. What do you like best about iMovie?

The interface is very intuitive, which allows you to edit videos quickly even if you have no prior experience. I like that it includes templates, transitions, and predefined effects that look professional without the need for technical knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iMovie?

As projects become more complex, iMovie falls short on advanced features. It does not allow for comfortable work with multiple video tracks. I also miss having more control over export parameters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Solve the need to edit videos quickly, easily, and for free, without having to learn complex software. It is ideal for creating content with good visual quality for social media, presentations, or personal projects.
