"Effortless File Access with Smooth Syncing"
3.5/5
What do you like best about iManage Drive?

I use iManage Drive to access and manage files from our document system on my desktop. It fixes the issue of having files scattered or hard to access, allowing me to find documents quickly and work on them like local files without logging into the web system. I like how it works like a normal folder on my desktop and the file syncing is smooth, so I can open, edit, and save documents without extra steps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iManage Drive?

Sometimes the sync can be a bit slow, especially with large files. I've also had a few issues where files don't update right away, so I have to refresh. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about iManage Drive?

In iManage, the UI/UX is easy to navigate and efficient for managing and adjusting the product’s security settings. It’s also used to integrate with third-party tools, which helps improve overall results and performance. The product includes AI features as well, and the ROI should remain manageable. What do you dislike about iManage Drive?

I don’t have any major dislikes, but sometimes it shows performance issues, and appropriate support isn’t available when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure and Compliant Document Management with Room for Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about iManage Drive?

I appreciate how iManage Drive balances enterprise-grade security and GDPR compliance with the simplicity of a regular desktop drive. It integrates naturally into our workflow, allowing our team in Berlin to access, edit, and organize client documents without sacrificing data protection or audit trails. People use it properly without resorting to unsafe workarounds, and the seamless offline access and automatic sync make remote and on-site consulting smoother. The setup was straightforward, and there was almost no learning curve since the interface behaves like a standard local drive, which is a huge plus. These aspects are invaluable for our information services and digital consulting work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iManage Drive?

One area we’d like to see improved is third‑party application integration. Our team regularly uses tools like Microsoft 365, project management platforms, and GDPR compliance trackers, and the connection between these tools and iManage Drive can feel somewhat limited. Files sync reliably, but cross‑tool automation, such as automatic tagging, metadata sharing, or event‑driven workflows, is not as smooth as with more developer‑friendly tools. We often have to manually categorize documents or update statuses across systems, which adds administrative overhead. We also occasionally notice delays in syncing large batches of files, especially when returning online after extended offline work at client sites. While individual documents sync well, dense project folders with many compliance records and client attachments can take longer than expected to fully synchronize, which can briefly slow down collaboration when multiple consultants are updating the same workspace. "Efficient Offline Access with Room for Improvement"
3/5
What do you like best about iManage Drive?

I am using iManage Drive for offline access, local editing, file management, and faster workflow. It helps me to access my file offline and work with it, update and modify locally, and share and manage easily and quickly. iManage Drive makes it easy to work with secure cloud files because they look and feel like regular folders. They have features like autonomous synchronization, intuitive mapping, real-time collaboration, and drag and drop management. The initial setup for iManage Drive was very easy for end users, but it only requires some configuration at the start for administrators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iManage Drive?

There are a few things that still need improvement, like performance delay for large files, workspace caps, file count thresholds, and technical glitches in path length issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure Document Management with Room for Speed Enhancements"
3.5/5
What do you like best about iManage Drive?

What I like most about iManage Drive is how it integrates the full security and compliance of iManage’s DMS directly to the desktop, maintaining our normal workflow. It lets us work with sensitive matter-based files as if they were local folders, ensuring everything stays secured, tracked, and governed automatically. The desktop sync feature is a major benefit, allowing access to critical client and project files offline with seamless syncing back to the central repository, eliminating the hassle of manual file check-ins, downloading duplicates, or dealing with version errors. Our team across multiple locations always has access to the latest, accurate files without confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iManage Drive?

The biggest frustration is sync speed and occasional delays, particularly with large files, batches of PDFs, or when working off a slower network. Large matter files can take a long time to sync, and sometimes the status doesn’t update right away, leaving us unsure if changes actually saved back to the DMS. There have also been rare instances of conflict errors when two people edit the same file quickly, which requires manual resolution and creates small but annoying interruptions. "Secure, Seamless Collaboration, Occasional Large File Hiccups"
5/5
What do you like best about iManage Drive?

I like iManage Drive for its trustworthy security features, including encryption, metadata tracking, and audit trails, which protect sensitive files without slowing down day-to-day work. The guided wizard makes setup easy for individuals. I also use it for secure document storage, offline access, and seamless collaboration within the iManage Work ecosystem. I recommended iManage Drive to a friend on a scale from 10 to 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iManage Drive?

Performance with large files and syncing feels sluggish when handling very large documents or datasets. Sync large files, like a 2GB dataset or multimedia files, can stall, leaving users uncertain if progress has been made. This slows down workflows in environments where heavy files are common. "Secure Document Management Made Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about iManage Drive?

I like how iManage Drive seamlessly integrates into everyday workflows, making document access and management intuitive and efficient. Its powerful search, reliable version control, and strong security features provide confidence that documents are always up to date and protected. The integration with tools like Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office is smooth, reducing manual effort and keeping everything organized in one place. I find the support and helpful resources from iManage Drive make the learning curve easy to overcome, and the documentation is clear and comprehensive. Overall, it significantly improves productivity and collaboration while maintaining a secure and centralized approach for document management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iManage Drive?

While iManage Drive works very well overall, there is some room for improvement in terms of performance during large file syncs, which can occasionally feel a bit slow. Additionally, new users may experience a slight learning curve at first, as the platform has many features. However, once familiar with the system, these minor issues are easy to manage and do not impact the overall effectiveness of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Desktop Integration, Minor Sync Hurdles"
3.5/5
What do you like best about iManage Drive?

I really like the virtual drive desktop integration feature of iManage Drive. It seamlessly mounts as a native virtual drive on every team member’s Windows/Mac desktop and integrates perfectly with all the tools our US compliance team uses daily. There’s no clunky browser-based portal or separate app to deal with, and no new file access workflow to learn. Our team accesses, edits, saves, and shares compliance documents just as they would with a local file. This feature ensures that there's no workflow disruption, which is a huge plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iManage Drive?

I get frustrated with troubleshooting basic sync issues with iManage Drive. Things like slow sync for large audit report PDFs and resolving file lock errors when multiple team members edit a document can be tricky. There's no in-app guided support, which is tough for lean teams. I'd love to see embedded in-app guided troubleshooting for these common issues, especially with step-by-step examples for US fintech use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Compliance and Effortless Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about iManage Drive?

I appreciate iManage Drive's region-segregated storage and granular GDPR/APAC compliance controls. This feature is indispensable for our global team, as it automates what used to be a manual, error-prone task, allowing compliance without the burden of legal guesswork. I like that it turns regional data residency from a manual checklist into automated workflows, eliminating human error and compliance risks. I also find the native desktop file system integration to be great because it's easy for teams to use without a learning curve. These features save us a lot of time and help us avoid costly compliance fines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iManage Drive?

I don't like that there's no document activity sync to CRM. We can’t log when an EU/APAC sales rep accesses a critical document, like a Gruveo recording consent form, in HubSpot or Salesforce. This creates gaps in the lead’s audit trail for compliance and RevOps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Document Sharing with External Access"
4.5/5
What do you like best about iManage Drive?

I like that iManage Drive makes it super easy to give access to people outside the company, which is something our internal SharePoint site struggled with. The final structure of iManage Drive is easy to understand, use, and create. I also find user access and gaining new users access to the system straightforward. Setting it up was simple since another department was already using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iManage Drive?

The interface can feel clunky and outdated compared to modern apps. . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
